Instead of the usual…read morestatic photo booth - which, don't get me wrong, is tons of fun - the 360 booth is a 360 degree photo booth. It takes a picture of your subject all around them, ending up with a short, Instagrammable, movie. Here's the deal. You stand on a stage. There's a big stick that comes out from the bottom. There's a phone on the stick. It spins around, usually twice or so over about a minute. While doing so, it's capturing video. At the end, they will airdrop the pictures to you if you're on an iPhone or they upload them to the website. I took two "rides" on the photo booth. The 360 photo session is so fun and recording last about 50 seconds. They quickly send you your video via Apple airdrop or can send you a link to all the videos after the event. I could make these little videos all night long they are so enjoyable and effortless to make. We didn't have music due to the venue but they add music to the videos and it fits perfectly. They also have options to add filters and more to the videos. At first, we were going to save money by having a DIY one, so we were really trying not to spend too much on a professional one. We specifically wanted the "glam photobooth" but we were getting discouraged by the quotes we were getting back from other companies. When we finally reached out to Charlotte Photobooth Fun, we were so grateful that Marcus was willing to work with our budget while still getting us the experience we wanted. We were actually quite shocked he was willing to work with us after seeing all the cool photobooth pictures of people from shows like One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, the Bachelor, etc! He was so easy to work with and responded to all our emails super quickly. On the day of our wedding, there was unfortunately a lot of wind that prevented the photobooth from being set up outside during our cocktail hour, but their team made sure to work with the venue to find the most ideal spot indoors and still provide the services we paid for. Since this cut down the original time by an hour (guests couldn't enter until the doors opened), Julian, our photobooth attendant, was kind enough to stay longer to make sure our photobooth was being used for the full 4 hours we paid for. He was so kind to all of our guests, and we could tell that he enjoyed being there, despite having to stay a little longer. It really makes a difference when vendors are visibly excited for you, so we really appreciated Julian. Our guests absolutely loved the B&W glam filter and complimented the timeless, classy feel to their pictures. The custom text overlay was perfect since Marcus even used the exact fonts we had been using for all our stationery. The entire experience was exactly what we wanted for our guests. We even have an online gallery we can look back at, and they made sure all the pictures were printed out for our guests. We highly recommend Charlotte Photobooth Fun and will definitely be telling all our friends about our experience!
