We live out of state and needed work done at our house in Columbia. The work consisted of cleaning…read moreout the gutters, fixing a ceiling fan, fixing windows, and installing a new exhaust fan. The work was completed and photos were sent to verify the same. We appreciate that the work was done and we will hire Anthony again.

STOLE MY MONEY AND NEVER CAME BACK!!!! (Heard from several people on yelp, after the fact sadly,…read morethat said the same thing happened to them. Don't walk, RUN!!!) I reached out to Mr. Walters through Yelp, as we needed significant repair to our basement due to a break in the main water line to the house. He started out strong, with doing two very minor repairs, which I thought was indicative of a person who would approach the bigger project with professionalism and skill. That could not have been further from the truth. For a $6135.53 job (insurance plus my $2500 deductible), Mr. Walters asked to break the payments into three, at the start of the job, assuring me that he wouldn't need the second or third payments until the end of the job. Then he slowly asked for the remaining two payments over the course of a week. My husband and I voiced concern about giving him all of the money before the job and he assured me that he was responsible and he would finish the work. As soon as he got that last check, he never showed up again - with excuse after excuse until finally, he just stopped returning our texts. Now my personal account it drained (because I had to pull that $2,500 out of our savings) and I have only a small portion of the work done. I have priced out the cost to finish the job, and it is $3,000, which of course, I don't have. My husband and I hoped maybe his phone was no longer working, and looked him up on casenet (long list of trouble with the law, dating back decades), and thought we would try to meet him at court, to work things out. After telling us that we were the problem (I am assuming because we expected professionalism), he said he would come by the following Monday and return our money). Never happened. Again. I trusted this guy at his word. That was my first and biggest mistake. I highly recommend that anyone who might consider using this guy to reconsider - he defrauded us and I hear he has defrauded others too!

We bought our first house less than four months ago. While we were negotiating buying the house…read morethere was a massive hail storm in town. The sellers immediately replaced the roof and gave us the contact information for the contractor incase we needed it. Fast-forward two months and a large storm revealed a leak in the roof that was causing water to drip into our kitchen. The contractor the sellers hired would not/has never responded to our calls. The seller claims they don't have their information any more. We were given the run-around by every roofing company in town because they "did not install the roof and won't fix someone else's work"...so we had nowhere to go. I called numerous contractors in town and only two answered the phone. One was S & K Roofing (who showed up, asked if they installed the roof, and abruptly walked away saying they don't fix other people's work) and the other contractor to answer was Everest Exteriors. I explained over the phone that Everest Exteriors did not install the roof but we could not get ahold of the contractor who did. They said it wasn't a problem and would send someone the next morning to look at the roof and make as many suggestions for what might be the problem as they could and how we might be able to fix them myself (if that were an option). The next day they personally showed me where they thought the issues were, explained what I could do to try and fix them (other than finding the previous contractor or hiring someone to completely redo the roof), and told me to call them if I had any more questions. I was able to make the initial fixes they recommended by myself and, sure enough, we were able to fix the initial leak and have not found any new ones since! Although we did not have Everest Exteriors work on our roof, they were extremely helpful and courteous enough to come to my house in person, climb on the roof, personally show me the problems spots, and explain what to do to fix them. Thank you Everest Exteriors!
