I hired quality touch to re furnish my kitchen in 2021. Overall, the quality of the painting was excellent. My kitchen in featured in the pictures above and looks great. The quality of the paint is good. As the name suggests they are great at painting. However, other issues within the project were extremely frustrating and I would personally never hire him again and would caution friends to look elsewhere. One issue was timing. It was supposed to be completed in 7-10 days but ended up taking 26 days. There were also things that were promised during the planning stages, but never delivered and there was no apology. For example, I was supposed to get a garbage drawer that was 2 bins deep for trash and recycling. I came one one day an a single bin drawer was installed. He just stated the double drawer he had didn't fit so he installed a single one. No discussion of other options. It seems like a small thing, but there were about 5 of those small things and I started to feel like he was gaslighting me. I didn't know when I was supposed to speak up about my choices and it was uncomfortable and tense. There is one panel that he installed that is still wobbly. He came back once to re glue it but it came off later that day. It bothers me every time I see it. The wrong color grout was also used. He promised me 6 months ago that someone would come to stain and seal it but I never heard from that person. Someone on his team broke our oven door while working. They replaced it (although I had no oven for Christmas) but Quincy never apologized for the inconvenience. Lastly, our refrigerator was a very tight fit after they modified our cabinets. Our power went out recently so we wanted to plug the fridge into the generator. We could not budge it. Guess who never returned my email? Quality touch painting. So yes the cabinets on either side of the fridge are beautiful. But we can't move our fridge and quality touch painting doesn't care about that at all. That anecdote actually really sums up this company. Best of luck to you in your project! If it's only painting, look no further. Anything else? Keep searching. read more

We had QTP remove a lot of wall paper from our great room. I usually do this but this wallpaper was very difficult to remove. They came in and in two days had it all off without damage. Then they painted the whole area in an oil base undercoat to nullify any left over paste problems. Then they painted the whole thing in two coats using a very nice quality paint. Every small nick or scratch from before was patched and fixed. Two very competent painters, good advice and they respected our home. It really has that new home look, just beautiful. The actual install time was impressive -- a two-man crew completed my 288 feet of gutters in one day, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me frustrated. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent. My sales rep was late to the estimate appointment with the schedule that kept getting pushed back. While he did offer a discount for the inconvenience, the pricing was still higher than other quotes I received, but I chose this company because I trusted the professionalism and quality they advertised. The finished product had several details that felt rushed or poorly thought out. Some downspouts looked awkward and out of place, extending over sidewalks or into flower beds in ways that didn't seem properly planned. To the crew's credit, when I pointed issues out they did make adjustments, but I felt like I had to constantly micromanage the project to get things corrected instead of things being done right the first time. One of my biggest frustrations was the lack of communication during the install. Decisions were made on parts of the project that were never discussed with me beforehand. I did speak with the sales rep afterward about my concerns, but getting clear answers and resolutions felt like pulling teeth. There also was never any final walkthrough after completion. I found metal scraps and debris throughout my driveway and yard afterward, which was disappointing and could have caused damage or injury if I hadn't cleaned it up myself with a magnet. Overall, the gutters function, and there were parts of the experience that were positive, but for the price paid and the reputation of the company, I expected much better communication, attention to detail, and professionalism from start to finish.

It made a huge difference and we're very pleased to have done it, although it was not cheap. I signed off on the job on a snowy day in the late fall. When Spring arrived and I spent more time outside I saw that some of the "scars" from the old railing were more obvious than I had realized and would need to be taken care of. As I pondered the idea of hiring someone to do it, and whom, I couldn't help but wonder if Montell should have done it. So I sent an email to Montell, with photos, asking if they considered this a finished job. I expected to have a polite conversation about it. Instead, the "owner" responded, indicating that I should have had it in the contract for them to do that. Rather than Montell, I was apparently expected to be the one thinking ahead and realizing there would be scars to be dealt with. He accused me of being "so wrong and demanding" but offered me $250 to cover the cost. I declined. I wasn't out to demand anything and was extremely put off by the attitude of his response and the exchange we had. Up to that point I would have happily referred Montell to friends and neighbors, and to discuss another project for us. Certainly not now.

The fact that I have spoken to the guy who came out to give me a quote via text, email, and phone now and we don't even have a contract signed with them just shows me that when I'm ready, they will be ready to tackle the job and work with me.

We hope sharing our experience can help others avoid a similar horrible experience. We thought we had done our research after getting Lifetime Home Products' information from a local lumber supply, reading reviews online etc. We could not have been more wrong - the deeper we dug after starting to have red flags pop up, the more concerned we became and unfortunately, those concerns are our reality now. We have been informed of more and more people that have had similar issues and are also living this nightmare - a search through LARA's (Michigan department of licensing and regulatory affairs) website at past complaints, licensing, etc is very eye opening and we highly encourage everyone do that before hiring Lifetime Home Products and anyone working with them. Consider researching online, and calling around, and looking at LARA, not just Lifetime Home Products, but also Lifetime Home Products LLC, Trace (Tracy) Antcliff and Anthony Rainko. Anthony Rainko is supposed to be the managing member of the company per our contract and whose license is attached to the company and used....never once did we see, work with, or interact with him for our project. Through all the review sites you can as well through the formal Michigan licensing site - LARA (sure wish we knew about that site before we began this nightmare!). We hope you do not do what we did and write off the bad reviews as a few bad apples. We kept telling ourselves over the course of the project that Trace and the crew would resolve the raised issues along the way and meet our expectations as well as industry standards. We were underwhelmed as the "punch list" (incomplete/unsatisfactory items) seemed to be ever growing instead of shrinking, and left with an incomplete project with code violations and poor workmanship. Highlights (if you can call them highlights) from our experience are below. Through the course of our project, we had 2 liens placed against our home. The first lien was from Trace not paying a supplier. While it did eventually get removed, this was only after Trace lying to us telling us it had been paid despite the supplier verifying with us numerous times it had not been paid and us following up daily after learning of these lies to ensure it was paid. The second lien, from one of the subcontractors on the projects is still unresolved. This is despite Trace telling us both verbally and in writing it would be paid and removed. To our dismay and consternation, this was also paired with a formal complaint via LARA against Trace by that subcontractor. Trace not paying these suppliers/subs was despite getting a large deposit from us, and weekly payments from us through the course of the project all either on or before dates agreed. In addition, multiple times Trace informed us of subs quitting or being fired (drywallers, painter, electrician, HVAC subcontractor, general workers, and the one that was most alarming to us, just before work began, the person that was supposed to be our project lead and main contact vs Trace, was instead going to be launching a restaurant). It was not a good feeling to be kicking off and mid-project and not having a stable, consistent crew to complete it. As the project neared what we hoped was completion, Trace then tried to add close to $10K to the final payment amount. This is after he tried to bully us into making the final payment on the project without final inspections being passed, a lien still against our home, the project incomplete, and incomplete multi-page "punch list". Despite explicitly telling us that any changes would be handled via a change order so there was no confusion (per the contract), a paper trail and having a full project bid, we were asked multiple times in the project for additional funds to cover "overages" by subcontractors after work was completed and no change order was presented for why this would all of a sudden cost more than the scoped work and bid. In our life experiences, contracts are meant to protect both parties of a project - unfortunately, in our experience with Lifetime Home Products, Trace does not follow his own contract. This has led to headaches and thousands in legal fees for us as we have worked to untangle this mess. Our nightmare has only continued since Trace told us the project was complete when it wasn't anywhere near finished and still isn't.

I've had to contact the office several times. Their communication has been the worst I've ever dealt with. The main points of my review are: 1. The manufacturer of the windows made the sashes too small 2. The rep came to measure again. Ordered new sashes to replace too small ones. 3. 9/5 (2 months after install) the rep comes to install the new sashes and discovers his measurements were off and now the sashes are too BIG. Orders more, but completely forgot two top sashes. Now we have a couple sashes that are so tight, we can barely open the bottom of our windows. 4. I filed with BBB since once again communicating with the manager of WW is basically non existent. I'm left in the dark as to when new sashes are coming and will they fit this time? 5. I also contacted corporate office of WW 3 times. Twice called and left a message, once emailed to see if I can get any information on when install might be happening. NOT ONE REPLY BACK. 6. After BBB got involved, the manager at WW finally got someone else to order all new windows--although I'm not certain why because no one came back to make sure measurements were correct this time...& I asked questions regarding time frame of when new windows would come. No reply again. This has been the most frustrating experience of my life. After how many times this company messed up on the window measurements, showed up late or not at all, treated me poorly because I'm not happy with the work they did--& they can't even give me a time frame. I also requested they stop my payments as the job isn't finished yet & they still haven't done that. I would never recommend we to anyone. What a nightmare that is still continuing after three months!
