It was a difficult job because the existing concrete driveway had a 3" asphalt cap on top of it which first had to be torn out and taken to a separate processing facility. Steve personally came out to give me a quote and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and the best way to accomplish it. The price was great and we knew about the quality of his work on other projects, so we chose Steve's Construction for the job. The next part is; WOW! The communication, the scheduling, showing up on-time, staying on budget..., Everything was perfect! And what a team!! The whole process from start to finish took only 3 days. Those guys worked their butts off, constantly, from swinging a sledgehammer to using a jackhammer, then pouring into perfectly formed molds to create a masterpiece that is now my new driveway and walks. It caused way more problems then intended, and instead of the original planned 3 hours, they spent 8 to make sure everything got done to satisfaction without charging any extra for my driveway taking 3x longer than expected. We expected to have to replace much/all of the driveway, but when Art came out he said he could make it level like a new driveway, and his team did. They were very courteous, and even apologized for staying until 10pm! If I ever have any more mudjacking or concrete repair needs, I will definitely be calling Ace Mudjacking.

I had called on a Sunday for a price and then went there because it showed they were open online…read more When I got there, no cars were there and the doors were locked so I called the Mulch-2U number. I wanted 2yds of triple shredded hardwood. The owner answered and then showed up and told me my mulch is free because he miscommunicated and he stated the website wasn't updated. I only asked for 2yds but I'm sure he loaded me up more. He was a really nice guy. I'll only go here from now on because of this experience. It's good to know respectable and friendly people still exist. To add, he gave my son a little flashlight and let him check out his "digger."
