Terrible customer service. As a new resident of Cincinnati, I was looking for a primary care physician in the Oakley area. I tried booking an appointment online with multiple attempts of submitting my appointment. Finally, it went through but still received no verification of the appointment. Since then, I've been blackballed from booking an appointment with them for their lack of communication. read more

Terrible customer service. I repeat, run away from this place! I can't speak about the doctors, because the terrible customer service prevented that by FAILING TO ACTUALLY REGISTER MY APPOINTMENT. to be clear, I made it a month in advance for some required vaccinations for an international trip. Their complete negligence/incompetency could actually delay my trip, costing me hundreds of dollars. Utterly ridiculous. Further, I had to call several times to get them to confirm if they had ordered the vaccination I need, like they said that would have to do, and they said they don't have a record of my appointment, nor do they give that vaccination, nor would they accept a new patient to do any vaccinations at all. Before all of this, I had incredibly rude service when I called the first time when the woman, Jennifer, or Jessica, I believe, refused to take my information or look up my insurance and instead only told me to call my insurance first. It makes me wonder what these attendants' jobs consist of, if not processing insurance inquiries and scheduling appointments. Stay far away from this place if you actually have any health conditions that need attention. read more

I came in for a new patient appt and because the office staff is too lazy to call the insurance company and ONLY relies on the electronic verification, I waited 25 mins, took off work only for them to tell me I had to reschedule. Debbie at the front desk is extremely rude and none of the staff was helpful at all. I will not be returning to them and I will make sure to tell all of my friends, co workers and family that the office staff is awful!! My rating would be a ZERO if I could put that. read more

I recently became a new patient of Dr. Manahan, and think her office is great! Her staff was helpful. Her nurse was welcoming. The Dr. herself was also great, and wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered and took her time with my appointment. As far as the previous viewer saying that the Dr. wasn't personable, I'll have to strongly disagree. She was way more friendly and personable than any of the other doctors I've had since moving to Cincinnati. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

Dr. Steve Cleves and Dr. Jill Manahan are both very experienced, broad thinkers and adaptable to patient moods. Very competent, yet with great attitudes to learn more (for example when I'd bring feedback from a specialist I had visited). read more

I experienced the absolute worst patient service experience after contacting this office. I must have spoke on the phone with the receptionist for no more than 10 seconds (about setting up an appointment) before she completely belittled me and, by the end of the call, I was beside myself with how unprofessional she had been. Why even answer the telephone if you have no interest in providing information to those who inquire? Honestly, save yourself the headache of talking to this excuse of a receptionist...you won't be getting in the door anyway. **Please note that this is a review of the establishment, as they employ this receptionist, and not of the doctors (as I have not had contact with any of them). read more

I'm not the person to share negative experiences publicly... especially not on social media as I know the impact it can have. However, after experiencing extreme lack of concern, empathy, and responsibility from a doctor (Manahan) I've been going to for years, I feel the need to share. I'm honestly still in shock from the treatment and hostile person communication. Tried to keep this short but you can't really shorten an experience like this... Starting on Monday morning, I contacted Walgreens to refill a prescription. They tell me that they needed a doctor approval and would send something and let me know when it was filled. I never heard back so I called them back that afternoon. They confirmed they sent the request to the doctor but didn't get anything back. I called the doctor's office and was told that requests were approved at the end of the day and that I should get the refill on Tuesday. Fine by me. On Tuesday, I call Walgreens to see if they had received the approval but they had not. I called the doctor's office again to find out the status. The receptionist looked into my account, sighed, and told me the doctor had printed out the approval but had not sent it to Walgreens. She assured me that she would handle it so I waited a couple hours and called Walgreen to see if it was ready. They still had not received anything from the doctor. I called the doctor's office again and a different lady told me that approvals happened at the end of the day (again) and that I would get the refill on Wednesday. I'm slightly annoyed at this point. Wednesday comes around and I call Walgreens. Again. Still nothing from the doctor. Again. I call the doctor office's and they said they sent it in. I called Walgreens and they had not received it. I call the doctor's office. Then Walgreens again. At this point, I don't know why I'm the middle man in the process and why this seems to be so difficult. The day ends and I'm extremely aggravated as I still have no answers. I call the doctor one more time and being the office closed at 4:30pm, I was forced to go through the emergency prompts. The receptionist took down notes and told me the doctor would call me shortly. I was relieved as I was actually going to get to talk DIRECTLY TO the doctor, and not the staff that obviously had no idea how to run an office. She calls me back in 10 mins and says that she called it in herself and that it should be at the pharmacy. I decide to physically go to the Walgreens and talk to someone in person. I drive through and am told the same exact thing I've been told the last three days... absolutely nothing from the doctor. He even confirms with the pharmacist on duty. I can feel myself overheating at this point as it seems as though my prescription is being held at ransom. Being I haven't had it in two days and it used in anxiety situations like these, it didn't help the cause. I pull over next to the drive through, and call the emergency line again. I wait 15 mins for a call back from Doctor Manahan and now SHE is upset with ME. She proceeds to tell me that she called it in twice and her staff did as well. When I tell her I'm sitting at the Walgreens and there's nothing she says, and I quote, "Well it's my prerogative to even refill this for you." I'm shocked. I'm speechless. What does that even mean in this scenario? I fire back by saying how unacceptable this experience has been and question her on why she would say something like that to a patient. To that she says, "well I can't do anything about it, I'm on vacation, and it's my prerogative." I promptly tell her to "F*%K off" and hang up. Extreme? Maybe a little but I hope I'm never treated like that again. read more

Dr. Manahan will see you when you need her. I've never had to wait more than a day to get an appointment. She is knowledgeable about a lot of issues, she's just not really personable. she's nice, just not real fuzzy, which is fine by me. she is gentle and calming. her nurse is nice and the front desk staff do a good job. they can do a wide range of things in house including bloodwork. this may be TMI, but if you are an earwax sufferer, she is your go to gal. she's the first doctor i've ever had that not only knows the correct way to flush out earwax, but has the proper equipment as well. if you care about this, you probably know that if it's done by someone who is untrained, they can puncture your eardrum. she's no "Dr. House," but really, how often do you need that good of a doctor? most of the time, I just want to be seen right away when i'm sick. I would definitely recommend her, she just hasn't "wow'ed" me, and that's cool. read more

The worst experience ever!!! Last year I called to make an appt and asked about the insurance coverage for some regular services. All I got from the receptionist was " sorry, you have to call the insurance and find out by yourself". Those receptionist were lazy and rude. Also I have the worst experience with doctor Jill Manahan. I went there last year did pop smear, she didn't even do breast check for me. I thought that might be just not covered by the service. (Because I am new to this country.) But later found out it actually should be covered. I had to admit I was lazy to look for a new doctor even I wasn't satisfied last time. This year, I made an appt for physical check up and pop smear, Doc Jill Manahan didn't do breast check up for me nor physical check up. And for some reason, she was trying to rush me through. I asked some questions and told her my neck pain, she didn't even bother to ask the details. Just told me she would give some prescription and that would help. That scared me! I wouldn't trust any doctor to give some random prescription if they are not even bothering talking to you! Terrible experience! I will never go back and do not recommend anyone to go to this place! read more
