There site has plenty to do on it, great indoor pool with a small slide for the children. There are different acitivities the children can do with Bradley Bear and good entertainment on in the evening and don't forget the bingo.

Good site and would be happy to stay again. There is a family friendly pub close by called the Q Inn and in the Village the Cornishman pub.

We only stayed on this site for one night as we extended a holiday to visit our friends staying…read morehere. It's a really lovely place and well set out. They have a very big area for touring vans and the pitches are fairly roomy. There are many old stone walls running round the site which are nice. The bar and entertainment room is big, the cafe and amusements are naff but we wouldn't spend much time there anyway. They have a large pirate ship for the kids to play on. The pool isn't particularly big so it must get overcrowded in the summer. Nearby is Watergate bay which is fantastic. When the tide is out it's an awesome beach. When it's in it's small and densely packed. On the car park behind is Jamie Olivers Fifteen which I've never been in. Watergate is nice for the beach but the development of the town is going to get out of hand and probably ruin this lovely spot. You can't really walkto the beach but I think they put on a shuttle bus - which is better anyway as the car park down there is extortionate. Great campsite though, you won't be disappointed.

Came here as close to penhale and was given a nice place away from others in a very well tended…read more field. Nice large pitch and fairly flat. Road noise was not too bad but was disturbed early morning by dogs barking which was annoying. Shop closes at 4 pm so get your stuff early. I was asked to move for the 2nd day but nobody turned up. Great place for dog lovers

The caravan was amazing a double and twin room, living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom with attractive, comfortable fixtures and fittings, central heating and double glazing. The on site Costcutters provides everything you need for a self catering holiday and the prices weren't extortianate! There is a bar and an arcade in the park as well as a small playground area. The entertainment was cheesy yet fun and there is even a takeaway shop so you can enjoy a pizza after your pints! As for the Park's location, it's about 3 miles outside of Newquay Town Centre but there is a bus stop directly opposite the Park's entrance which takes you direct to Town. Or you can choose to book one of Pat's Cabs who are recommended by the Park. Overall, an excellent Holiday Destination.

Smugglers haven is the ideal (possibly only) place to stay for young groups wanting to camp in…read moreNewquay. Many campsites can be difficult allowing young groups as they expect lots of trouble. Smugglers Haven is part of a larger campsite where a section is seperated for the younger crowd. Not the place to stay for a quiet and relaxing holiday, but ideal if a group of you want to camp and check out the Newquay nightlife. Buses run regularly from the campsite to town and the site even has it's own bus service that runs late into the night to bring you home after a night out. As you would expect you do get some idiots going, drinking too much and making a show of themselves but there are secutiry guards on patrol keeping a check on things. On the whole most of the people there seemed to just be up for a good time with no bother.

Really convenient for the brilliant long sandy beach at Watergate Bay…read more Facilities are good, clean and well maintained. The welcome is friendly. It's quite a windy spot so bear that in mind when pitching. It takes about 20 minutes to walk down to the beach along part of the South west coast path. I imagine the site gets busy in Summer but at Easter it isn't too busy at all, and we have had good weather 2 years in a row.
