The worst company ever! Stay away! Non existing customer service, rude and not caring about their customers! Placed an order on October 28, and as of November 9 i have not received my order yet! Called and emailed multiple times! Finally got someone to talk to me she said it was shipped but does not know when No tracking information Told me will back to me and hung up! I bought Christmas cards that looked as if they had sat through the pandemic. the store response 1 week before Christmas was to return them! A substituted box of cards, on same order, had no inside greeting, not special and not suitable for my business clients and not worth the price I paid for them. No positive response from Putti on this. Previous year purchase of snow globe, very pretty, but stopped working with intermittent use before the year was up. fYI battery eater. I love this shop. The owner brings in such unique and beautiful items from the UK and Italy. Vi, the gentleman who works there is always extremely nice and so helpful. He is great to deal with and so are Helen and Martha. I can spend hours there looking at everything. read more

Very poor customer service. I have still not received my item ordered over a month ago. I used the 'contact us' email address to ask when I could expect the item. Five emails went unanswered and when I phoned I was promised callbacks which never happened. Eventually, after I kept calling and it was clear that I was not going to give up, I was told that I had selected a delivery method that could take up to twelve weeks. This was certainly not made clear at the point of order. My advice would be not to order online from this place. I will never do so again. read more

Putti is a high-end home furnishings and accessories store in midtown. It's the kind of store you browse through when want to feel like you belong to the moneyed Rosedale set for half an hour. And it will take you half an hour to get through the store -- there is stuff *everywhere*! They have an amazing selection of candles, framed art, and linens, among other things. The prices were slightly out of reach for me (a $5,000 armoire, anyone?), although they're not catering to my demographic anyway. I found the staff to be extremely rude (well, Ruth "helped" me and she was the rudest of the rude) -- when you walk in the door, don't expect them to say hello, or speak to you in any way. If you really want to splurge on something nice for your home or need a nice gift for someone, it's worth a look...just don't expect to be fawned over from the staff. read more

The store has a bunch of cute, useless knick knacks that might be fun to splurge on. But the owner is very rude and has very poor customer service skills. He yells at you if you ask him a question, and then he barks at you to find something yourself. Considering how the economy is reopening after covid, you would think he would be more grateful for the incoming foot traffic. In general, the store is cramped and the experience is unpleasant. read more

I would not recommend having items shipped unless you order several months ahead. I placed an order before Nov 17th, and just received notification of shipment on December 9th. The tracking information shows my items arriving the week of Christmas, which I feel is quite late for Christmas decorations and gifts. I understand shipping may be shower due to Covid, but packing and arranging to ship the items should not have taken this long in my opinion. I did not receive any communications notifying me of the delay. Very disappointing. read more

Great products and offerings. Like discovering a secret treasure trove of every girl or designer's dream items. Unique items including well-curated antiques (amazing Venetian mirrors and French wood furniture) and new items (cards, pillows, lamps). Negatives: Sometimes the smell of all the candles and incense can be over-whelming. Some staff are more friendly than others. Service and friendliness varies depending on the day. read more

If Aladdin's cave existed in real life, its at Putti. Wow, wow, wow. Its a sensory of delight(s) between the incredibly laid out products of all types, the gorgeous fragrances, its sheer joy. Hit it up near Xmas and you will be blown away by the endless ornaments, wreaths and decor. I walked out with 2 trees worth. Having a party? I'm tempted to want to host one eyeing up all the dinner wear to eye catching disposable party packs and helium balloons if you can believe it they seem to have it all. When i'm in the mood for the feel of Europe, I hit up their room fragrances (many from Paris) or body perfumes. Stunning. As much as I love the Hudson's Bay, they just don't have what is on offer here. Its magical. When I need a stationary card, they have a cubbyhole area with all sorts of unique cards that leave me giggling and almost forgetting the card I went in for! I head to Putti not only to be transported into a truly amazing shopping experience but also because I find the most unique and enchanting pieces there. It's so refreshing to be able to give a high rating on something local. Putti is doing things right. I cant say enough its mesmerizing. This place brings the spark to Rosedale - Summerhill. Oh and the staff are sublime. Thank you especially to Michael and Johnny (I hope I spelt that right). p.s. Disappointed that despite a sign about masks and distancing, public health regulations are not being adhered to in this shop. The employee behind the counter had the mask on his chin, and another employee was wearing a mask and not covering her nose. Another customer was allowed to enter and shop wearing a mask on her chin. Moreover, the employees were loudly complaining about masks and physical distancing rules. I was appalled and shall not be returning, which is unfortunate as I like their products and want to support local shops in my neighbourhood. As someone who works in a hospital and wears a mask eight hours a day, I find this blatant disregard for the health and safety of others extremely disrespectful. read more

Putti has some beautiful items, especially at Christmas time with all the lovely ornaments. This being said, the staff there are extremely unpleasant; in particular the owner. The staff are unfriendly, unhelpful and treat you as though you are intruding in their cramped store. Their prices are quite high but it is a beautiful store. We used to love coming to this shop to buy some special ornaments but we won't return. I asked for boxes for ornaments for gifts; they didn't have any. When you spend $15 dollars on an ornament, you want to make sure it is kept safe until delivered. They offered "gift bags", then they didn't include any! I asked for some extra tissue, they didn't include any! I work in customer service where I treat every customer as I would like to be treated. At Putti you are treated so poorly, I will no longer support this establishment. read more

Discovered this gem of a store on the weekend, what a treasure! Spent a full hour looking at all their goods, felt like a kid in a candy store. Service was great; both associates were very pleasant, they kept busy with their jobs, left my sister and I to browse without breathing over our shoulders or being pushy, yet were available to help when we had questions and needed the assistance. We both made a purchase in the end (I was thrilled to find the perfect bedding after searching forever in other stores and online). Can't wait to go back as there were some lamps and accessories that I think I can't live without. Prices were appropriate for the merchandise. read more

This store has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I never write reviews but felt compelled to write one after my experience. I purchased 11 mugs and saucers back in July and received the items by mail late August. One of the mugs arrived broken. And the rest of the items I rinsed off in water. Immediately after touching the water, grey/brown streaks appeared on the mugs and saucers and seem to have gone right through inside the actual mug and saucer. So I stopped and emailed the store right away and showed them pictures of what happened. I initially received apologetic responses and an explanation that it will take some time for the store to reach out to their supplier etc. I was then told that there was a problem with the glaze and that I would either receive a refund or a replacement. However, after the store confirmed that the same thing happened to the mugs or saucers they had in stock and tested, I never got any further communication. I've emailed twice since then and did not receive a response. Now six months later, I have no mugs or saucers to use and no money to spend on new ones. I would not recommend shopping here. Perhaps if nothing went wrong, it would be fine as the store does carry nice things. But don't expect anything if in fact something does go wrong. read more

Shopping at Putti is such a treat. In fact there isn't any place I can think of in Toronto or anywhere else for that matter that even remotely compares. The store has something for everyone. I have bought many gifts at Putti over the years and also purchased many lovely items for our home. There is also a unique selection of baby clothes.. probably the nicest I have ever seen that will literally take your breath away. I shop here all year long because there is always something new to find here. And at Christmas time the store is nothing short of magical. I have always found the staff to be helpful and kind and the owner goes out of her way to source out unique items to bring to her customers that you just won't find anywhere else. As far as the prices you can shop here for high end items, but there are also many articles that are not at all expensive. I went to Putti yesterday and bought many delicate ornaments and the owner wrapped each item in bubble wrap, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Putti to people who like to buy nice things for their home or if you're looking for a special gift. Also I just noticed at the top of my review it lists 'antiques'...from what I can tell the majority of the items in the store are not antiques so just didn't want to mislead anyone with this review. read more
