"That's a GREAT cup of coffee!" Love when we're on the road and find another excellent coffee stop along the way. (Driving from Houston, TX to Taos, NM for a week) Hubs is over here gushing about what a fantastic morning it's been, part because of the adventure of a new place and lower humidity, but also, this is a GREAT cup of coffee! Drive thru is hopping on a late Saturday morning, plenty of parking outside and seating inside. Ordered the usual (decaf flat white, heavy cream) and it came out HOT and quickly. That first sip is like heaven on earth. Hot. Creamy. Coffee forward. They've got the ratios just right and this is a splendid beverage. Friendly staff inside, wishing us a great day as we left - felt very genuine and kind. We'll bookmark this place for the return trip(s). A bit far to become regular customers here, but definitely worth the detour off I40 for a local spot! read more

Roasters is lame. Not seeing any water station in the cafe, I asked for a cup of water as we prepared for yet another 100+ degree day in Amarillo, and was told that it cost 50 cents. To which I responded, really? "Yes, sir... the 50 cents is for the cup." Wow, I've never been quoted that for a cup... of water. Got this on our way out of Amarillo and thought it was pretty great. I got the iced white mocha and it was yummy. Next time I would add an extra shot tho. We also got the kolaches. The small ones are way better than the large square ones. The large ones were way too bready. I would get only small ones next time. read more

My friend who lives in Amarillo recommended this local coffee shop and I was glad I tried it. I got the cold brew with vanilla and it was great! Not too sweet and a strong brew. The drive thru was insanely packed so we went inside to order. They focused mainly on drive thru despite us being the only ones inside and when we came back out to the car the line in the drive thru dwindled greatly. read more

Hopped in the Roasters Coffee & Tea Co drive-thru line on 10/9/2022. It moved sluggishly slow at first. So I thought, "Some lucky group is getting a round of espresso shots this breezy morning!" Lol. I should have just parked and ordered inside. Several folks did just that and were out before I even made it to the intercom. I opted for a tall (16 oz.) white mocha latte $5.30 with whipped cream. It was so tasty and the right kind of hot during my drive to Palo Duro Canyon. When in Amarillo, Texas, this is a good go to coffee shop. When my barista gave me a "Christmas" themed gift card for a July birthday gift, I reached out to the owner. He apologized and was embarrassed by the lack of customer service at the store when I asked for an exchange (on the card) when I bought it through the drive-thru at Soncy . He doubled down on their efforts and said they'd hold a new card for me, or even bring me a card to my house. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE OF WHICH 2021 NEEDS MORE! Traveling through Amarillo stopped at the gem of a coffee shop and ordered my vanilla latte for the next morning's travel. I took a taste before saving it in the frig for the next morning and it was so good, I had to remind myself to save it! Heated up perfectly the next morning and then I wished I had bought two lol. Well there's always next time! The staff was friendly and very accommodating since I didn't want it steamed too hot and asked if I needed anything else to go with my coffee. Inside was clean with a friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

Amarillo's best coffee. WAY BETTER THAN STARBUCKS. I even get my beans here. I have the old "roasters cup" which is a very nice Thermos cup that has the roasters logo on it... and with that cup they'll give you a refill for $1. Pretty good deal for good coffee. And this is a hometown Amarillo business, so you're supporting the local economy. read more

Roaster's is such a great place to either study or just hang out! The employees there are very respectful and kind. They sure do know that the customer is always right. They are also very well trained so I am never disappointed. From coffee to smoothies I am always impressed. There is also plenty of space so you don't feel squished or claustrophobic. It is also usually very quiet so it is a great place to study or do school work. Even to get out of the house and just chill. I love Roasters! read more

I've enjoyed extended study times at this location. The environment is clean, the coffee good as any Roasters, and the service is prompt. While smaller than the Georgia location, the bar lay out is as good, if not better. This is because outlets are accessible from every sitting place except one. The servers are nice and the crowd is generally mellow. One other thing this location has is better Internet access. The Roasters on Georgia is infamous for barring users from access while transmitting a strong signal. In my opinion, while this may not be the most stylish coffee house in town, it is the best one. read more

Pretty basic needs my father and I have; we just stopped in here after mass on a Sunday morning for some black coffee, but it looks like they do they whole shebang here!! They sell their coffees in bulk, today they were brewing the Roaster's (house) Blend. They had prepackaged biscotti and some pastries, too. The worker was kind enough to fill my water bottle for me and add ice...but I know that's rather expected here in the southwest!! They have a good sized café area and clean bathrooms and a drive through!! This coffee shop serves all your coffee needs and is just off I-40. read more

This is my coffee shop. I prefer this location since it's closer to work but the baristas here are excellent. Always friendly and do a great job of remembering and recognizing their regulars. Was out of town last week and tried 3 different small coffee shops and none compared to the coffee I get from my local roasters. Great place with great people. read more

At 2pm or so I stopped here to get a hot chi-tea latte. I was the Only customer at counter but the employee would not look up from her cell phone (texting) to even acknowledge me. I has to speak first, then she Took my $3.50 and another employees shoved the cup to me and walked off. When I got down the road and took a sip it was horrible pumpkin spice and cold. I guess I will go back to Starbucks were you are treated like a customer and not a bother! read more

If you're a fan of espresso, this place is not where you want to go. If you just need a quick caffeine fix and/or enjoy the sugary coffee drinks, have at it. Service is quick and friendly. Ambiance is like any other commercialized coffee place. I would never come back because I'm a coffee snob and don't believe in unnecessary hyperglycemic treats. read more

I have always been a fan of Roasters but my last experience was awful. The baristas seemed stressed out and not able to keep up with the busy Saturday morning. We got our coffee but after a sip realized that the milk was curdled. Why would you serve that to someone?!? It's obvious when steaming the milk that its been over steamed and is curdled. Needless to say we were sick to our stomachs an hour later. read more

I am apart of the whole "support small town businesses" and all of that, but my first experience here was honestly horrible. I went through the drive through on Georgia, ordered a pumpkin spice since they were released early, and I gave the man my money, which was about 6 dollars and I was supposed to get 1.45 in change back. Well he gave me my coffee and waved us on. Turns out he had kept my change as a tip for himself. I had already turned into the drive way when i realized it. Then after trying the coffee I came to find out that half of the tall cup was nothing but foam, then bland coffee in the middle, and then lastly all of the syrup was at the bottom. This was the worst coffee I had ever had in my life, my stomach is still turning because of how poorly it was made. We were also the only ones through the line at the time, and when we left we where still the only ones. Needless to say, this store needs to hire some better help that know how to make the coffee correctly with out making customers sick, and also they need to push it into their minds not to take the money from customers that did not offer it to them. read more

I got the set up with the cappuccino, that came with some sparkling water and two dark chocolate covered açai berries. The foam artwork on my cappuccino was amazing and the heart lasted through the whole drinking experience. my compliments to the artist! It really was lovely. If you need a coffee I definitely recommend this place! Also, there is an open air porch situation where you can bring your pets. There's also plenty of seating both in front of the coffee bar and behind where you can sit on a couch or bar and write your book. There are many outlets and it is cozy and intended for working individuals.

went in here for my morning cup and ask if they had pour over. i was looking over the selection of…read morebeans and cashier suggest the house blend. try it and was underwhelmed. seems to be a bit diluted. and i tasted a little sour note. sorry, i dont like sour african coffee. my preference is south american chocolate nutty notes. i also felt the coffee to water ratio was perhaps higher to my liking. i usually do 20g coffee to 200ml water about a 10-11 ratio. this tastes kinda like a 15-16 ratio. i think this is just personal preference as I am just used to drinking more concentrated coffee than standard. my grind is also smaller thus if i extract to long, the coffee becomes bitter... anyways, pour over is a science with grind size, pour process and ratios all contributing to the flavor profile... not to mention the beans itself.. the only thing i would have wanted is a flight of different beans so I can try a variety and thus purchase the beans i like perhaps i should have instructed them to do a 10-11 ratio. anyways, the breakfast burrito was good and the place looks to be a really nice spot to hang as well. decided not to buy any beans.. perhaps i will mail order and try the other beans once I need to replenish my beans in a month or so

When I walked in, the place was absolutely packed with TTUHSC or TTU Vet Med students who were celebrating finishing their final classes for the year. It was quite busy with a large line in front of me, and since I was staying for a while, I was not in a rush. I ordered a lavender latte, and after waiting just over 15 minutes behind the gaggle of people who ordered before me, my hot beverage was ready. I really liked the cup they served it in. It had a cute mountain gradient with their logo on top. The coffee itself was pretty good. It was not anything groundbreaking, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Having to briefly hop on a call with my boss, I went out to their small outdoor patio and took the call. It was also a pretty decent spot for getting some work done. They serve a ton of different options, and it is probably a popular stop for people in the surrounding medical district to get a quick coffee boost. There were also plenty of people drinking beers and mimosas when I came in, celebrating their semester coming to a close at 9:30 in the morning, so good for them. You love a catch all spot.
