I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at a few different places around the city for the last couple of years, this was by far the best. Almost every other place I've gone to has taken way too much off, despite me telling them I wanted a fuller look to frame my face. The therapist took great detail in explaining the differences in each brow and told me as I'm so fair it could take 2 years for me to achieve the look I want without having to use pencil and powder to fill. Not sure if this was an upsell technique but I appreciated the honesty! She was very careful to remove the bare minimum whilst trying to make them even. Although it's more expensive than a lot of other places I was absolutely delighted with the results, I felt like she really listed to what I wanted and my face looked so different afterwards, being properly framed. I made my follow up appointment on the spot and was given a loyalty card- not sure what exactly this entitles me to. I met a friend for lunch afterwards and even though I was wearing less make up than usual she commented on how well I looked which I definitely think was down to the eyebrows!

For over an hour she removed all the pores and blackheads, moisturised and massaged my face and decolletage with Gigi products (from the Dead Sea). But even though the girls that run this place are very nice, I think Rose may disappoint in certain treatments and it feels a bit rough around the edges. The threading service is their main selling point, and except for the odd time when I had a new girl doing it, it was just perfect. I never had a really bad job done, the worst that happened was getting my skin pinched by the threads once and twice I left thinking that the shape was just OK as opposed to great. They will ask you if you like the end result, and they'll go over it again if you point something that you don't think is right. Don't expect a lot of pampering, you're usually in and out in 10-15mins, and you don't get a nice little massage or refreshing lotion in the end. This may just suit if you don't want to waste a lot of money and time with something so trivial. I wouldn't recommend doing your nails here though, the manicure you get isn't very attentive and I was very disappointed with the shellac I've done here once - it was the first and only time I had shellac starting to peel. Before heading in here, remember to bring money with you, they don't take cards. The nearest ATM is inside Dunnes. P.S.: Another reviewer mentioned an "Asian" woman; well, if you talk to them you'll realize they're almost all from the same country, Nepal. I couldn't quite find the shade I wanted and kept saying, "A slightly redder, lighter oxblood" so Lien pulled out a few shades and tested a few on my nails. She also suggested making our own shade by doing a red base with a darker top... And she nailed it! (Heh) I would have never thought of it and it sounds silly to get so excited but I've just never had anyone nail this color before! (Yay all the puns!) I love my nails and will definitely come back to see Lien again before I leave. :)
