I visited this bookstore with my 3-year-old nephew, and I was honestly shocked by the condition of the children's reading area. The space where kids sit and read was extremely dirty. There was visible grime on the table, and several of the books appeared to have dried mucus and other unsanitary residue on them. As a parent or family member bringing a young child, that's very concerning and unpleasant to see. I understand that children's areas get a lot of use and can be difficult to keep spotless, but this went far beyond normal wear and tear. It looked like the area had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. It's disappointing because the bookstore itself is nice, and we were looking forward to spending time there. I hope management pays more attention to the cleanliness of the children's section so families can feel comfortable bringing their kids. read more

This is a lovely little book store. We were immediately greeted by the woman who works here and asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for. Our daughter is an avid reader and has probably read every book in this store. I love the wall full of sticky notes suggesting a good read. read more

Wandering through the aventura mall for the first time in months, and I came across the most pleasant surprise, a real thriving fabulous book store! The staff is very knowledgeable on the books to give their recommendations. It's a very cute location next to the Apple Store, on the top floor. They have both books in English and Spanish, actually has an incredible amount of books in Spanish. The books are also the price that the publisher/author has them for so it is fair pricing, it is not up charged at all. 1000x recommend and I'm glad there is a book store back in the aventura mall! read more
