I took my car with all its problems to Motor Marque and they did confirm that some of the problems did indeed need taking care but others were not necessary. This garage just seems to tell it like it is, I recently took my car in the a slight clicking noise while manoeuvring and was told that the problem would either cost me £110 to repair or £20 for the half hour it took to look it over. They told me that the problem could wait at least till my next MOT and maybe longer depending on how much i drive. Every time I've taken my car here it's come back sparky clean, it's valeted as far as i can tell no matter what they do. The pricing is pretty standard for a non dealer garage about £55 an hour, maybe a little more than a back street garage but not much. I keep going back so I'm speaking with my wallet.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming; they are helpful and have a high standard of customer care. They kept me informed of all the stages of the repair. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and definitely not condescending to the female species. They have a really comfortable seating area if you need to wait with refreshments available. I have AA car warranty policy and they were more than accommodative to deal with the paper work. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

Champion Auto Care were the only garage that were open all day AND said they would be able to source and fit the part that day. The manager also recommended a chap with a recovery van who could take us across town to his garage for a very competitive fee (we couldn't even bump start the car as the battery had nothing at all). When asked what is the point of appointment then ? the manager said "I don't have time for this" and walked away. Don't bother with these people! Look elsewhere.

I figured I'd give them a go and Chris managed to fit me in for a full service and MOT at short notice (and on a weekend too... amazing!) so 8am on the Saturday morning I set off... Carwurx is hidden away off kirkstall road behind Kwik Fit so you wouldn't really notice it if you weren't looking but once you're on Washington street it is easy to find as you just follow the road round. Chris quoted me a good £40-60 less than the other garages so (given my past experiences at the likes of Kwik Fit) I was expecting to turn up and find a load of extra charges on top of that or a long list of work that had to be done... But no! I was pleasantly surprised to be mistaken. I was only charged the amount quoted, all work done well and although I need my brake pads replacing at some point there was absolutely no pressure to have it done there and then and I got a quote for the work if I chose to have it done by Carwurx... which I probably will! Great service, great people, great price!... I think I've found my new garage :-)

Although they were busy (they are always busy so that must say a lot) they diagnosed and fixed my problem, even though busy, because they knew it needed fixing there and then. My daughter and husband went to school with the owner Chris so I feel I/We have a lot of trust in this garage and not get ripped off as does happen at dealerships. Even after having a warranty the dealership always said something needed doing which meant at the end of the day I usually was paying for the service/mot which was supposed to be included as part and parcel of the package I bought.
