After moving from Orlando, I needed to switch Quest locations. While I noticed this location had some negative reviews, I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt--sometimes reviews can be misleading. Unfortunately, my experience here did nothing to ease my anxiety. I always try to do my part by staying well-hydrated before appointments to make the process smoother, especially since my veins are hard to find. The phlebotomist I saw didn't come across as particularly friendly or confident. From the moment she examined my arm, I had a gut feeling things weren't going to go well--and I was right. She missed on the first try, and I had to be poked again in the other arm. Not only did I leave feeling lightheaded and sick, but I also left with two bruised arms and a lingering sense of frustration. She made no effort to help calm my nerves or make the experience any less painful. I now feel torn between risking another visit to this location or gambling on a different Quest altogether. She came to the door and said she did not have an appointment acting very accusatory. She asked for my phone since I had mobile checked in. I had incorrectly selected another location on Bee Ridge. She told me to go there. THERE WAS NO ONE waiting. I was the only one there. They accept walk ins (without an appointment). She never offered to help me or treat me as a walk in. I had to drive to the other location and was 15 minutes late. That is horrible customer service!

My situation was dealt with and fully explained to me on what to do besides taking the prescribed medications they are having me pick up and take. When my Medicare supplement suggested places to go Two Rivers Urgent Care and Wellness had the best rating in Bradenton and they didn't let me down. I am well satisfied.

There was also a person assisting those who struggle with technology. I was seen at the exact time of my appointment. The lady drawing blood was very friendly and professional.
