I was in the market for a new optometrist after moving here a couple years ago, so took my friends up on their review and decided to book an appointment. Dr. Permack was extremely kind, patient, and attentive. He took the time to run a number of tests on my eyes and make sure I was completely satisfied with the final prescription he prescribed. I also really appreciated that Dr. Permack paid attention to my family's ocular history and ensured that he ran a cornea mapping exam with some fancy new equipment he had! What most impressed me with Dr. Permack was that he was able to teach me how to put in contact lens and found me a type that I really liked. I've been resisting contacts for years now, and was so surprised when he was able to give me a pair of contacts that I could barely feel and actually could see through! All in all, I would recommend Dr. Permack without hesitation. If you're looking for a talented, conscientious optometrist, make sure to give him a call. Bonus points: Dr. Permack has these hilarious test 'glasses' that you can put on that let you test the prescription he recommends. Ask him to try them on and you'll see what I'm talking about.

My basic eye exam was pretty reasonably priced (and I called around the area to compare). Of course, I'm not at all qualified to comment on Dr. Dunning's skills as an optometrist, but she was friendly, perceptive and seemed very competent to me! I was kept waiting a little while for my appointment, and the waiting area magazine selection was kinda sparse (but now I'm just being finicky...).

No one should feel singled out or unwelcome while simply shopping.
