They have a good selection of used cars, starting from bargain purchases of £500 to higher quality used vehicles ranging up to about £8000.They have a good selection and the staff are ready to engage in a bit of bartering, which is always good in this modern day and age! I haven't sampled their repairs part of the business, but it is a reassuring feature if you were buying a car for personal use from them! The only negative I have about is the lack of parking space around the garage. There is room for a maximum 0f about 4 car spaces out front, so be prepared to park in Moneyreagh and walk down!

It is also useful if you are with toddler who is petrified of the usual petrol station car wash machines, as it is all manual. Extreme Clean offer a car wash for £5 which is good value and they will give your car, van or lorry a coat of wax for an extra pound. One extra little thing they do is clean the inside of your doors and your alloys. I must admit that I was a little bit worried that I was going to get soaked when the attendant reached for the door handle, all those childhood super soaker moments came flooding back, but to my surprise I stayed bone dry and the inside of the door looked nice and shinny. The service was excellent, the wash took 5 minutes and the car was gleaming, we even splashed out on a coat of wax. Big spenders eh? The one other thing I learned about this business is that it sells gift vouchers far all its services including valet. It isn't a cheap buisness having to get new tyres but this place is very competitive and there are always good deals. There is a comfortable sitting area with free refreshments not that you have to wait too long to get the chance to have that cuppa. It is easy to find with plenty of parking space. Even if you just want to call in to get your tyres checked it is well worth it rather than end up driving on dodgy tyres that may be breaking the law.

So I've got my dreaded MOT coming up and I thought I better get someone to have a quick check over…read moremy car before I put it through. After some research (on Yelp of course) I headed to Gilnahirk Tyres, even though it was on the other side of town from where I lived. I initially called to see what their prices were like and was told it was going to be £20 for a quick check over - I was happy enough with that as I didn't think much needed done. I arrived at 8:20am and it was absolutely rammed, must have been 5 cars queued in front of me - I was actually quite hesitant about going ahead with the service but I popped in to the reception and spoke to Billy and he said Bay 2 would be free in a few minutes! After that it was all straight forward - the car was in for a check over. The mechanic came out and told me I needed two new tyres so I went ahead and got them. £40 per tyre seemed ok with me. I was expecting to pay £100 - £20 for the service and £80 for both new tyres but to my surprise they only charged me £80 as the service was free if any extra work needed completing! This is genius and a lovely surprise. I was home by 9:15 am! The service was great. It may look chaotic but they know exactly what they are doing! They even offer an MOT service where they take your car to the centre for you while you're at work! Easy five stars!

I had a pleasant and professional experience. I prearranged a time to come down to their garages to get them sorted, which was a painless process. There are about 4 different ramp areas so in busy times you should be able to get serviced efficiently. I was able to get 4 brand new tyres for £90 which was very reasonable. They performed their ask very fast, and I was in and out of the place in about five minutes, I felt like I was in some sort of formula one pit stop! The garage will take payments via both card and cash for when you are short on immediate funds! I have never had to have my exhaust serviced by them, but I am sure that if their tyre service is anything to go by it would be a quick and reasonably priced service!
