I currently have them repairing the sidewalk around our office. What impresses me about Jarrod and his crew is not just the quality of work, but the promptness with which they address your issues. The level of customer service with which you are provided is outstanding. Site Supervisor, Brandon Diakow and his team are mindful of tenants, go out of there way to keep work areas clean, take the time to explain to concerned tenants the work they are doing and are cognizant of the fact these are people's live/works areas. Hired Southern Roofing to do roof on both house and garage and new front and rear doors on house…read more The contractors they sent out to do the work were excellent (the only reason I did not give 0 stars) but if there is one thing I learned from having this work done is to get it in writing. First of all they dropped all the roofing supplies off about a week before they were to start, on our front lawn, the day we were leaving for vacation, you don't leave all that material on someone's front lawn and expect it to be there in a week, had to move it all into my garage. 2nd, we had asked for a new screen door for the back door and specifically asked for one as good or similar to what was on the front door which was close to top of the Anderson line, instead we got the cheapest screen door on the market, no kidding. Asked if when they did the roof could they attach the vent hose from bathroom as we had just installed a new fan, they said yes, they did not and charged us 400+ to come back and do it. Now the paint/finish is starting to peel from bottom of front door, on the outside, apparently the house was too humid for a couple of days and there is too much caulking on our windows??? Will never use them again, they do not give a rats ass about customer service.

Our insurance company only paid for a portion and offered horrible service but the owner at Southern Alberta came through like a knight in shining armour. Our roof was done quickly with little mess, (they came back and took care of any concerns I had). The fellows doing our roof were polite and careful. Later on we needed some extra work done in and around our home, again we got professional and quality work, any issues that came up were handled right away. I would suggest this smaller general contracting company for any of your needs, and they also have great experience dealing with insurance companies!
