I called up Philip and we arranged a time for him to come take a look at the whip. We looked over the car and setup a time. It was a lovely autumn day (November 15th for those keeping score) Philip and his wife Jessica worked NON STOP from 11:00am till 4:00pm in the afternoon. These two work like some well-oiled German machine! I swear they never took a break. They earned it too. My poor car was a wreck. My paint was so contaminated I think it destroyed an entire Clay-bar. All those things listed get performed to the letter. I was amazed. I've run a Shop-vac on my floor mats and I can never get them as clean as they do. I have cats and not a single hair could be found. I'm not kidding, not ONE cat hair in that entire car. I think I was most amazed at how well the dashboard and interior were cleaned. It just shined like it never has before. Whatever stuff they use is top tier. It still feels fantastic at the time of this writing. Now for the bad news. After the work is done, you see the nightmare that has become your paint job. I purchased my car used, and with it not being garaged, the elements have taken their toll. My paint unfortunately suffered permanent damage and nothing can be done to fix it. This has absolutely nothing to do with the work performed. It's simply a sad truth you might have to face. Think of someone with tons of makeup caked on. Layers of foundation poured on, powders, blush, all that girly stuff. Now remove all that crap and behold all the blemishes. It's a lot like that. Still, with the onset of Winter I'm glad I got this done. It has a killer SEALENT now and I hope that will help Kelly survive another harsh Virginia winter. Last little side note. After the detailing I posted a pic on my Instagram and my 12 year old son thought I purchased a new car. That's how amazing their work is. The before and after pics were so polarizing my son thought it was a brand new car.
