Calling this place a dump would be an insult to actual dumps. We booked a weekend stay based on the numerous glowing reviews--reviews I now strongly suspect are fabricated--and the fact that it is listed as part of Choice Hotels. We were assigned Room 108, which was tired, shabby, and long overdue for serious updating. The room was a patchwork of half-finished repairs to the walls, ceiling, and shower, none of them done well. There was a gap between the door and the frame so large that I could literally see my car parked outside through it. The towels were paper-thin, and the walls offered just as little insulation. Several "interesting" individuals loitered around our room throughout the stay, and the smell of marijuana was constant. When the ice machine didn't work, I went to the office to ask where I could get ice, only to be told they were simply "out of ice for the day." The so-called "free breakfast" was laughable: two communal cereal containers, a few slices of white bread, and an old waffle maker. That was it. Thankfully, we only had to endure this disaster for two nights. I would choose sleeping in a tent before ever staying at this property again. read more

Lots of things could be better with this hotel. First, through the Choice website, this room with taxes was $160.00/night. Outrageous for this old hotel. Second, hardly any water pressure on the second floor, and tepid water. Also, the shower door would not stay closed. There was a microwave, but it was not plugged in, and there was no outlet for it behind the cabinet. They allowed a tractor trailer to park in the main lot, and he ran his very-loud refrigerator unit till about 400am, when he finally left. The windows in my room were vibrating from the loud noise. WTF. Lastly, not everyone there is a right wing Republican. The maintenance guy in the breakfast room should keep his personal political opinions to himself. And, put a less skewed TV news channel on. There's more, but that's enough to provide a bad experience for me. read more

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would my family and I stayed here on September 15, 2023 and we found a bedbug in our bed. There was residue on our sheets there was dirt all over the wall. My family and I were displaced because of Hurricane Helene. We had to piece together hotels since everyone was booked in the Columbia area. The day we were supposed to check in, I received word that my power was back on. I asked the front desk if we could cancel the reservation. She said to contact reservation line. The reservation line could not perform the refund; they needed the hotel owner, DP Patel, to allow the refund. I ended up having to go through my credit card but the owner refused to refund me. I'm not opposed to paying a cancellation fee, but keeping the entire $700 for a stay I never used is outrageous! You have to be a greedy individual with no heart to behave like this. Pathetic! PS. Good luck ever trying to reach Patel. According to the "front desk", she always claims he is "unavailable", it is unknown when he will return, and he has no schedule. When asked when I should expect a phone call back, she couldn't give me a timeframe. read more

When we arrived the front desk lady was ok but not pleasant. Our first complaint was that the door to the room would not close unless you hip checked it. When we called and told the office she really did not care. Then after pulling the sheets back we found stains and human hair all over the sheets. When I opened the bed side table I found a cup with some sort of unknown liquid. When I went to the office to tell them we were leaving she informed us that we would be charged for the first night because we were in the room for an hour. My boyfriend and I stayed here because his friend recommended it for the two nights we stayed. The check in was fine, and the room wasn't bad had a few burn marks on the beds and also had an overall Smokey scent plus a weird smell in the bedroom. The room was marked as a non-smoking room. This morning a little after 9:00am we were still in bed and we got a knock at the door and when he got up to see who it was, a lady started to open up the locked door but the secondary lock stopped her from barging in. It was the cleaning lady ready to clean our room and thought we already had left. We quickly got ready and all packed up and was out of the room by 9:30am even thought check out was at 11am. We just wanted to sleep in a little longer before our check out time. That was not a fun thing to start our morning with a worker trying to get into our room. We stayed in room 205. read more

Stayed here one night of a planned 4 nights and had to check out early. The room stunk like cleaning products, burning our noses all night. There is dog feces everywhere on the property. There was hair and other items on the floor of the bathroom that had not been cleaned. read more

Stayed here so we could travel into Georgia for the Masters. The distance was good and price was decent. This place was what I want when I am staying at a hotel/motel. Quiet and Clean. AVOID this disgusting hotel with aggressively rude staff. even the lobby is gross, stained chairs, dirty bathroom. I booked a nonsmoking room but the room reeked of smoke. the front desk clerk said smoking and nonsmoking rooms were next to each other so they all smelled. I returned the key cards and left a note asking manager to contact me. I've been calling for 3 days and when someone does actually answer they claim the manager is out of town for 3 weeks. I was charged $104. I spoke with one nice woman yesterday, but both other front desk clerks (Malik and Thai) are shockingly unprofessional. Manager Mr Patel doesn't even have the courtesy to return a phone call. it was a horrible experience from beginning to end. Choice Hotels should be ashamed to have this dump associated with their brand. read more

This hotel was nothing like the photos. The lobby was vacant and there was no one behind the desk when I arrived to check me in. I paid extra for a non-smoking room that smelled exactly like a smoking room. There was a $100 incidentals deposit that was not reported when I booked the room online. The room was clean but there were holes in the comforter and it was dusty. The door handle in the bathroom was broken. There was no parking on the backside of the hotel. Inconvenient when traveling with a sports team. Overall, I'd recommend staying somewhere else. read more

This is our go to place to stay with every trip to the Lexington area. Always clean, affordable rates, and our pets are welcome. They have been very Covid safe this past year. Within easy walking distance to McDonald's, Walgreens, Gas station/store, and a Mediterranean restaurant is across the street. Handicap accessible rooms. We have never had any issues with other guests being loud or inconsiderate. Breakfast is available. read more

Only one con - the beds were very squeaky and mattress needed to be changed bc it had a middle fall in. Bed was still comfortable. The room was very clean and breakfast was perfect. Definite stay again. We requested a roll away bed and they did not have sheets for bed. We used bed covers and it worked out. They ended up not charging us bc of that. Really nice staff. read more

Left ramada inn near I-20 in Lexington because of horrible room conditions to arrive at this inn. They accepted us warmly and gave us a room that was newly renovated. Although renovations were finishing throughout the first two days, the staff made our stay very comfortable. The kids love the warm breakfast with sausages, eggs, biscuits, donuts, and more. As the entire inn was being renovated, the extremely friendly manager allowed us to visit the pool across the street at their beautiful sister hotel, Comfort Suites. If future guests can be as responsible and kind as the staff, this newly remodeled inn can stay a clean family establishment for years to come. 4 stars only because a few small touches are still being attended to. read more

After having a bad experience at the Ramada Limited my family called this hotel to switch our week long stay. The staff at Quality Inn took my family in with warm arms. Everyone was very friendly. When we arrived the rooms were getting completely remodeled. New carpet, furniture, linen, and towels. Beautiful picture and reception on the tv. Wifi worked well. Pool was great! Breakfast was pretty good also. They had so many hot and cold items to choose from. Price is great and I would definitely stay here again. We even stayed an extra night! The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I wish the shower had a little more water pressure. read more

I posted quite a long review on Google of this hotel. This place is not as $$ as other places. However, do not let the price fool you or think this place is less then..no way! Clean. Friendly staff. No bed bugs...YES, IM THAT TYPE OF OCD person. The staff were extremely accommodating, professional and friendly. Pool was checked for proper chemical levels. I notice everything;) Breakfast was !! The main people I engaged with were extremely polite. It wasn't a friendly environment because it had to be. It WAS friendly because the people who work there are genuine. I stayed in room 206 Monday and checked out Thursday. Went swimming on the only day it did not rain or have overcast (wed may 30th). Just a really positive experience. The view was nothing to behold. But the area was safe and close to a lot!!! read more

This was the worst experience that I have ever had at a hotel. This hotel does not have good customer service. After paying for my hotel on priceline.com, three weeks in advance, they tried to up the price on my room when I checked-in. Even with my receipt from online they still tried to say that the room rate has to increase. This hotel has no quality, later that night, I found bugs in my bed. This is just a motel pretending to be a hotel. I was not able to get any sleep because I was too scared that I was going to wake up to more bugs the next day.I had to sleep in the chair so that I could get some sleep. WORST hotel stay I've experienced. This place has Absolutely terrible air conditioning. Even The staff was loud. At 1 am I had an ignorant lady BANGING so loud on my door it not only woke me up but the other guests in the rooms beside me. I would recommend any other hotel besides this one.
