She brought the check, we paid, stood to leave and she said thank you as my husband handed the check back to her. He quickly mentioned it was our anniversary, she stopped and asked if we would want to sit back down and she would bring us a dessert. It was nice to offer, but she could have learned this if she would have taken a moment to talk to us. One of my favorite features was the front patio seating. There's just something about sitting outside with a glass of wine, good conversation, and people watching in Montreal that makes for a memorable afternoon. While the inside was gorgeous, I prefer outside always. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share, but I can definitely speak to the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always seemed to appear right when our glasses were getting low, amazing! haha. They helped create a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to sit, chat, and enjoy each other's conversation. Sabrosa is a cute, comfortable spot that's perfect for catching up with friends over wine and food for sure. I'd happily stop by again on a future visit to Montreal.
