I was worried about judgment or anger from the office, but they have been nothing but lovely to me! They helped me work up a plan on everything that needs to be done and plan out how we would approach it all. I'm only partway through everything, but I felt the need to write a review. Dr. Tran is the best dentist I've been to! He was able to perform an extraction in office without needing to send me out to an oral surgeon. The filings were quick and easy, and he did a great job on my root canal! I've been to several dentists before that have struggled with addressing issues with my teeth. It is partly why it has been so long since my last visit. But, Dr. Tran has been professional, helpful, laid out a clear plan, and has made it seem easy fixing my teeth each step of the way! The office has been very helpful running my insurance, updating me on where things stand, and giving me estimates for what everything will cost so that I am not surprised by the costs. And, costs have been about 15-20% cheaper than what I was expecting based on my experiences with other dentists. I don't know if that is just the office or a function of my dental insurance though. I have been very, very happy with my entire experience at this dentist's office. Would definitely recommend to everyone!!!

He was more concerned with putting her on antibiotics than trying to sell her a treatment plan. He completed her root canal. His prices were more than fair and made it very affordable for my sister. We're so thankful for his compassionate services. My sister, who is autistic, hates going to the dentist like most folks, but the care at YK dental is topnotch. Dr. Kim and his staff are detailed oriented and take time to specifically communicate what is happening, when it's going to happen, how it may feel and what to do if you feel uncomfortable. Dr. Kim will find time to squeeze you in. I can literally go on and on. It meant a lot to me when he explained every step and what to expect to her. Dr. Kim took his time and treated her with value, respect and dignity. Dr. Kim also has this incredible, affordable plan, where you get 2 cleanings, x-rays, and almost 50 percent off certain procedures for about $200/annual. Says a lot about him and his clinic to have this option for people who are uninsured. He's a gem - compassionate, affordable, and graduate of top dental program in the country. In all, Dr Kim is an amazing dentist and the most caring doctor our family has ever met, he takes his work seriously and is so passionate. Definitely one of the best and cleanest dental offices I have ever been to date. Dr. Kim and his team are incredibly friendly, courteous, respectful, and informative. The visits are fantastic. After the office changed its schedule and sent me home early, I respectfully explained that I had committed my entire day to the scheduled shift. In front of the entire staff, Dr. Mika Barlow raised her voice and repeatedly challenged me, saying, "You are an independent contractor prove where I told you that you were working these hours. Show me." The situation was extremely uncomfortable and humiliating, especially being addressed this way publicly in a medical office. My only response was, "I will not accept being treated this way," and I left. I expected a much higher level of respect, professionalism, maturity, and communication from someone with Dr. Mika's years of education and professional experience. Unfortunately, my personal experience was the complete opposite. Experience should be reflected not only in clinical knowledge, but also in how you communicate with and treat the professionals who work alongside you. Based on my experience, I would rate her professionalism and communication 0/10.

Prestige Dental Specialists staff is very professional and courteous. Any person I was in contact with was helpful, informative, and pleasant. The office is clean and attractive. The procedure went well and the details were very descriptive on how to take proper care after the procedure. For the price you pay, it does feel better knowing that all areas of the steps were thorough. I would definitely recommend this business and encourage you to ask all questions on your mind when you are doing your consultation. How much, what side effects, what ifs, etc., so that you can feel at ease. The before and after look great so I hope that it stays that way which obviously falls on me and how my care is with my dental hygiene.

Type of care (5/5): I was referred to Prestige by my local dentist and I was not disappointed. I had a massive toothache which was not resolving and came here on a snowy day. After a comprehensive exam and x-ray, I was told I had to have a complete tooth extraction (the entire root was corroded so a root canal was not possible. ) Fortunately, Dr. Eddie had a cancellation due to the snow, so he was able to get my tooth pulled that day! I opted for the nitrous gas because I have a bit of anxiety around teeth stuff and my teeth are extra sensitive. I was hoping I could sleep but the gas really just made me happy and less nervous. The extraction went well and then the series of appointments to check on the site, then the hole to be drilled to place the implant. I was not ready for the drill, but the nitrous gas helped! Care quality (5/5): Every time I've been there, I feel like they have been attentive and caring towards me. Even when I had to be called back for another scan, they gave me a cute complimentary mug because they felt badly about this. My one year check up for my implant went well. I'm really satisfied with my care here. Office experience (5/5): They were really nice here. I was explained my bill throughly. I was a bit annoyed that I had to pay $150 for the mandatory one year visit because I no longer had my dental insurance but that wasn't necessarily their fault.

If something feels high pressure or counter to the information you know, get a second opinion. You are not obligated to do things immediately especially if it's not a matter of life or death. Additionally, whether you are paying with insurance and/or out-of-pocket, I would suggest getting and setting expectations up front and retaining documentation. Talk to your insurance as well to come prepared with options. If you don't, it might cost you. You've been warned. Caveat emptor.

The receptionist answered "Dr. Fisher's office." I could not get an immediate appointment. My wife got on the phone and managed to get squeezed on Friday, two days away. I went back with my wife and the assistant took an x-ray. After the x-ray, a strange guy comes in and tells us he is the new dentist, that Dr. Fisher has retired! (Dr. Hwang) Neither my wife nor I had received any correspondance from the office telling us this. He told my wife that she needed a crown and gum work for $3,000.00. The visit cost us $255.00 They did not plan to give us any credit if the work was done. We thought about letting him do it but we were suspicioius. We did not recognize any of the staff there and were upset by this bait and switch tactic. They never told us beforehand that Fisher had retired. The same day my wife managed to go see a prostadontist, Dr. Obeid in Chevy Chase, MD who is very skilled. He has a very modern office with state of the art equipment. He told my wife that she just needed on onlay....no gum surgery. He would charge $3000 and credit us for the visit and the x-ray. It was possible that the cavity would be more extensive and she could lose the tooth. But that is not what happened. Obeid successfully spared her tooth and did the onlay! It is far better to do an onlay as opposed to removing most of the tooth for a crown. I think this review speaks for itself. It appeared to us that all of Dr. Fisher's staff were no longer there.
