Yet, since it is located in the far outer suburbs, I probably shouldn't be all that surprised at this particular pub, especially since it does not happen to have a great selection of beers on tap. Still, it really isn't one that I'd be spending my time at.

What's changed is the neighborhood... The central business district used to be well located for site seeing but pretty dead atmosphere wise. Just corporate buildings and workers. Quiet at night and silent on the weekends. Now, it's an amazing hub of activity with residents, coffee shops, restaurant, bars, shops and more plus the corporate buildings. The main drag, George Street, is now pedestrian only and relaxing to walk along. We look forward to returning again somehow, some way, in the future! We already agreed Mantra 2 on Bond Street will be our destination again! I'd like to thank the following employees I met and all of the cleaning staff who are all universally welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional: Niruma, Kartika, Barsha, Gerald from engineering and Nina. My stay so far in a second floor studio has been lovely - the bed is firm and covered with soft sheets, I've got a sofa to lounge on, a table to work at and plenty of room to move around. If not for the rain, I'd be hanging on my balcony too! There's a pool on the ground floor and a gym (though I've yet to check it out since my sneakers are still soaked from yesterday's rain). The swish lobby is comfortable enough to work in too. Walk outside and you'll have every amenity you're after, from organic grocery stores to used bookshops and places to buy board shorts and bikinis, I can't think of a better place in the city to locate yourself. Minus a beach view, the location truly couldn't be better. 4. The conference room is not is some grimy basement, but instead easily accessed on the first floor with tons of natural light and big sliding glass doors. 5. The accommodating staff will basically give you anything you want (within reason) and are super easy to work with during the booking, check-in and check-out process. 6. The price is right. There were a few hiccups with internet bills and connectivity, and a bit of a room leak problem that was quickly resolved with a generous upgrade, so considering that we were some of the hotel's very first guests, it was definitely an experience worth recommending.

Okay, you do get your own room, and they are relatively clean, but they aren't cleaned on a daily basis, and the showers are shared, and certainly not the best. There is no elevator, and the building looks a little run down. I guess the best way to describe this place would be a 'roach motel', but I actually think that is a little harsh because it is a little higher standard than that. You have an option when booking for Private or Shared bath. I had a single room that was slightly larger than the one depicted in the photos here but not by much. It was maybe 11x11 ft. I did have a shower and toilet in my room about the size and design of a boats' head. There was also a little kitchenette area that had a small fridge, counter area, and sink with a mirror over it that doubled for the bathroom vanity. There is also an armoire and small table with 2 chairs. It has a electric kettle with some coffee and tea options. There were two windows with opaque glass. So light in but no view. The double bed was soft and clean. The room was good enough for the two nights I stayed. It's a step up from a hostel-which I had also been considering for this trip. The neighborhood is ok. Not particularly charming but didn't seem dangerous either. It's 2 easy blocks from the Central Train Station. There are a couple quaint bars and several food options nearby, including a 7-11 open 24hrs. This place got the job done and that's all I needed.
