We hired them to do our wedding and they were kind of pretty awesome to agree to come to Pennsylvania to help us with our wedding. My wife always finds their hair dying services exceptional for when she feels she wants a change of color. Compared to pricing I am used to seeing for the same haircut I have gotten at other places, this business has very good pricing. Part of the reason we are sad to be moving away from the area is that we will no longer be able to come here often.

I have visited here before in order to transition from relaxer to natural and I loved the outcome and the results lasted about two weeks. My most recent visits have been just as good. I am in the seat, getting my hair washed almost immediately and the wash is phenomenal. Feels so good and you can rest easy knowing that you are getting a deep clean. You are always given the option to rinse out the deep condition immediately or sit under the dryer for a deeper moisturizer. The ladies here care about your hair and use heat protectant before applying the blow dryer and flat iron. The finishing touch serums are high end products which is nice because you're only paying $45 for the blow out service:) Now, I will add that a blow out isn't ever going to be the most pleasant. It does hurt in most cases especially of you have hair like mine that needs some extra love to straighten out but distract yourself with a good book or write your review on Yelp like I currently am to take your mind off of the blazing blow dryer lol

Shop is very clean, and doesn't reek of the many chemicals used in salons. The owner Charlene Blow, elected to do my hair. She was amazingly light handed and had no qualms about having to color process my hair three times to get it the healthy looking same shade all over that it now is. Charlene has a saint like level of patience for tedious procedures, I was in her chairs for about 3 hours, and that was with her moving about non-stop. This shop has some faithful regular loyal clientele that gets service worth their loyalty, as I saw several come in and get greeted on a first name basis. The friendliness of the staff, their capability to handle hair of all ethnicity, and my pleasure with the end results will have me returning here again. I've never been one to include going to the hairdressers as "fun" or "enjoyable", but I have seen…read morethe light - and maybe that's because Carol is just the most incredible person ever who actually understands how to cut curly hair. She greeted me at the door and was very open with how the salon is ensuring customer safety with Covid precautions - everyone wears masks, everything is sanitized after every customer, right down to the pen you sign your receipt with. This made me feel super at ease to sit in the chair and relax; I had no worries throughout my time there. I'm used to paying $60-70 for a haircut and having to drive over an hour to my usual hairdresser (who is also an incredible curl cutter). I never get my hair shampooed before it's cut - a dry cut works best on my curls, so not only was I amazed that it was half the price of what I'm used to paying, I'm elated I can actually afford to come back every two months and keep up with getting rid of my split ends! You won't miss the salon once you turn into Cock & Bull lane and turn into the Triad Complex, Mane Event is the last shop in the corner and there's parking right outside the front door. I would like to go to a salon though occasionally for a retwist but not them. They don't even have sinks to wash your hair. I've been going to hair salons for 55 years and have never seen that. I asked for a shape up on my neck hair once and the lady didn't even have any clippers. Wth? Then the other thing I hated was the owner won't let anyone but her answer the phone and she assigns you to an operator. So if you like someone you can't call them directly, that really sucks. You can't build a relationship with your stylist cause you don't have the same one, they are always quitting or being late. You go there sometimes and they act like you didn't have an appointment.
