Outpatient with Dr.Rangavajjula. There's ample parking if you are not getting general anesthesia and need to park your vehicle close by. Security/welcoming committee at the door which sets one's mind at ease. Sanitize and mask up if you want. Masks right now are not mandatory, but most of the staff are wearing it. I'm grateful for that. The facility is clean, and each bed is sanitized between patients as I observed for two hours before my procedure. Staff at check-in are very pleasant and professional. They are following Covid protocol and there is glass between you and the intake when you arrive. Very smooth check-in process. THE AMBULATORY SURGERY: very clean Erika, Naomi, Josephine,Karen, and the OR nurses were really well suited for patient care. Efficient and pleasant, and they take the lead if you want to lighten up with a joke or two. A couple of people recognize me from my previous procedures and we're very encouraging knowing I was in a bit of discomfort. Got walked out to my car to make sure I was getting out safely. I'll be darned if she told me her name and it is slipping my mind, but she was very lovely. I'll be losing Dr.Rangavajjula the New Jersey St. Luke's system. If you are in need of a pain specialist, and you live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, I encourage you to look him up. You will not find a finer medical professional. One more procedure to go, I hope, but this Care is appreciated.

I spent over 6 hours in the er for something that had happened once before and it was half the time at the other hospital I had gone to . I ended up waiting over an hour and a half for results that never came because they were " waiting on the specialist" to read the results meanwhile they never bothered to tell me until I asked why it was taking so long I ended up telling the nurse that I wanted my discharge papers I only went here because it was the closest hospital to where I was when I was having symptoms I should have just drove the extra 20 minutes to the better hospital read more

DO NOT!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, go to Putnam Hospital Center (Carmel, NY) for treatment of any kind!!!!! My wife was complaining of nausea, and some dizziness and headaches. Her doctor recommended going to the hospital and getting a CAT Scan. She was not feeling too bad at the time. The next day the doctor said we should go to the hospital and get an MRI. That was on March 10, 2026. Since then she has gotten worse, with her back causing her the most pain. We both believe it was from the RACK she laid on for 5 days. What a horrible bed!!! They thought she might have had a stroke, but that was ruled out. They ran a number of tests, and a second MRI, but found no cause for her problems. They kept sticking her with needles to try and relieve her nausea with drugs, until her upper arms, and her abdomen where hideously black and blue. She looked like a pin cushion. We finally came home on March 14, 2026, and there has been no change. On St. Patty's day one of her doctors called to say a test came back positive for mononucleosis!!! She must have gotten it when she was in the hospital!!! She continues to have nausea and severe back pain. She cannot eat because of the nausea. Only some oatmeal and yogurt. Please save yourself aggravation and all kinds of pain by NOT going to this hospital!!! Dan McA. read more

The psychiatric unit at Putnam Hospital is dreadfully appalling. It basically warehouses patients who pace the halls aimlessly with NO substantive treatment. Despite some caring nurses, the overall supports provided are grossly substandard. The psychiatrists running this unit are devoid of clinical theory and practice, and overall professionalism. The individual ratings of the psychiatrists on this unit are quite poor. Patient's families are not included in the treatment, and the main psychiatrist does not gather history to formulate the best treatment and discharge plans. The social worker continuously complains of being overworked and is clueless about optimal discharge planning and placement. The unit needs to be revamped. It needs new leadership, competent psychiatrists, and clinical staff. Northwell must step in and replace the current psychiatrists heading it. This unit is widely known in the community for being poorly run with incompetent psychiatrists and staff, yet it continues to exist. The Putnam County Department of Mental Health has inserted itself to oversee the discharge plans as the hospital staff have formulated unsafe and thoughtless disposition plans. Patient relapses are not surprising given the poor care and poor discharge plans. It is a bewilderment as how state authorities and the joint commission for hospitals have not stepped in, cited it for poor care, and shut it down. read more

Don't expect to see a specialist--especially a gynecologist--if you get sick on the weekend or need a sonogram. It seems gyns and ultrasound techs are privileged enough to have weekends off. Be prepared for a huge bill just for basic lab work. I don't recommend taking the "convenient" route just because it's close to home read more

Long story short I went in because I wasn't feeling well after they blocked my arm with Miss needles another nurse had to insert a needle in my arm she also blocked it then finally on the third time they finally got a needle inserted in my arm to get blood work then I waited and waited and waited until I was told I was fine and I said I was not fine I don't feel well anyway I was discharged I told my father to take me to my regular hospital and New York Presbyterian hospital only reason why I went to Putnam was because I was visiting my family and I thought Putnam was a reasonably good hospital but it wasn't come to find out when I was admitted at New York Presbyterian hospital I was diagnosed with a bladder infection which they took care of I stay in the hospital for 5 days if I didn't went to nyp I don't know what would have happened please if possible don't go to Putnam hospital they're the worst read more

What a shit hole. The care is so bad. First the security made me empty my pockets, that's not too bad ,I understand. But then to go through the metal detector 4 times, pick up my shirt, take off my shoes !!! Next, the security guard looks through my purse as if I were carrying a gun !!! Next waiting room, next the nurse , height and weight. 2 minutes, tops . Next the doctor, 2 minutes, tops. Was told to be at hospital at 1:45 pm. Was told they would prep me and procedure would be approximately an hour. Was told to tell my pick up person to come around 4/4:30. Very unfriendly valet services. when my disabled wife and I arrived, there were no parking spaces close to the of the sidewalk. The closest one was in a spot in the valet parking. She went into the hospital for an x-ray and I sat in the car with the car running. There were probably 50 spaces and in the valet parking area and he made move, when my wife came to the parking lot she had to search for the car. The car was not left unoccupied and could have let me stay read more

I truly had a horrible ER visit. I arrived by ambulance because i took a nasty fall and hit my head. I was in severe pain, crying and moaning. I arrived at 11pm and didn't see a doctor till around 1. He was short, unfriendly and didn't examine me. Everything took so long. I didn't get meds till 2. The nurses seemed over worked and short staffed. They seemed exhausted and were unfriendly. Another terrible time at Putnam hospital how long does a hospital operate and this low of a level before someone steps in first meal I got was cold scrambled eggs and home fries in a Styrofoam container they used to have insulated plates I've also been fighting to get the doctor to make my pain seriously everyone in the hospital is so afraid of opiate pain medication that they're neglecting peoples like myselves paint today Ive been givin 2 does of pain medication neither of which helped my pain at all both time the doctor didn't listen to anything I had to say I tried explaining I have a 14 year tolerance he doesn't seem to know what that even means cuz it's currently 2:42 pm and I have yet to have any pain relief I don't even know what to do at this point I do know that very very likely will be my last visit to this hospital and a quick Google search tells me the majority are unhappy with what nuvance has done to this hospital it's a shit show there's no nurses working here so you wait around for 30 40 60+ minutes for meds or a ginger ale overall probably one of the worst hospital stays in 14 years of consistent hospitalizations due to Addisons disease read more

I visited October 12th where I was pulled to the back they did vitals then took me back to fast track set me in a chair did my vitals again took cultures for strep flu and covid then I was set in a waiting room where I was given a test x-ray in the waiting room I never saw a doctor a doctor never came in and checked my ears my nose my throat listen to my chest nothing I had been sick for over a week and it had moved into my chest and I was having trouble breathing as well as earache none of that was taken into consideration I sat there for probably an hour and the next thing I know the nurse comes in says I can leave where I was given a steroid a muscle relaxer a z-pack and an inhaler and at that time I said to the nurse the discharged me that this was the worst hospital I'd ever seen knowing full well that I would be back so tonight October 18th I ended up back in the hospital again I was taken back given the vitals and this time they took me back to the regular part of the emergency room where I was set in a chair again in a room this time the doctor or nurse practitioner came in this time they looked in my ears my throat and you listen to my chest and sure enough he noticed that I was wheezing and rattling really bad they didn't know loud works they didn't no blood work and I was left sitting in a chair for 2 hours where they gave me one breathing treatment when does Savannah biotics a steroid in some kind of cough pills again I just don't feel like the quality of care was the best that they could provide and I honestly feel like I was treated a certain way because of the statement that I had made the last time I was there if I was to give anyone advice I would tell them to definitely not go to this hospital under any circumstance my daughter went there a year ago and was taking him by ambulance due to an issue in her foot she has a blood disorder they kept sending her home and kept telling her they weren't giving her any pain medication which she didn't even want she ended up going to a hospital in Gainesville where she almost lost her foot they took her back immediately and told her that she would have waited one more day that they weren't sure that they could have saved her foot this is by far the worst hospital I have ever ever heard of I have heard only negative about this hospital from all the local people I have not heard any one say one good thing about this hospital avoid it at all costs. read more

I recently went to PHC for a routine colonoscopy and couldn't be more impressed. The staff in the gastroenterology suite were beyond amazing. Sincerely, or I wouldn't take the time to write this. Matt, my nurse, was calming, professional, and attentive. I had 2 other nurses that met me in the prep room who were kind and helpful, (sorry i forget their names), and then Dr. T, my anesthesiologist and Dr. Saidi were compassionate and made me feel at ease. The money that was spent building the new waiting room at the ER was in vain, as nothing was done to improve their actual function. I've never seen a Dr here over the past 20 years that was ever interested in what might actually be wrong with me. My last visit was after an adverse side effect to a medication. I was there 5 hours and was never once hooked up to the monitor. The first nurse looked to be about 12, so no surprise that she didn't even bother trying to find a vein, and went in through my wrist which is always horrible. As I watched her, "I" had to warn her that the blood was flowing too slowly and would likely clot. She didn't listen. 5 years later and my wrist on fire, she finished. An hour later another nurse came in to draw blood because.. wait for it.. it clotted. THEN 3 hours in they come in to ask for another urine because.. again wait for it.. they lost my first sample. Not a beat is skipped for them to collect a copay before I'd even gotten my results however. Had to beg for a tiny cup of water. The tv in my room had a humongous crack straight across, so everything looked like a Picasso painting. Dried blood on the floor that wasn't mine. And also the third time I've seen that. The bathroom was disgusting, I was freezing, with no blanket the whole time. And at one point a nurse came into my room to "finish her paperwork in peace" To add insult to injury the woman that they pay to check you in and take your temp, who's seated at some rinky dink table, was literally on her phone the whole time, having a very private conversation about her addiction recovery, like not a single one of us were there. I'm pretty sure a pulse is the only requirement to be hired here. read more

The worst hospital I have ever been to... time and time again! Took my son at 5am On Christmas Day. He was very ill. They made us wait for 4 hours & tookevery person who came in after us before us. I realize it goes by order of severity but the people taken after us had the same illness and were same age. There was noconcern or empathy given to us even tho my son was vomiting constantly sitting in.the waiting room. We finally left and did not get treated. I should have learned my lesson, based on many many prior bad experienes, but rest assured I will never ever go again! read more

EMERGENCY ROOM Simply put, they should stop pretending that they have an emergency room. More like a regular doctor's office. I walked in at 2:30AM with an urgent heart condition that usually gets immediate care. Sat and waited for someone to come to the front desk in the empty room. After 15 minutes, I asked the guard to go find someone. Another 10 minutes passes and a person comes to the desk. Takes my info and am told to wait. Meanwhile, with a heart rate at 170 bpm in A-Fib, I'm waiting to have a stroke right in the chair. 10 minutes later, nurse comes out to take me in to the ER. As I was dizzy from the A-Fib, there was no assistance at all. In the ER, I'm given an EKG in triage. Nurse then says I'm going to a room. Across the ER. I said I was dizzy as I was leaning on the edge of the bed I was just on. She's 20 feet from me, calling me to come as if I was a dog. "Come on now, let's go. Come on. Come this way. Let's go now." So I held onto objects as I worked my way to the assigned room. Now in a bed. Nothing happens for 15 minutes. Door closed. No heart monitor. Nothing. I'm just waiting for the heart attack. A tech finally rolled in to take a chest X-ray. I told him I wanted a doctor. So he says "so, you don't want an X-ray?" Let me be clear. I've been in this situation several times over the years. An X-ray isn't the first thing you get with A-Fib treatment. You are immediately put on a heart monitor, an IV line is placed, and the doctor walks in to assess you. Then a blood thinner is given so you don't have a stroke. To make a long story short: the doc got pissed off when I asked why no blood thinner. It took a half hour before the heart monitor was placed on me and an IV was installed and blood drawn. When you had to pee, you got up on your own. The wires pull off your chest meaning no monitor is working. Push the call button a hundred times and someone arrives in 10 minutes. Treatment medication was finally given about two hours after I had arrived. The ONLY good thing here was my nurse was GREAT. Kept me calm when she was with me about one minute at a time. Explained how under staffed they were. Got discharged 4 hours after arrival. Tech guy comes in. Pulls the leed wires of my chest. Pulls out the IV and places bandage. Says "get dressed", throws some papers on the bed and is gone. All of this in about one minute. Take my paper work up to the ER desk. About 3 people behind desk chatting with each other while in front of computers. Myself and another guy who has same paperwork as I are standing there for a while. No attention was given to us at all. Not even a glance to acknowledge our existence. We talked about our confusion for a minute, then left the building. If they don't know how to run an ER, just shut it down. I've had other experiences in this ER. One was a bad fall and painful back injury. No X-ray taken. Powerful pain med given. Told to go home after about 15 minutes of the pain med. I said I couldn't walk. Too much pain. I would need assistance. Time passes and I can finally stand to leave. I asked the female doctor what was my diagnosis. SHE WOULDN'T TELL ME. I told her you must tell the patient the diagnosis. She refused and walked out. Just turn this place into a Starbucks or something if your only focus is money. read more

Completely useless, trash hospital. So bad that I made an account just to write this review. Brought a family member to the emergency room who was in excruciating pain. After going through their bizarre facial scanners, I was told I couldn't stay because "covid." I don't have covid, but I was considered a "visitor," not allowed to stay and had to leave him there alone. I checked in with him every half hour...for SEVEN hours. Seven. And still he hadn't been seen. Finally I went to pick him up and he left, still in pain, without ever having seen a doctor and with useless staff who give canned excuses and don't seem to know or care what is going on. I will never, EVER go to this hospital again for any reason. If they can't see someone with an actual emergency and leave them sitting there in pain for seven hours, I certainly wouldn't trust them to provide effective and quality medical care. (Edit: I also find it interesting, not to mention infuriating, that my review was responded to more promptly than this hospital was able to provide medical care to someone in excruciating pain. Clearly their priority is PR, not medicine. I will continue to avoid this hospital at ALL costs and will tell everyone I know to avoid it as well). read more

Putnam County Hospital... DO BETTER!!! I've never been so pissed off and upset about what I witnessed tonight. My father needed to go to the ER so myself and my sister took him to the hospital at 1:00AM This morning. Once we got there, they took my dad back as my sister and I waited in the lobby. While we were sitting there, there was a young man who ran in the sliding doors, and hunched over and grabbed his knees, and was breathing real heavy... The lady in door #2 looked at him and said, can I help you? but CLEARLY you could see that he could not breathe so I immediately jumped up and said hey dude, do you need a wheelchair and he looked at me and said in a raspy voice yes, I can't breathe. So I ran over and got him the wheelchair and helped him sit down in it as I was doing that, the lady in door #2 looked at him again and said, what's your name do you have insurance? And tried to hand him a clip board to sign, I then looked at her very abruptly and said who gives a fuck if he has insurance he clearly can't breathe and is shaking bad and needs help NOW. She gave me a really stern kind of shitty look, but in that moment I went into defense mode for the poor guy (Get his damn name & info later) So I pushed the wheelchair back and pushed it really fast to the double doors that they have to push the button to open to let him in to the ER, as the guy looks back at me and starts having a seizure and shaking his whole body and grabs a hold of my wrist and he says: as he's looking into my eyes. Please help me please help me I can't breathe ... I looked at the two women (door #1 lady & door #2 lady) that were standing there staring at me through the glass just watching it all happen, and I said: open the fucking doors, He's going into shock he's having a heart attack. The guy looked at me and said: Here I go, it's time. His eyes went black, and his whole body locked up into shock and fell sideways & out of the wheelchair and I grabbed him underneath his arms... In that moment, the doors finally opened, and there were, a couple nurses and the ER doctor there to help and rushed him away. I then walked outside to get myself some air, as I was shakin' up so bad, and then said a prayer for this young man. 10 minutes later... my sister, who was back there with my dad and saw it all and what was happening in the ER, told me that that guy had Died. I'm so pissed & upset and crying that I can't even sleep, I was literally the last person that young man spoke to, and asked for help to save his life, and saw the last breath he took... (This is tattooed in my mind). I feel so much hurt for him, considering the fact "no one" in the front that works at Putnam County Hospital Clearly cared enough to get him the help that he needed when coming to the hospital other than MYSELF. I have absolutely no clue who this young man was, who his family is, or who is hurting because of his death this morning. I would just like to say a prayer for him and his family. And if by chance your out there reading this post... just wanna let you know I did try my best to help him get back there faster and to save his life. This truly was a devastating experience for me to witness. I know God put me there for a reason, but WOW My heart really hurts for him. God Bless this young man. worst hospital ever. I saw some of the negative reviews and felt an obligation to add my experience to the mix. I have been going to Putnam Hospital for over 20 years. I was there for 12 days in 1990 when I injured my back. Both of my kids were born there. My father died there. My mom is currently an admitted patient. I can honestly say that I have always received solid, compassionate care at this facility. The new Emergency Department is very nice. Been there 3-4 times with my mom in the past 4 months. She has always been seen quickly, and treated quickly. Today she arrived via ambulance at 1015AM. By 12:15 PM she had been seen by the ER doc, got an EKG, multiple xrays, a battery of blood tests and the results, and was finally admitted. Now I don't know much about hospitals, but that was pretty darned efficient. I can judge pretty harshly if I perceive things are not right. I come up empty here. I am sure things don't always go as smoothly, but I have had a lot of experience at this facility, and they have always been positive. The parking stinks---there I can find something to complain about! Other than that, I think they do a very good job. read more

I went to Putnam Hospital with an irregular heartbeat. I waited 1hour and 45minutes, then I started getting chest pains, told them and waited 15minutes. I left for another hospital. I was so scared. I then went 2 weeks later with severe pains in my side. The triage gave me a painkiller and told me to wait. After 3 hours, I left for another hospital. I go to Putnam Hospital since my Doctors are affiliated with the hospital. Now I know I can have records transferred I will never go to their ER ever again. read more

I am 85 years old and I go to my doctors at Putnam hospital a lot. Now when covid started the hospital locked all doors except the main Door which I could understand. I am asking the hospital to open the Door closest to the elevators for the doctors offices. You have a lot of Sick seniors walking a long hallway to get to doctor office. Some have Walkers, canes breathing problems and I have seen seniors from PT Walking on crutches. I sometimes am out of breath especially wearing A mask by the time I get to the doctor. Now you young people working At the hospital think this is no big deal but remember we are the customers And the customer is always right read more

I would stay away from the birthing center especially if you have Dr. Laura kaye . My birthing experience with her was horrific. She's not kind, she's rude, and rolls her eyes at you when you are in the middle of pain from contractions . Unfortunately my doctor was not uncalled and I had the unfortunate experience dealing with her . Any doctor in this field should be more empathetic to us mothers who experience pain and are about to deliver a child . Wish my experience was better then dealing with this doctor . On the plus side the nurses are amazing . Huge thank you to Colleen, Carol, Michelle, and others who provided the support and encouragement . Colleen you are an angel !!!!! read more

I took my other half that was with me for 8 years to Putnam Hospital in 2009, It was the worst thing I did. A nurse's aid Jodi made sure she was his nurse's aid on her working schedule and more then that she use Putnam Hospital to say she had to watch what he was eating and started to prepare food and invited him up for lunch. SOMEHOW THIS PERSON LIVES RIGHT UP THE STREET FROM HIS JOB ON MAIN ST IN BREWSTER, NY. Paul said oh Putnam Hospital was so nice to have a employee staff member to help out! Paul had to go back to work asap even after being in the hospital for a week. I saw the change in Paul little by little and found out she was forcing him to eat things like CHICKEN which Paul hated and would never eat! I would asked him questions and he couldn't answer me clearly. Paul was not himself and afterwards Paul was afraid to talk and Jodi made sure she would stand next to him and do all the talking for Paul. Jodi would make sure that they stay together so she could control what is said. SHE WAS PUTTING DRUGS IN HIS FOOD!!!! Paul has become depending on her drugs and Paul was never a drug or a big drinker before. Putnam Hospital allows workers that are on drugs to work there! The rumor also was found out that a female doctor was having sex with a nurse in a patient's room! what kind of hospital is this and why isn't Mike Weber do something???? The parking lot and hospital inside should have cameras so they can see what is going on. Oh also this Jodi L. Magnotta-Chanza who worked on the 4th floor in the new Rojas wing has threaten me and said move on because she would do more to me and quoted to me" my dark power will do things to you and I can get away with anything," I can and will take a needle on you and you will could be dead! or maybe you will disappear and I have power to do and we can do it all and no one will know it's me , Never go near Paul again She does and has others to do hurting things towards me because she said that she is IMP and nobody not even the police can do anything to her! She said she controls a lot so you could end up dead and well they will never be able to put the blame on her. She would use the hospital phone to call with haressment and the director they did nothing! The head director was contacted in this matter and they said is a personal thing , BUT IT'S NOT WHEN YOU HAVE AN EMPLOYEE THAT WILL PUSH A PATIENT TO BELIEVE THAT they are HELPING THE PERSON to get better BUT THEY ARE PUSHING AND FORCING DRUGS IN THE PATIENT TO CONTROL! I NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING!! I NEVER HEARD OF A PERSON THAT CAN GET AWAY OF HARMING PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILY JUST BECAUSE PUTNAM HOSPITAL ALLOWS THIS KIND OF THING TO GO ON, Putnam Hospital GOT PAID $20,0000 OR MORE FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY for the week care! SHE IS LIAR, A REAL CON JOB AND WILL MAKE BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE ELSE IS CRAZY BUT THEY NEED TO DRUG TEST HER AND I AM SO SURE THEY WILL BE SURPRISE WHAT THEY WILL FIND AND OTHERS THAT in the family of what SHE IS DOING TO THEM PUTNAM HOSPITAL ( NO DRUG TESTING ON THEIR EMPLOYEES, NO CAMERAS NO SCREENING ON EMPLOYEES WE NEED TO STOP THIS HOSPITAL! It's sad that those employees that are good at Putnam Hospital have to be hurt and put down because of this. Jodi's haressment, Will use others to force others to feel sorry for her but will force them to do what she wants! I never met a person that is so evil and wicked and has threaten me and try to harm me in her wicked ways! She has several different addresses and several different alien names and uses young adults and children, SO MANY different cars all over from westchester, dutchess, putnam county and several people assisting her and our smalls towns now have major traffic and problems to all hours of the night even Putnam Hospital Parking Lot is busy all hours with many cars in it even if that amount is not working there, she even has medical staff and different agencies helping her on major corruption and got several auto from Paul's job to go out and purchase from the auctions. She has scams of all sort with internet cars and some kind of drugs. and I believe Putnam hospital knows also of what she is doing. THANK YOU Putnam Hospital for taking my $20,0000 messing up my life, my families life and all the corruption in our towns, because of their employee and there was several letters and talk about this one employee and nothing is done to by Putnam Hospital to correct the problem only to make it worst! read more

Eek! Methinks not. This is the worst hospital I've ever been to in my life. I have had severe Crohn's disease for over 24 years and am now in end stage and require my third major surgery right after thanksgiving. Adhesions will close my instestine at times and cause severe vomiting which has caused kidney failure in the past. When I go to this hospital which is the only one near Interlachen, I am treated like a drug seeker and a stupid woman instead of a patient who has been bravely fighting a devastating disease process most of her life. Dr. Bold Hood is the only good doctor in this place who finally saw and listened to what I have been going through. Crohn's is not only an intestinal disease, it is an immune system disorder. It attacked my brain overnight and I lost my hearing. Went to this hospital and was told to go to the drugstore and get behind the counter sinus medication. My primary doc realized I had become severely deaf and sent me to an Ear Nose and Throat doc, had brain scan and found that my cochlear hearing had been taken out, was told I should not have waited so long to try steroid treatments through my eardrum all the way down into my brain. Because I was given the wrong diagnoses and this lovely ER we have, I was only able to get 10% of 10% of my hearing back due to the time it took to get to the ENT doctor. Now I only have 30% hearing in my left ear and none in the right. Hearing aids won't work for cochlear hearing because it is my brain that was damaged and not my ears and an implant is just not a viable choice if you have Crohn's Disease. Thank you Putnam Hospital, and also for making the upcoming intestinal surgery take so long for me to get due to your incompetence as well. I'm so afraid that one day I will have a life and death emergency due to my intestinal disease and they will let me die because of their preconceived notions of what they think patients are there for. Number one being drug seeking, we are not all criminals, some of us are slowly dying from terrible life altering diseases and need real care and empathy from the people we entrust and pay through our insurance to care for us. I have been in this ER several times. A year and a half ago, I had a breathing problem. The doctor that night was amazing and wonderful, so I do not believe that the PHC ER is at it's core a bad place. However, the last time I was brought to the ER on July 23rd, I was there for a possible concussion following a car accident. I understand that things are going to be a little whacked out during construction, but I wish I had taken the trip down to Mt Kisco that night. I had shooting pain in my head and was left in the waiting room for five hours. Five. I'm a laid back person, so in normal situations I do not mind waiting. But that night? There were three young kids running around screaming, only to be outscreamed by their mother in a futile attempt to control them. They do have a quiet room, but that was unavailable to me as there was an inmate and an officer in there. I'm not saying the kids or the inmate had any less of a reason to be there than I did. But intake knew that I was there with shooting pains in my head and did absolutely nothing to make my situation any better. Even after I had my CT scan, I was led back out into the waiting room, back into the playground to wait another forty-five minutes. At long last, I was brought into the actual ER, only to be told ten minutes later by an orderly that I was being discharged without even seeing a doctor. I protested this; a few minutes later a doctor came in and said "No concussion. You just need to rest" and left. So why am I writing this now? Because seven months later, facing memory and cognitive problems, my neurologist tells me that a CT scan cannot detect a concussion. Come on, PHC. You can do better than this. read more

Truly wish zero starts was an option - not only does everyone in the office not care about people coming in with cardiology problems, but you have physicians assist Leslie, who must of gotten her degree online during corona virus when students were being hired for the pandemic, who contradicts the medicine a CARDIOLOGIST HAS PRESCRIBED. To speak to a patient saying you disagree with a doctor is COMPLETELY unprofessional and should have dealt with the matter of her speaking to the doctor directly to voice concerns - nor did she even explain to the patient how to take preexisting medication along with what was newly prescribed. Honestly shameful for her to act like she knows better than a cardiologist after saying "she doesn't know much about the heart." Upon leaving - she continues to be rude and insists patient is discharged even when an IV bag was ordered for the patient. read more

My grandpa got rushed in by ambulance and couldn't find a fucking extra pillow or two while he had issues with his heart/ breathing. I'd give 0 stars if I could because they all suck dick. Hope the people at the front that were smart asses tonight get fucking fired. And thank you to the women at the charge station that helped. Overall this place is hell and doesn't do shit read more

This hospital is shady to say the least. Uses ny state mental capacity law to admit patients when most do not need it. local sheriffs dept is overly aggressive and does not do their job, why these individuals running this place bill each patient up to $1000 for unnecessary services. GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL! i can only speak for myself. but they have done this twice to me. read more

Absolutely the worst. I would never go back. With a few nurse exceptions the staff lacks professionalism and basic decency. The emergency room was filthy and freezing cold. Whoever is running this place should seriously consider a career change. They are doing more harm then good. read more

Nurse Practitioner from hell. She's so overqualified for her position that she's suddenly a doctor making determinations without a doctors evaluation. Highly recommend avoiding this place. read more
