This morning I did the exercises given to me by Elite Health along with five incline "sprints" on the treadmill, a weight workout including squats, lunges and deadlifts and walked for a total of two and a half miles. I go around 4-6 times a week now for hot yoga classes and have taken the majority of their instructors so far. I have never been disappointed by any of them. The studio is exceptionally clean all the time, supplies fully stocked in the bathroom, and instructors are friendly. Each instructor truly has their own style and will challenge you in different ways, so your best bet is to try multiple instructors and see what you like most! They have yoga mats for rental if needed, two showers, a ton of props like blocks, pads, and straps, and even a cute little store area with mugs, shirts, crystals, etc. I have tried three other yoga studios between Clinton, Davenport, and DeWitt and none have lived up to One Tree, especially in the instructor knowledge aspect. My practice has come so far in just a year because the instructors here really pay attention and assist when needed in polite ways. Almost all of them also do a really great job at describing the poses as well so it's easy to feel comfortable even if you're just beginning.
