So I have been going to this dentist for a few years. Someone took down my original review (I had 2, this is my 3rd review). But I have to say that this Dentist Office has made major changes since my last appointment. I was just there on June 5 for a cleaning. The place wasn't packed and they called me right on time. They even asked me if I had a preference of what Dentist I wanted to see! The dentist hygienist who cleaned my teeth did so well! I highly recommend her. I wish I got her name. I wish I could give zero stars. My father had a scheduled appointment, but when he arrived in severe pain needing a root canal, I was far away, on the phone translating. Paola at the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and told him to just sit down whenever he tried to speak. After all that waiting, they said they could do the root canal, but only if we also agreed to a more expensive procedure, essentially trapping us since he was in pain. Paola treated him like a child, dismissed his pain, and should not be in this position. she is unfit for a front desk role in a healthcare environment. My father was disrespected, and I was powerless from afar . I don't know how this place has good reviews there is no way this place can have a good reputation while treating patients like this. I hope the manager or owner steps in and takes action immediately. read more

The doctors are good but the wait time is between 1-2 hours with appointment. The front desk ladies are rude and when I asked why it's taking so long to see the dentist after waiting and hour, she just said sit and wait. i do not recommend this place. read more

I've been a patient here for years, getting treatments like crowns, veneers, whitening, and cleanings. However, I stopped going due to long wait times--often over an hour and a half. The dentist is great, but I can't say the same about the front desk staff. I've been trying to get my dental records for over a month. After multiple emails and voicemails, they finally sent me a release form, which I signed and returned. Yet, I heard nothing back. When I called, they told me the signature had to be handwritten, so I went in person. The receptionist had me sign something electronically but didn't show me what it was. Later, I got an email with just one X-ray. I called again and was told I had signed an X-ray release form, not the full record. Now, they say I'll get my records in two weeks. This whole process has been a nightmare. They're overbooked, incompetent, and completely incapable of handling a simple request. Save yourself the headache--avoid them at all costs. read more

Aside from the dental work I have no complaints but the front desk has some nerve!!! You guys have to do better with how you attend your patients and do not speak another language in front of them thinking they will not understand you, how rude!! I had my first appointment with Queens Professional Dental care yesterday Feb 5th. I have to say I had a very positive experience. The front desk staff were very friendly and extremely professional. The lady who did my x-rays was extremely professional and made me feel at ease with her cheerful personality. Dr Yang did my dental work and he was excellent with a fantastic chair side manner. Care is extremely hit and miss. I had a need for an emergency visit. E-mailed via site and no response... finally called and had to wait half a week to get in. Waited 50 minutes in crowded waiting area, then about 40 minutes in the dental chair (with the bib on and no one checking in to say "sorry for the delay".) Finally got up and walked out. On the other hand, when they wanted me to have a procedure, they kept calling me to book even though my insurance company turned it down. The waiting room was PACKED and there were people waiting outside and in the doorways as well. I have never been around that many people in a small space in over a year. Completely unacceptable in COVID times. On top of that the reason the waiting room was packed is because there was a 2 hour wait. This seems to be a normal thing if you look at their google reviews. I came just for a cleaning. The hygienist barely cleaned my teeth and she didn't even do a flossing at the end. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a dental practice. I've been going here for a couple of years, and have no complaints about the actual dental work. However the wait time has significantly increased over time to what I think is unreasonable, pretty consistently. At the moment, I've been waiting over 1.5 hours for a basic cleaning appointment, and think it will be close to a 2 hour wait. I will be looking for another dental office after this visit. read more

I have been coming for over three years now. The staff is always welcoming in person and over the phone. The doctors and dentist assts are thorough and take the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions. Working Monday to Friday, it's nice they are open on the weekends to keep up dentist health. I highly recommend. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for three years. They never had such an issue with time management until this year. I couldn't believe how long I waited for a teeth cleaning and Invisalign retainer consultation. My husband finished hours before me. We came in at 3:30 and I literally walked away from the dentist chair after being told multiple times the next doctor will see you soon. I left at 6:30pm. Disgusting service, not to mention how dirty the place looks. I will never go there again. I do not recommend this place. Really bad service. the twice that I have been there I had to wait for more than an hour after the time I was supposed to. Also the receptionists are very rude. Also I got fillings and now these areas are very sensitive. Since the first time I went I paid for a night guard and I am still expecting them.The way I realized they were ready was because I called because you promised to call me and that never happened ( I have to say that they always let me in hold saying that you will call me). I had an 11:00 appointment last Saturday, for which I arrived before 11:00, and after waiting until 1:07, so over 2 hours, I walked out and will never return. They finally called me at 1:23, so essentially after waiting for 2 and a half hours. The waiting room was packed, with several people standing at all times, and if in your over 2 hour wait you are called to the desk or use the restroom, then you lose your seat and are forced to stand. No explanation of the delay was ever given, and obviously they book multiple appointments for the same time, and have no regard for patients. Avoid this place, unless you enjoy standing in a crowded waiting room for 2.5 hours. read more

THIS IS A REAL REVIEW! I AM AN ACTUAL PATIENT, THIS IS NOT YELP-SPAM! A friend recommended that I try Hassan for dental services when I had a problem last year. I had broken my tooth due to excessive grinding at night. For a few days I couldn't figure out what was wrong, it felt weirdly loose, like I remembered the feeling from aeons ago when I lost baby teeth (or at least what I feel like I remembered). Anyway, I took the 7 train out from the city (I live and work in Manhattan) to visit Hassan's office in Queens. The thing that really struck me about him was his bedside manner. He was extremely comforting throughout the process. He examined the tooth and said it had to be removed to see how badly it was cracked. I hate needles, but Hassan was really calm, spoke in a kind manner, and made me feel comfortable even though I was getting a painful shot in my gums. After he numbed the tooth he pulled it and showed me that it was completely cracked all the way down to the root. We discussed the options and based on his advice I decided to get an implant. That procedure involved a number of visits back to his office and also to a specialist. Each time I came back to see Hassan, again he was extremely helpful, kind, and just had a really great bedside manner. The total bill on the implant was something like $2,000, which was probably 2 to 3 times less expensive than it would have cost me to get it done in Manhattan. I don't have dental insurance, so everything was just out of pocket, and the extremely reasonable and low price was also a great feature. So if you are looking for a friendly dentist, with a great bedside manner, and pricing that is much lower than what you will find in Manhattan, give Hassan a call. He's a great guy, you won't regret it. read more

Absolutely awful service, terrible bed-manners, arrogant behavior, and no concern for patient health or safety. I went in for a consultation after suffering in tooth pain for 3 days, which was caused by the cavity filling procedure performed at this practice. Dr. Alamzad and his posses of god-awful nurses are incompetent, inefficient, inhumane to some degree, and should be avoided at all cost. During a particularly painful and shot visit, they all disregarded my pain and treated me like a bill waiting to cash out with a rushed root canal process. Just visited this dentist yesterday with my wife and was extremely happy with everything. The staff was very professional and kind, the atmosphere very light and energetic (in my experience, most doctors offices are gloomy and have yellow lighting which promotes poor energy), everything was clean from the floor to the ceilings, the x-rays were EXTREMELY fast BUT the absolute best part was being with the doctors. I had a ton of questions to ask and they more than happily answered everything and was introduced to solutions to my problems with clear cut instructions. They also went over my x-rays with me and helped me understand every-bit of what was going on. Overall, I was extremely caught off guard by the overall rank on this site given by the majority. We both left this place so happy that we were compelled to give a review about it and i've never reviewed anything before. read more

I've been coming to this dentist for years... Dr. Almazad is great but I don't understand why if my appointment was at 10:15 I am still in the waiting room at noon. My time is valuable and I don't appreciate it being wasted. I will be changing to another dentist because I can not waste my time waiting here for 2 hours. My experience was horrible with this dental office. I believe this place should be avoided by everyone. I will try to keep it short: 1. My appointment with the periodontist was cancelled 30 min before. I was on my way and called them to let them know that I was going to be there, that's when I found out it was cancelled. 2. Few girls (if not all of them) at the front desk are pretty rude and unprofessional 3. The front desk does not know what other dental offices send. They don't put any note. Good luck with the front desk! 4. Avoid the periodontist. She is pretty careless. She was talking a lot while she was doing the procedure. It was pretty dangerous. 5. You always wait to be seen by the doctor (at least 30 min). Allow additional time (like what NYC MTA subway always says) 6. Came here to get my implant completed, I was told my insurance does not cover the procedure even before they checked what was covered (including Dr. Alamzad). I insisted that they check. Finally he told me that I just needed to pay 40% of total cost. How can you trust a doctor after such thing? He first said it was $2,700 and then $800. But he would not come to see me and explain how he calculated. He just sent his nurse who told me that it was $800 7. I felt like all they wanted was to get cash and not use my insurance. read more

I have gotten my cleaning and checkup twice over here. I don't understand how this place has bad reviews. The staff is friendly and professional. I had 20 mins waiting time before I was seen. The hygienist made me wear some sort of goggles so that that water wouldn't splatter in my eyes. The dentist also checked in to make sure everything was ok. I love how they text to remind the patients of their appointment. Overall, I am very pleased with their service. Queens Professional Dental Care is amazing!! I went there for the first time a couple months ago for a check up and after my wonderful experience, my kids are now patients there as well. The service is great, the staff is charming and Dr. Alamzad knows what he's doing. Know I go for every minor dental problem I have- crowns, cavities, etc. Honestly, it would probably be easier to find a dental office somewhere in my neighborhood, but the schlep from Manhattan is fast when I drive and it's 100% worth it!! read more

I've been in this office several times throughout the years. I think Dr. Alamzad is a good professional and a nice guy, but I am not crazy about the front desk staff. Never been. However, after an appointment I had for 5:45 PM for which I arrived and signed in at 5:30 PM and was seen by the Periodontist Dr. Choe at (at last) 7:40 PM, I was upset. In the first place, there were about 7 or 8 people in the waiting room when I arrived. Another 7 or 8 came after me. I was the next to last when called. So my question is: how does the front desk staff schedule appointments? If the 12 or 13 people that were attended to before me were seen by the other 2 professionals, wouldn't that mean that Dr. Choe spent a very long time with 1, maybe 2 patients? And If not then, did she see patients that arrived after me? I believe the administrative staff goofed. However upset or irate as I was, I was willing to let it go if a little humility and perhaps a mild apology would have been rendered me, but when I asked Dr. Choe If I should expect 1.5 hrs. average to be the usual waiting time, I got neither. She may very well be on top of her field, but her response was lacking. So I got up and left. read more
