I had a door opener installed by Quality Garage doors about 3.5 years ago. I had an issue with the App that opens and closes the door. I had them come out and reset my opener and re program my remotes and App. About a week later the door would close and re open. The same technician came back. I was not home. He told my wife they did not install the opener ( later confirmed with the office they did ) a board was shot in the opener and it only had a 1 yr warranty. we were told parts are not available. They wanted ti install a new opener. Liftmaster said 5 yr warranty life time on motor. Another company came out, adjusted the door confirmed the warranty, and charged way less. They also told me parts are available if needed What a scam they are running at quality. Opener and door work fine now. read more

I called Alvaro for an free estimate on fixing my garage door springs. He scheduled an estimate for 1PM (12N-2PM) the next day, complete with text confirmation! At 2PM he called to say they couldn't come...blah, blah, and will reschedule for the next day, which I reluctantly agreed to (foolish me). Zach came the next day and looked at the door and gave me a quote which was over double what the installer quoted (they were very backed up and couldn't do the job for two weeks). He then said the roughly $150+ service fee (HUH???) for the estimate would be deducted. I said I wasn't paying a service fee and would call them if I decided to do the work. ALWAYS ask if there is a fee for a visit for an estimate. ALWAYS find out the average price for a similar repair. Never go to this business. Also, there's no need for "Dave K. Service tech was a full hour late, never called to say they were running late. Was charged a whopping 265.00 for less than 20 minutes work, they only adjusted the door springs, simply begged off and didn't work on the opener. Where do I begin. I would not recommend this company to anyone! I called the company to set up a quote and I was told that the technician would come between 10a-12p and he didn't show up until 2pm. They can't even make it to their own appointments on time. When they arrived they measure my door and walked out and told me that I'll have my quote by the end of the day. Well that didn't happen! 7 Days in and still now quote and I have called them EVERYDAY and I get the run around! I WOULD FIND ANOTHER GARAGE DOOR COMPANY! I don't know what is quality about them! Our first installation date was cancelled by this company because they said the opener they had for us was missing parts. They rescheduled, and on installation day, they texted me a pic of their tech and his name along with confirmation of appointment time. The tech was efficient and installed quickly leaving no mess at all. I asked the tech about the app I needed to install to operate the opener and for some guidance, but he just replied "you'll have to read the manual for that." I was disappointed in his response but that's the only complaint I have. I would have expected better customer service in walking me through the process. read more

They were suppose to arrive between 10-12 they showed up at 3:30. I installed everything except hooking up the wires and programming. I was charge $250 for a full installation so I should have done nothing. It took the guy an hour to finish my installation and install new rollers. Get your own rollers these cost $209 plus $75 in labor through them. Rollers are $25 for 12 on Amazon. In the end $40 to show up, $300 for new rollers and $250 for installation. I paid over $500 for an hours worth of work. Rip off, $300 would have been above fair! read more

without a doubt the worst service ever first call they came to repair a broken spring installed the wrong spring had to remove it and com back the next day once the spring was replaced they left went to open the door and it came off the roller they came back the next day to fix it and the next day the door did not work so they came back to make adjustments and charged me a service call i then went on vacation and when i came back the door was not working so i called them to have them fix it was given a appointment between 8am and 10 am well its 12;30 and no one is here so i called the office and was told that the manger has added an appointment before mine but never informed me so I'm sitting and waiting. if you smart I would not use these people ever again. read more

Very fast and responsive. Dave was excellent. He found the cause of my sensor issues. I also had him change the spring because it was too heavy for me to manually lift. Got a stronger spring installed in 45 minutes and now feel confident I can manage the door if the power goes out. Dave did not put any pressure for the upgrade repair and I will return to Quality if I ever need anything done in the future. So nice that Heather answered the phone on the first ring and I didn't have to leave a message or wait for a call back. They were at my door within 2 hours. Called to have my springs loosened. I offered something to drink, I put up a light for him, positioned my ladder for him and helped with the repair about 20 minutes. Then he says "They want me to charge $250." He took one turn off the springs. I did service work for 40 years and know a ripoff when I see it. Update: Just realized it was $265 ! So ,ripped for $15 more than I thought! My response to answer: So nobody reads the responses that you ask for in your email? Don't we all wish we could charge by difficulty or danger in our professions!! It belittles service people dealing with much more dangerous conditions than something with a spring! No parts, did it with ease....I thought they would have a professional tool which is safe, but he just had 2 pieces of regular "all thread" rod!! and then socked me with $265. Had a broken spring called to set up an appt and asked for as early as possible. Was told 8-10am was already filled but someone could be out between 10-12 so I took that time. I have 1 day off a week to get this handled. I waiting around all morning and finally received a call from the tech at 12:30pm who was really nice but said he wasn't going to be able to make it out until around 4pm. I said that doesn't work for me and my appt was between 10-12. He had me down between 2-4 so he had the office call me. She begs in to flat out say "I would never tell you that time" I laughed and said I wrote everything down and I wouldn't have accepted 2-4pm. Her response was "well I am human maybe I made a mistake, I can have him there in 15 mins" I just got off the phone with the tech and he told me 4pm. They had no idea what was going on so I called A-Tech after she basically with a smartass attitude hung up on me. They came out today at 8:30am right on time and was done in 30 mins for $170. Technician arrived and told us they didn't work on geenie openers. He suggested a new opener that would cost approx $400. (Our opener was brand new and the chain came off the track which we think shorted the circut board). Once confronted with the yellow page ad that shows they work on geenie and states "all brands repaired" he then backtracked and said well we do work on them but why repair it when for $200 more you can have a new one. That should have been our decision to make! We then decided to move forward with the repair when he went to his truck and came back to tell us they had no circut boards in stock and to order one would be a 30 day wait. How convenient!
