This is regarding Quest as a company. They denied me services which is illegal. Don't let them pull this bs on you. Here is their own rule: When Quest Cannot Legally Deny Services These situations are not allowed: 1. They are in‑network and the test is covered If Quest is in‑network for your plan and the test is a covered benefit, they cannot refuse service solely because: - they "don't like" the insurance - they think the reimbursement is too low - they previously had billing issues In‑network providers must follow the contract terms. Quest's own corporate policy emphasizes that in‑network status obligates them to provide covered services. I've been here before however, it appears they have fully automated since my last visit....NOT a plus for a customer. Being greeted by two kiosks, a locked ( with keypad ) glass door and a TV monitor with rolling ads for their services and a room full of chairs that rotate people as their appts are displayed on a screen when someone comes out to announce who is next. Very sterile and today we had an emergency...a lady who had just walked out after a blood draw collapsed in the arms of the person who came in to pick her up. She collapsed to the floor and there was no one visible, available, or even an emergency phone on the wall to get help from anyone working on the inside fortress. I pounded on the glassdoor for "anyone" to come to her assistance...she had gone white...and finally someone poked their head around the corner and could see the lady being assisted by people in our waiting room to a chair and opened the inside door. It was disturbing. I left for a bit after experiencing that but am back now to finish my lab appointment. ***The highlight was Leah, my nurse/person who drew my blood...(She deserves 5 stars- and is the only reason that o might ever consider coming back here for testing). Leah- (sp), was welcoming, helpful, going above and beyond to insure that my needs were met and all of my lab requirements were completed before I left....Thank you Leah (sp)...may God richly bless you for the love and care you showed me. read more

The reviews were worse than my experience. I will say I asked many questions of the receptionist and learned one of my three tests was at a different location and they asked if I fasted. I said yes. I wish there was a negative rating! Staff was rude, uncaring, blatantly lied, and we're very unprofessional. They told me Brittany was the manager (blond nasty woman) Said I missed my appointment when I was more than a half hour early and sat for hours. Oh and my name was still on the board. Shame on you. Used to be the best and now trash. The non Brittany liar should be fired for how unprofessional she was. Check your cameras and see! Bad form! Enough said. I don't think it's gonna matter that. I'm leaving this review. This staff seems to be so overworked. The waiting room, the first day I had to go, was packed. I had to wait an hour to be called...And I had an appointment!!! Okay, done! I get to eat now. I couldn't get an appointment in the morning so I had to fast until afternoon! I'm starving Unfortunately, I get a call about an hour and a half later saying that the sample they took was bad. It was degraded while extracting. So I have to go back the next day because I've already eaten something. Unfortunately, the same two girls were the ones I had to face for extracting. I requested not to have the same person do my blood. I don't think they like me for that, because the other girl did it this time and I was hoping she'd be more experienced, but she left a big blood bubble under my skin. I honest to God can't help but think this was deliberate. I guess they showed me! Surely you're good enough to take blood without leaving a great big blood blister. That you ONE job. Try to get an appointment w/their totally automated phone number, good luck ! I went twice to this location to pic up a test kit, and the next day to drop off the test samples. Both times I waited for over a half hour just to see anyone that worked there, and when I got their attention, not only were they dismissive and cold, but they were rude about it and told me just to sit down and wait. I stated that I was only there to pick up a sample kit and one lady did oblige me and returned maybe 15 mins. later with my Doctors requested kit. Upon drop off, I was informed by the kiosk I would have a 2 hour wait after having already been there 40 mins. I finally got the attention of a woman who was coming to call a patients name and I told her I was simply dropping off the kit. She said to wait whereupon I told her I was not going to wait 2 hours and here's the sample and that I was leaving. She angrily told me my name and info 'better' be in the kit and I informed her it is, that I followed all the instructions and am returning it promptly as asked to do, and I left feeling extremely aggravated and feeling sorry for all those elderly people spending their whole day in such a grimy pit.. The interior itself was nasty and looked as though it needed a deep disinfecting. Not only was every seat taken, but they were running out of standing room as more and more people continues to enter and check in at the 2 kiosk. They need to get a manager in that place and get it sorted out, because, I, for one, will never set foot in there again, and suggest you look elsewhere instead. read more

I went to this location 2x, 2 different lab techs. Both of them stuck me multiple times before drawing blood. At least the 1st girl gave up after the 3rd time and called for help (who got it first time). Some of the sticks were not even close to the vein. But today, she was not only sticking me multiple times, but also probing the vein in my hand, which is extremely painful, and she still couldn't get it. Honestly the staff that assist in taking labs are great. Beyond that don't expect any assistance. You check in on an iPad at the front no receptionist in sight for anyone that needs help. As I sit here there are numerous elderly patients asking each other questions about to check in and trying to figure out how to do it. Made an appointment for my 86 year old father. Phone call robot said you could make early appointments for the elderly but there was no such prompt so had to take first available which was in a week and at 1:00 p.m. for a fasting blood test??? Arrived for appt and had to wait 45 minutes while they appeared to take walk-ins ahead of him and others. One women finally asked a staff member who came out to waiting room when her12:45 appt would be . He replied sorry, he was on lunch and couldn't help. Then he said senior staff had a meeting and took all but 2 people to run the place and one of the two was to check in and draw blood and monitor the front door. Very poor management. I use this office for the regular blood testing that I require for a cardiac problem. I'd say that I'm there every three weeks or so. I make an appointment online, check in online and, without fail, I am seen at pretty much the exact time that I've scheduled. and out the door a couple of minutes after that. If there was a zero rating for Quest Diagnostics I would be giving it a zero. I was there yesterday to drop off a specimen and was told I would not be able to as I had an outstanding balance of over $1,300$! I was very upset and admittedly got loud and was then greeted by someone whom I assume was a manager who then proceeded to tell me they would take the specimen after I signed a waiver. She then gave me phone number to call to find out what the issue was. I did that immediately when I got home. Come to find out, the statement was sent to an address I lived at over 32 years ago, the blood work at the time (only routine annual blood work mind you) was billed to the hospital portion of my insurance and not the Dr, pathology portion, as it should have been, where I should have only had a $25 co-pay! So surprise, surprise it will now be showing up on my credit report in collections. My fault, hardly, if I had known they had no current address on file I would have updated them, if they didn't know how to read a simple insurance card I would have explained it to them, no one even asked. So guess who all the responsibilities to set it right belong to now, me of course. I will not be using the services of Quest Diagnostics ever again! read more

I've not ever been treated as rudely as I was at my scheduled appointment today. The blood taker was also clueless about how to perform the test I'd been ordered to receive.
