    Bacon and egg cornbread

Very kind staff that is knowledgeable about there products, and a very cozy atmosphere! The bacon and egg cornbread was amazing and also so are the quiches! It's a must visit location!

Great location. Lovely use of a historic building. Comfortable. Outdoor seating is perfect, and the weather is ideal here in late Summer. No brioche today, but the almond lemon cake was delightful. Coffee really good.

Queen City Bakery was busy when I came in for breakfast. I had skipped my hotel breakfast to try something local. I was definitely impressed by all of the options. They do a good job to balance sweet and savory options. Despite it being 8:15, I really wanted to get a slice of cake. However, I showed some restraint. After a short wait, I ordered a slice of their coffee cake and a bacon, cheddar, scallion quiche with a iced dirty chai to drink. The cashier who helped me was really sweet. She put my quiche in the heater, made my drink and got my coffee cake. I took a seat at the counter. I watched as additional quiches got put into the heating mechanism, pulled out and distributed. Eventually the person who ordered after me got their quiche. Then the person behind them. At that point the server noticed that I still didn't have mine. She grabbed another, put it in the heater, then brought it to me. A quick apology would have been appreciated. Nonetheless, the quiche was delicious. Really good crust and filling. The coffee cake let me down. It was pretty dry and I wanted more flavor from both the cake and the crumb topping. Drink was good. Overall, I liked the vibe of Queen City Bakery and I'd return if nothing else than for a slice of cake.

Everything we had was delicious! Not to be unhelpful, but I recommend it all. Tried a quiche, cornbread, and coffee cake and they all were amazing! The coffees were great, too. The ambiance is very cozy -- warm and comfortable. Plenty of seating, and a convenient location downtown just a short walk from Falls Park. Service was friendly, and fast and efficient even given a decent sized line.

Having recently relocated to the city we were acquainting ourselves with downtown and looking for a place to sit down for a quick coffee. So glad we stopped and got out. We'll definitely be back ...

If you're looking for an adorable, well functioning cafe/bakery, stop here. Heck, bring in the instagrammers, they'll be salivating over these picturesque cappuccinos. The scone and quiche were excellent! They rotate so make sure you check social media! Right after we got there, an entire flock of coffee grabbers came in, simply overwhelming the staff. Nevertheless, these stalwart baristas handled the copious orders with professionalism. 5/5 absolutely delicious.

Queen City Bakery is located in what looks like an old factory. The ordering counter is in the middle of a big open space with lots of seating surrounding it. The hubs and I visited for breakfast around 9:30am on a Sunday and did not have to wait to order or find a seat. One of the young women seemed pretty grumpy to be at work, however, the young lady that took our order was friendly and patient while we took our time ordering. Hubby ordered an iced coffee with milk and a sausage quiche. The coffee tasted like straight black coffee and had what looked like coffee ice cubes in it (that was pretty cool). I ordered a chai latte and the veggie quiche. Being a chai tea snob, I wasn't impressed with the gigantic tea bag sitting in my cup or that it tasted like regular tea with some frothy milk. Although $6 seems pretty expensive for luke warm, mini quiches, they tasted great! Flaky crusts with savory ingredients made for a great combo. Overall, I would probably go back to one of the other pastry places downtown rather than come back to Queen City. Happy eating Yelpers!

Have to get the chocolate espresso cake. It's so tasty! Nice place to hang. Very spacious. Staff were nice!
