Y'all, the pedis are heaven. They also have some darn good nail techs to take care of your full sets, shellac and dipping needs.

Stopped by for a quick pedi last year when traveling through on the way to Palm Springs. My tootsies were in need of attention. Got the deluxe, with a great massage, lotion and the whole works. Usually do a once monthly when not on the road. Just took a chance. When my regular tech removed the polish in California 4weeks later I was just sick. There was white fungus under both of my big toes. Not a lot but Fungus, can you imagine my horror. After some questioning she was so disgusted that Q nails would be so irresponsible with disinfecting that this occurred. Now after 6 months of medical treatment it is almost gone. This salon should be reported for unsanitary conditions. I have been going to the same salons in Houston and Palm Springs for 5 years and this has never never happened before. Girls be careful there, you never know if you might have to go through this expensive and disgusting experience. Dammit! read more

It's very loud in here. The curb appeal can use some help. You are greeted with two televisions on CNN news very loud competing with the music playing in front room. Not a relaxing atmosphere. It's quite noisy here. The nail pedicure turned out nice though. read more

This was definitely my worst nail salon visit. When I first walked in I requested a full set and a pedicure. The guy than instruct me to pick out which color I wanted for my nails from the selection he gave me. I picked a sheer pink. From there he went to locate the pink color. He wasn't able to find the exact color I picked so he ended up bring three other colors that were similar. I immediately noticed that he had me picking out dip powder colors. So before we started anything I asked about the price difference. The reason why I did this is because dip powder service cost more than a typical acrylic set. He goes on and try to tell me that they are exactly the same. So I'm looking at the price they have posted for a full set for $30. Ok great that's exactly what I thought it would be. He ended up charging me $40 for a full set because he said the color I picked cost more. Realize I got clear nails...... what color??? Moving on after he finished my set we moved over to get my pedicure done. My pedicure actually felt pretty good. I thought he was doing a good job. I got ready to pay and he told me my total was $85. So he charged me $40 for my full set and $45 for my pedicure. He then instructed me that he charged me for the tip. Realize I never told him how much I was planning on giving for a tip. He went ahead charged me for my service and added a tip for his self. I have never had that happen ever... the Audacity! I was so bothered by that. Not because I wasn't going to leave a tip but u telling me u gonna tell me how much I need to tip u!!!?? I normally leave a 20% tip so he ended up cheating his self out of money by already applying what he thought he earned. Once I left the salon I further investigated my nails and notice hair sealed inside my nails where he didn't clean it off. He took the tools he used during my set and cleaned them in my foot water that my feet was currently soaking in. And the bottoms of my feet doesn't even look like I just paid $45 for a pedicure. I will never go back again and I would recommend you save your money for someone who has better service and all around hygienic. Terrible place. read more

We are visiting Fort Stockton for a month, i asked a local boutique owner for a local nail salon, she referred me to Q nails. From the outside it is not what Im used to seeing, it doesn't look inviting but the parking lot was cramped and, was nervous what I was walking into. We went in and its very crowded with things two nail techs and each had a customer. There is stuff all over, i was early for my appointment and i get gel nails filled. I decided on basic black because i wasn't sure what to expect. I took my husband with me. As we sat and waited which wasn't too long, then i got the gentlemen. He asked what i wanted i said gel fill color black. I was nervous. I sat and watched him like a hawk. I get the coffin shape. I left my length the same, he sanded and shaped and brushed off and he was quick and so efficient they looked perfect even without color on. I showed my husband who said you should leave them like that! He was very impressed and so was i. They looked and felt incredible and then i decided to get the black cat eye where they use a magnet to make the lighter line. I have been getting my nails done for 18 years and I've had quite a number of shops do my nails but i stay at a place for years. Now being on the road, we move once a month rving. I give this guy a 10 easily by far the best nails I've ever had done in my life. Im gonna make sure i get them done again by him the day before we leave. He is incredible, fast, and very efficient! In my hometown, I've been have the same nail tech do my nails for over 15 years. However, I didn't have time to get my nails done, prior to leaving for vacation. I over-nighted in Fort Stockton and decided to see if I could find someone to do my nails before I left town the next morning. Q Spa & Nails was able to get me in right away and the gentleman who did my nails did a fantastic job (and I'm fussy). I would go so far as to say that it was the best manicure (fill) that I've ever had. I don't get fancy add-ons...just a basic fill but he was great. I would go again and I would definitely recommend him. The facility was clean as well. read more
