Food isn't the best here, although who goes to a bowling alley for the food?? Great array of activities, and Mario kart arcades!!

    Winter Wonderland - Soooo good

In short, most stalls and carnival games are scams, a lot of food stalls but the food are mediocre,…read moreand the rides are much better at Thorpe Park. It was absolutely packed and I can barely feel any Christmas vibes. It is worth mentioning that the park tends to attract large crowds, and there are a number of carnival mini games that are scams, falling short of expectations and potentially being overpriced. While it can be worthwhile to visit at least once to immerse oneself in the festive atmosphere, it is understandable that some individuals may opt not to return based on their personal preferences.

Winter wonderland has to be one of my fav things to do when the holidays come around…read more It's best to book tickets online in advance, as sometimes you are out of luck and there are no tickets left at the place. Usually around this time of year is also very cold so bundle up. The place is a fair and a Christmas market all in one. The fair has many rides for all, from toddler to young adult to more mature. The rides use tokens/tickets and those can be purchased there or beforehand as well. They have some pretty nice thrills but if roller coasters and that kind of stuff is not your thing, not to worry, they have other fun rides that are not as intimidating, and lots of games to test your luck. The market is full of items that can be gifted for the holidays, and they have food all throughout the park, BUT they also have areas where you can sit to have a drink, and yes an adult drink haha with love music and bands, and this is probably top3 for me to do there, you feel some kind of brother/sisterhood sitting there next to strangers bonding over classic songs. This place also includes, an ice sculpture area and a circus ! Truly so much to do here, that if possible, you need at least 2 days to soak it all in. The weekends are super packed so if you don't like crowds, probably best to visit during the week. Prices are moderate and reasonable but you don't have to break bank, they usually have deals online to choose from, that best fits what your visit would look like. So go ahead, visit winter wonderland and bring home a prize!

Genji Sushi Bar - Not to be missed in future!

"Monster-ly brilliant sushi bar"…read more Genji at Whole Foods Market is a brilliant Japanese sushi bar that also does a small selection of dim sum servings. I came here solo to grab a quick lunch and sampled their special Dragon Roll at £11.99. They described it as a 'Godzilla' sort of roll, which is rolled rice with avocado and cucumber, topped with a complete length grilled eel, sliced into 8 pieces and decorated with a drizzle of sweet, thick and yummy 'Genji-mix' teriyaki sauce. Presentation was fantastic and and typically simple, and the taste was good. There is also a soft-shell crab roll for £12.00 which I have sampled before and that was tasty too. I also had large mug of fragrant green tea which is free flowing. Service is efficient and friendly. The location sitting at the bar is simply great, you can watch the traffic flow and shoppers below going about their business from the perched position through the huge panoramic windows.

Yes it is a Sushi bar but they had udon and other non raw seafood items as to not offend my non seafood friendly friend. Their Udons were really good. Better than a specialty udon shop in soho! I ordered the Ebi Udon (shrimp). The broth was flavorful without tasting artificial and their noodle had the right chewy texture that one can only achieve with tapioca flour in the dough. And a total bargain for being under 8 pounds! The shrimp was large and tempura batter was right for the soup. They also added in a mixed veggie Tempura which was quite generous as well. They even had a spicy option!! SPICY!! In London!! I'm so in love! I'll be back and often! =)
