The first red flag was the $100 credit card fee just to register. You have to keep a card on file and they threaten to charge you if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, and weekends and holidays don't even count. When I asked about it they swore it was only for people who constantly miss appointments and that they totally understand if you get sick or something unexpected happens. I was told not to worry. A few visits in, my therapist scheduled me out several weeks so I always had a regular spot. What I didn't know was that the office also booked me separately without telling me, so I got double booked. I went to my normal appointment but apparently missed another one I never made. When I called, they said it was fine, not my fault, no charges. Then it happened again. I called again, got the same reassurance, and was told everything was taken care of. A week later my therapist told me my appointments were being canceled because I supposedly owed $300. She didn't even know what it was for. She confirmed it wasn't for missed appointments. So what the hell was it? When I tried to talk to someone I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone except a woman named Kate who is a complete tw[at]... there really isn't another word in English language that's more mild that could adequately describe her... rude, gaslighting, abusive, and completely unprofessional. She lied, twisted my words, and talked to me like garbage. After digging around I found out I wasn't the only one. Kate allegedly has a history of verbally abusing patients and crossing lines she shouldn't. Look it up for yourself. This place is a scam. They don't communicate, they don't care, and they will absolutely fuck your life over while pretending to help you. They steal from people, they gaslight you when you question it, and they hide behind fake policies. I later found multiple complaints filed against them with the Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Professional Counselors for misconduct and unethical behavior. It's all public record. In fact, Kate is such a gaslighting narcissist. I would bet money that they respond to this with some more gaslighting. 100% Were there smoke there's fire... and there's actual fire here.

A 30 something transient professional, I wasn't quite ready for the roots and the anxiety that come with a child AND IT SHOWED. After realizing that my postpartum anxiety and "survival mode" feelings from my job weren't going away on their own I decided to seek help. I was assigned to Nora, the owner of Sierra Sunrise Wellness Center and when I say she changed my life, I am not exaggerating. She created a safe space for me and helped me remember who I was before I was a mom and who I could still be. It took time and it took effort but she showed me the way and she helped me put together a sort of toolbox for the next pregnancy/postpartum period. Her space is warm and welcoming and her sweet old doggo Rolo is the best snoring snuggler to keep me grounded during sessions. As a nurse my schedule is often crazy with long hours and sporadic shifts and she always finds time for me. Their facility offers Yoga and Reiki as well as other amazingly beneficial workshops. I cannot say enough about Nora and her team, I'm so grateful I found them.

She was great! She did a great job at making all the moves transition into the next. She also had plenty of options for each pose to cater to each skill level. We gave this office three chances, and every single appointment was either rescheduled, pushed back, or switched to a different provider--this happened with both Jennifer Oropeza and Dr. Goyle. Jennifer Oropeza, who was recommended for my 11-year-old, was the worst experience. She tried to reschedule our very first appointment just 30 minutes before it started, even though we had already driven over an hour to get there. The second appointment, she again changed the time to leave early. The last straw was when my son got sick. The front desk warned me about their strict "no-show" policy, so I rescheduled for the next day. Then Jennifer texted me from her personal phone number asking why my child was sick and refused to see him if he wasn't well. She would not offer telehealth, and when I asked if canceling again would be counted as another "no-show," she said yes. She only offered to reschedule two weeks later, which is unacceptable for a child who needs care. When I asked for another therapist, I was told no one was taking new clients. We left and found help elsewhere. This practice has shown zero professionalism, little regard for families' time, and poor communication--completely unacceptable for anyone working with children's mental health. Parents, consider going somewhere else
