Since I have never been in the specialized store for puzzles this is rated - As good as it gets. You can get 2D or 3D; 100 piece, 1,000 piece or 40,000 piece. You can puzzle art, cities, buildings, animals, nature, characters - there is something for everybody. Nice staff and just 5 minutes away from I95 (near Potomac Mills) Price of the 1,000 piece puzzle in the National Art Gallery is $21 and 1,000 piece here is $18 so the cost is OK. read more

Occoquan is a weird little town but this puzzle shop is great. They have Ravensburger, CobbleHill, Lang, White Mountain, Galison, Springbok and lots of other brands. They have a good selection for kids, fantasy puzzles, round puzzles, all kinds of interesting stuff. read more

I was looking for an extra large puzzle for a friend as a gift. I wanted something at least 9000 pieces. They had a 12,000 piece puzzle and a 32,000 piece puzzle. I decided to go with the 12,000 piece puzzle. I needed it for a party that day and they were closing in 30 minutes. I called and they stayed at the store past closing to meet me. There was a street festival going on that prevented me from driving up to the shop so they made arrangements to walk the puzzle to my car a few blocks away. AMAZING customer service. What a cool little store filled with jigsaw puzzles of all sizes from small to 60,000 pieces! I went in out of curiosity, and left with a 1,000 piece puzzle of the Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy, which struck a chord since I was there in 2013. They also had some nice ones of New Yorker magazine covers. I wanted one, and might have to go back and get one! If you're in the market for a jigsaw puzzle, you WILL find what you want here. Haven't gotten the chance to set foot in this lovely fun store. My daughter goes on lunch dates with her grandma in Occoquan. My daughter always requests to get a puzzle from this store and being a grandma she always spoils her and buys her a beautiful memory. These puzzles are beautiful and very good quality and so colorful. My daughter is 3 and they have such creative ones for her age and unique ones too. Today she brought home 2 singing ones and she loves them. I can't wait to come to this shop. read more

I had never heard of a shop that exclusively sold jigsaw puzzle so of course I had to go in. This shop is a tiny little maze of room after room of jigsaw puzzles! I'm not ever in the market for puzzles except for the after new years sales at the calendar shop, but Puzzle Palooza opened my eyes to a whole new world of puzzles. They had all kinds of puzzles from expert to beginner, and child to adults. you can even customize puzzles there or but puzzles you can color or draw yourself! My favorite were the christmas cookie puzzles that had cookie recipes on them, what a perfect christmas gift. The store itself gives you a bit of nostalgia walking around seeing these cardboard boxes and slider puzzles with images that remind you of your childhood such as the kittens in baskets 500 piece puzzle that everyones grandma probably had for you to play with during a visit. The woman working the shop was helpful to, I never in my wildest dreams would be able to pin point a specific type of puzzle in that jigsaw puzzle, but she could b line from one side of the store to the other and know exactly where the puzzle you wanted was located. At this point i have provided you a fair amount of knowledge on lets face it, a puzzle shop so Ill get to the point; If you're spending a day walking around Occoquan window browsing or looking for unique gifts then this is the perfect shop for that old town feel where you can find something special. read more

Excellent customer service--very friendly and helpful. So many more puzzles than you'd imagine seeing the small size of the store. They have a kids section with puzzles out for the kids so my daughter loves that. It's worth spending a little more money here for the personal service and to support small businesses. This shop has it all! It's like the museum of puzzles but you can take a piece home! I loved the huge assortment of puzzles and connect the dots to 400. It serves 2 year olds to 100 yearolds. 10 piece puzzles to 34,000 piece puzzles. Amazing and fun! read more

I've wanted to post long ago, but somehow it didn't work well or I didn't finish it on my iphone. ANYHOW definitely wanted to post! A great store! I have been here twice. Once with me, husband, 1.5 year old, friend, her husband, and 2.5 year old. A small place, but the owner was so nice and understanding with our kids there and wanting to play with some of the puzzles out and moving boxes around. I could see if other people were there as well, that they could have been tight on space and possibly annoyed at our kids (who were pretty good by the way, but not everyone is a fan of kids). The owner helped us brainstorm what may be good for our kids as well. We have been greatly enjoying our puzzles for over a year now! We returned once more, this time with a stroller and another friend, even more tricky to navigate, but again wonderful experience! Both visits were on a weekend and the space was fine for people coming and going - probably not everyone needs as much brainstorming time as those with little kids.
