The park overall was nice and the bathrooms were well kept, but they failed to mention on their…read morewebsite that the lagoon shown was a sewage lagoon :/ We reserved a tent site (T9) and the location would've been perfect without the abundance of gnats and flies that were gathered because of the sewage lagoon. The creek was fun, had a great temperature, wasn't too deep so the kids could play, and there was no trash left anywhere. They also offer firewood and deliver it to your site for $20, which was really convenient. I can't remember his name, but the park manager who delivers the wood and oversees the park was really nice! He was really personable and does a fantastic job keeping up the place. You can also fish in the ponds and there is quite the variety in them. There are Blue Gill, Sun Fish, Catfish, and a few others that I can't remember lol. Make sure to watch out for snakes. We found a Western Fox Snake basking on the stone steps that lead into the creek. He was about 4' long, but since they're not super aggressive, I picked him up and moved him to the other side of the creek just to make sure the kids didn't step on him. I'm not sure if there are other types in the area.
