Don't get your taxes done at the Niles office. The gentleman who did my state tax preparation…read moremessed it up horribly. He was totally clueless about state preparation. Filed me as a blind veteran (I am not) and did not include my Indiana taxes on the form. When I contacted the office the next day when I realized the mistake (not my job... that is why I paid there extremely high prices), I was told that I would have to come back in and file an amendment since they had already be sent to state of MI. Which was not true because I received notification that the state received my taxes a week later. I had to wait until received my refund from the state (for 10% of what should have been my refund mind you). So I went back in March and wasted another 1 1/2 or my time to file and then mail my amendment. I just checked the website and since there was an amendment I have been flagged and will have to wait until 11/13/18 for the state to send me the other 90% of my refund. So unless you want to wait 10 months for your refund I would not go to the H & R Block office in Niles, MI. I know I will not use them or go to an H&R Block office anywhere again after talking to their customer service line that has me talking to the office again for what purpose I don't know cause the state is not going to do anything until November.

Who ever does my return next year, will only be paid half price until both the federal, and state return has been verified they were done correctly, and deposited are made.
