I just had to stop in Dalhart for the night passing through. I popped into this little coffee shop which is in the middle of the pear tree gift shop. A very sweet young lady makes one mean breve latte! I was there too early for the gift shop to be open but she was kind enough to let me purchase something for my granddaughter. Tucked in the corner of a lovely décor boutique, Purpose Coffee offered delicious iced and hot espresso drinks. Since it was 92 outside, we all went iced! My fellow travelers had the Mounds, coconut and chocolate syrup with espresso. Mine was the Black & White, featuring dark and white chocolate syrups. To top it all off, they offer a selection of milks including oat and almond. The young lady who served as our barista could not have been nicer . Trust me, if your missing your usual iced coffee while you're driving through the Panhandle, you should stop here on Purpose!!! read more

Purpose Coffee is in the back of an AMAZING gift shop (where I found a birthday gift for my sister). The coffee is delicious! My husband got a great mocha and I got the grind of the day, black. I was making the drive from Denver to Dallas and, in definite need of a caffeine boost, searched Yelp for a decent cup of coffee. I came across this gem and am SO glad I did! The coffee is *excellent* (and I'm a snob about my brew) and I loved that it was a supporting a great cause as well. I made sure to stop in again on my way back up to Denver, and both times had great coffee and such friendly staff. My new halfway pit stop! This place is so amazing! The coffee tastes so good and they have fun drinks. Also everything they have to sell in there is so cute and the building itself is a place where you will want to hangout forever. The idea behind the place is the best part-- they give away all their proceeds and have given away tens of thousands of dollars in multiple different countries to humanitarian aid. What a hidden gem! I'm a coffee snob and this is some of the best coffee I've ever had. My husband had a regular drip coffee and I had a cappuccino. Both were delicious. The coffee was smooth and richly flavored. They currently only have drive through service due to COVID. read more

We were traveling from red river New Mexico and I needed to have a quiet place to have a client where there was Internet. This coffee shop was so clean, perfect, and had smooth coffee. I also bought a pound to take home. What really stands out is that all profits from the sale of the coffee products to support charities like preventing human trafficking. They also sell candles and T-shirt's and other unique gifts. I gotta be honest. I literally thought it was a mirage in the middle of this quiet town in Northwest Texas to find such a luxury coffee shop. read more
