The new owner Tuyen was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about products and services which I was thankful for. I enjoyed my first visit and told them I would return. Today I returned and had a pedicure. It was honestly the best pedicure I've ever had. Such attention to detail and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time I was there. I did not feel rushed at all!! I've been to a lot of nail shops where you are herded in one after the next, it's never an enjoyable time. Not at Ancaster Village Nails and Spa, I felt like I was important! I will definitely be a repeat customer here:) I would also like to mention how clean this business is. Last time I came here with my daughter and my little sister they both were over the moon with her nails and my daughter was even more ecstatic about hers. I came Back here today to get my daughter and mine down again and I have to say they always put a smile on my face this really is the only salon I will go to get my nails done, I will even wait to make the drive out here rather than get them done in my own town. Possibly the WORST pedicure I've ever had (which is saying a lot because I used to go weekly when I…read morelived in Toronto). I managed to carve a free hour out of my day and had someone to watch my son to treat myself for a birthday pedicure last minute. The guy doing my pedicure kept snorting his snot back into his head until I told him to go blow his nose. Then I had to tell him to change his gloves!! My entire pedicure was 13 minutes. He left some of my old red polish on my nails before he started polishing with the new colour and I had to ask him to do a better job cleaning. He completely skipped the exfoliating treatment I've had at this salon before. I sat and let my poorly polished nails dry longer than the entire rest of the pedicure took. Absolutely so frustrating when I was looking forward to a little break and self care. I'll never return.

Service: (5/5) all the girls were wonderful, friendly, and attentive. They listened to our sensitivities and requests. One of the girls actually spoke my grandmother's native language! She was thrilled to have her as a technician and it made her more comfortable. Product: (2/5) unfortunately, our pedicures and manicures didn't last very long. My mom's mani cracked within TWO HOURS of our service (we called and they were wonderful about fixing it ASAP). And my pedicure and my grandmother's mani chipped a few days after. All in all, it's a fabulous place to hang out (hello, they have a bar too!) and pop in if you're around. But unfortunately I'm not going to go out of my way to come here.
