I'm sure they do great work but the quote we got was 2-3x as much as 3 other local companies for the same work. Rip off.

I had a 120 foot tall ponderosa that was 8 feet from my house and had to be removed because it was diseased. I got a quote from another arborist, and they wanted $800 more than Quality Tree. Quality Tree was amazing. They sent out 4 guys who climbed to the top, set up a zip line, and ran the branches down the zip line so they wouldn't hit the house. Then they cut the tree down in sections as they climbed back down. It was worth the money just for the entertainment value alone. The guys were extremely professional and friendly. Quality Tree Service did an amazing job on my apple tree and maple tree!! I purchased my home as a foreclosure and it had sat vacant for many years- the trees were very overgrown and in bad shape. When I called I got an appointment for a bid quickly. They were booked three weeks out so I had to wait but was OK with that as I had to coordinate with my neighbor because some of the large tree limbs I needed removed hung over our fence and his property. On the appointed day nobody showed so, at about 3:00 I called to see what was up and was told by the woman who answered that she'd find out and call me back. At about 4:00 I'd not got a call so was about to call back when their truck pulled up. Unfortunately, within about twenty minutes of arrival the crew of two said they didn't have enough time to do the job and we'd have to reschedule. They promised somebody would call me first thing on Monday (the appointed day was a Friday) and that I'd be their "priority job". They open at 7:00 a.m. but I figured I'd give them until 9:00 to call as they might not want to call too early. Anyway, nobody called and so at 10:00 I called and was again told by the woman who answered that she didn't know but would find out. I was unhappy and told her that I wasn't going to spend another day waiting around and that if they couldn't get back to me before noon I'd have to call somebody else. About an hour later I got a call saying that they'd have a crew out on Tuesday morning first thing and that they were sorry. I accepted those terms. Sure enough, the crew arrived on Tuesday at 8:00, apologized for what had happened, and did a very good job. The branches I needed pruning hung out over landscaping, fences, and a roof. They were able to remove all without any damage and they cut the big pieces into firewood lengths for me. Cleanup on my property and my neighbor's property was top notch. So, while I was unhappy with their initial performance I have to say that in the end they were honestly (I believe) apologetic and did a very good job and I give them credit for that. I'd used them before and was happy with that job which is why I called them this time. I'd recommend them and use them again. read more

Giving them a low score solely on how rude one of the workers, working on neighbor's tree was. The tree did need trimming i had no issues with that at all. However Upon getting ready to leave the 'gentleman ' was blowing of the neighbor's driveway into my side yard next to my MH. When i asked him to not do this again, i was ignored, when i mentioned it was rude one worker said to the other, 'we were told not to listen to her'. I had not said anything prior so not sure where this came from. But felt the need to submit this. This is the first negative yelp rating i have submitted i usually just submit positive to help out businesses. read more

I can't say enough good things about the work we had done by this company. We had a pretty big job done, trees to cut down, and a lot of major trimming and clearing. Over the years we've used several local companies for tree work, and they rarely kept their promise about what to expect the day the work was to be done. Quality did everything they said they would do. There was a supervisor visiting so everyone knew what needed to be cut and/or trimmed, they were careful about not disturbing plants in the yard, they had proper safety equipment, and the crew were skilled in their work. The supervisor checked over the work to make sure everything was done properly. The crew was so pleasant, and they cleaned up all the debris from the work. read more

Not very happy with the service.. Needed to have a VERY large pile of Small Tree limbs from Property Cleanup. The gentleman came out and gave me a Bid of $900 dollars to come in with a chipper and Chip and haul away chips. He said he would put an ad on Craigslist and someone would want to take the chips off his hands. I waited 3 weeks for them to do the job as they were very busy. Workers came on Site and asked where To dump the Chips when done. I told them their boss agreed to take the chips away and they said no problem he would call the boss. The workers looked at the pile and said ok and started chipping. An hour later the Worker came to the door and asked that we call the boss. I called the boss and he stated the workers said there was a little bit of fence wire in the pile and didn't want to complete the job. he (the boss) then said they were going to have to leave and there would be no charge for the hour that they had already completed. I was like "are you serious" and he said yes for $900 they couldn't take the time. Well I said ok and they left. I went out to the pile and did not see even ONE piece of wire .. however my wife who stacked it said she believed there was one small piece (rolled up) that she "believed" was somewhere in there and she told them about it. It is now my belief that they probably had another job afterwards that they needed the room in the truck and the boss forgot to put an ad on Craigslist to dispose of them and he just said forget it. I do appreciate the fact that at least I got 1/3 of the job done for free but here I am 3 weeks later and still have my pile of small tree limbs. I had a connection with Dan who came out and gave me an estimate and then with Joseph and crew who actually came and trimmed the big old oak tree in our back.
