The caravan had everything you need for a relaxing break. and everything in the van was clean and tidy, James and Emma have taken over the running of the site, and were on hand if any problems. Outside you get a parking space and a picnic table and a large free area in front of the van. overall the site is beautiful, peaceful and very quiet, possible not the best place if you are looking for an all action site!. and the sound of the nature at night. 10/10 will be back again

The Site is located close to a quiet residential area, there are frequent local buses into town if you dont fancy the walk, so you dont need to rely on the car all the time. The Site has a mixture of Self Catering Chalets, Static & touring caravans and Tent pitches. It is a well equipped site with everything you need on-site, Plenty of Toilet and Shower blocks scattered around and they also have a mini-market, bar, restaurant, take-away and a Games Room. The bar also had entertainment in the evenings which was popular with families. All of the facilities were spotlessly clean and of a high standard, you couldnt fault it. The Site is flat and grassy and has a little Duck pond at the end which was lovely to sit by on the sunny days and feed the resident ducks. Newquay itself, only 15 minutes away was an ideal place for a UK Holiday, plenty to do and beautiful, clean beaches. It's also an ideal base to tour Cornwall and the surrounding coastal areas. We pais about £7 per Adult per night which was excellent value considering the amenities on offer. We wouldnt hesitate to go back to Trenance again and have recommended it to all of our friends and family. I consider it as one of the best Camp Sites i've been too.

If you have a dog they have several walks with maps to help you. warm and welcoming!

Shop with everyday essentials, including beer, wine and scrumpy :- Padstow is a mile walk along some fields.and then pavement. Quite a steep walk down so to get back you can get the bus from the old train station. The 555 stops at the entrance to the park. This bus goes all the way to Bodmin. At the end of the field is a Tescos. The toilet and shower blocks are spotless. Grounds are well maintained. Children's play area. Dog field.

Honestly the best camp site I've EVER been to. Ever…read more The main USP of this place is its privacy. Pitches are hidden away and branch off from bumpy walking paths and are surrounded by woodland. The pitches are so far apart from each other that you'll often forget you have neighbours. An awesome option which I tried for the first time here, as we were only staying for one night, are the pre-erected tents. It felt like a bit of a cop out but was an absolute godsend. When we arrived, we were shown to the load/unload point nearest to our spot. Depending on where you're located on the site, you then use their huge wheelbarrows to lug your gear to your spot which could be anywhere from a 1-6 minute walk-ish. Most, if not all of the pitches come with a handmade canopy area and some kind of hand crafted seating arrangement / bench area which can vary in quality dependant on what you've paid. The pre-erected tent that we paid for came with EVERYTHING. A washing up area with water butt, bowl, washing up liquid, tea towels; a kitchenette type arrangement with gas, cooker (2 hobs), kettle, and a big cupboard which contained all your kitchen utensils and cutlery etc. Oh, and a coolbox too! Although it was a bit knackered due to squirrels trying to break and enter... We also had a real charming dining area with a big table and benches which where made by the owner's son. SO impressed. Additionally as part of this package we got a fire pit/grill thing so we obviously had a BBQ for dinner and breakfast. Fuel is available to buy from the reception for a decent price. Everything here is GREEN - they really pride themselves on being environmentally friendly. They're big on recycling and enthusiastic about respecting your surroundings. Some of their rules can be a bit confusing, mainly if you've had a few beers before visiting the bathroom... There are two toilets in a cubicle. One for 1s and another for 2s! Also no flush, just a jug, and some sawdust. Totally fine though. On site there's a little cafe which is only open at certain times, I didn't get chance to visit but seemed lovely. There's a communal washing up point for the visitors who don't have their own, and a freezer for you to help yourself to ice packs for your cooler - they've really thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible! The owners are great, too. Dead interesting characters and so friendly and helpful. And they own goats, dogs, and chickens! Think they might be my idols. Living the dream.

Road noise was not too bad but was disturbed early morning by dogs barking which was annoying. Shop closes at 4 pm so get your stuff early. I was asked to move for the 2nd day but nobody turned up. Great place for dog lovers

We stayed in a static caravan that had all of the amenities required for our holiday (including a dvd player). The bedrooms could have been slightly larger but were comfortable and with lots of storage space. Entertainment-wise there are loads to see for small children, including shows, magicians, games rooms and a talent competition. Slightly lacking for young adults although the holiday park surf lessons are a must! Friendly staff and they were happy to help with any problems/requests. My only suggestion would be to keep the bar/entertainment rooms open slightly longer for the people in over 18 to enjoy! :)

Originally we stayed in static caravans but then bought a touring caravan and still enjoy coming. The pitches used to be a little small but they listened to the criticism and made them much larger. We had massive pitch No1 this year. They have all you need to make your stay comfortable and easy - a lovely bar with good evening entertainment, kids clubs, takeaway food bar, well stocked shop, amusements, games room, kids play areas, cracking pool, launderette etc. The pool has a 300ft flume slide that operates 20 minutes of every hour during high season - they do have an infuriating rule that you cannot video your kids in the pool area but that's the time we live in i suppose. As a base to explore Cornwall it is ideally situated for travelling up, down and accross the county. There is a nice safe walk to the beach, which is glorious and safe and lifeguard controlled. Or walk the other way to Cubert and Ellenglaze for pub or chip shop. Other local pubs - The Bowgie Inn, The Smugglers Inn. Cannot recommend this site enough for a safe, friendly, calm, family holiday. The only downside is that I've been coming here for nearly 10 years and have been praising the place but have never recieved a loyalty discount or champagne on arrival!! Oh well, such is life.
