The stylist, Bella was not sure she could do it but would try. I did try making some small talk with her, but she really wouldn't talk much. Bella had asked me to put my head down, I figured just to do the back. She was cutting my hair and was about to take my hair from the top clip and she stops and says I'll be right back, I said OK. Once Bella left and went to the back my sister did come up and told me she doesn't know what she is doing, she was chopping up my hair in areas and leaving long strings in other areas. About 10 minutes later another hair stylist, I believe the owner, comes out and says Bella is nervous and upset, she can't finish your hair. She then says that Bella said myself and my sister were talking about her and said we didn't like how she was cutting my hair. I explained that My sister, who was sitting over 25 feet away from me, and I never said one word at all. My sister and I hadn't spoken to each other at all since we got to the Salon, until Bella had excused herself, gone to the back and did not return. The other stylist (owner) said she couldn't finish my hair until tomorrow. I told her I had to be in Fresno tomorrow to pick up our Christmas guest. She went to the back to call someone else to come in if they could. We waited for another 15 minutes and neither one came back up front. I took the clips out of my hair, and we left. Leaving a customer with their hair chopped up and having nobody in the shop who could finish it is out of this world. I was supposed to go out of town for Christmas on Thursday, now I have had to change my plans and be late an entire day! All this due to Bella, but her shop owner as well. This was incredibly unprofessional! I will never go into that Salon again and would never recommend anyone else to go either. If the stylist cannot come out herself and apologize and tell you herself that she is unable to continue she has no business in the profession! I have attached photos of my ruined hair; the length was originally down to my shoulders. Believe me if I could have left no stars I would have. Unfortunately, you must click on at least one. Pearl did my consultation and trim--she was so gentle and took the time to explain what needed to be done (because, let's be real, we all get nervous when it comes to trimming!). She also listened with genuine compassion as I shared concerns about a sensitive spot at the top of my head. Jordan braided me down and explained how the braid pattern would support my hair growth journey--she did an *amazing* job! The braids are truly low-tension but look so neat and secure; she even caught every strand without pulling tight. There was also a lovely young lady whose name started with an "S" (I think it sounded like Shay-Tan--please forgive me if I got it wrong!) who answered my questions about potentially wearing wigs. That's why I was so bummed about what happened recently. So, rewind to November 12th. I was super excited because I picked up not one, but two new human hair wigs. The prices were honestly fantastic, and I felt like I got such a great deal. I took them home, gave them both a good wash, let them air dry overnight - you know the drill, getting them all prepped to wear. That's when things took a surprising turn. Both wigs were supposedly the same brand and model, just different colors. But, lo and behold, after the wash, it became super clear that one of them definitely wasn't human hair at all! It was such a letdown after thinking I'd snagged two amazing units. Naturally, I headed straight back to the store, hoping they could help clear things up. I explained the situation to the guy out front, expecting some sort of solution. Instead, he just told me I'd have to take it up directly with the company, either by calling or emailing them. I was pretty confused and asked again, just to make sure I understood, and he basically repeated that he couldn't do anything to assist me. Honestly, it was a huge disappointment. I mean, I bought it *from* them, right? It just felt really strange that they couldn't stand behind a product they sold, especially for a loyal customer like me.
