Seafood. Poutine. Together forever.
I don't know that anything else needs to be said about this magnificent fresh seafood restaurant on the edge of civilization. It's basically worth the trip up from Québec City to dine here.
I'm so glad I got gas across the street at Shell instead of Esso, or else I wouldn't have noticed this gem. It's right after the main highway (138) turns, so do not make that turn. Go straight here. As soon as you walk in, the smell of fresh seafood abounds. The menu has a wide variety of selections, and there is even an English menu if you need. I went with whelks for an appetizer. They are prepared like escargot but they are seafood. Delicious, meaty, I literally licked the bowl clean. Hands down 5 stars.
Seafood poutine... at least a pound of seafood on top. Plus the cheese curds. Glorious excess. I've almost never had a poutine this gigantic for a price this reasonable - and then consider the topping!
5 Star value. 5 Star service. 5 Star food. That's how you do it. You simply must visit the Poissonerie here in Baie Comeau. read more
