I had blood work done but had to come back, as the injection site started bleeding more than normal. I went up to the reception desk and a woman named Jody was talking to a patient. I soon realized that she was just making chit chat and although I know that she saw me standing there, she chose to ignore me. Thankfully, another worker came through from the back and was able to give me a new dressing. I have also witnessed her being extremely disrespectful and mean to patients, especially the elderly. Not a good representative for your company. read more

Impossible to use phone and on line to make appointment. Can not talk to anyone to help. Wasted 20 minutes trying to make appointment, it gave me time slot 3 Times but when I click on those it said it was full. Very frustrating, then you have to start over if time slot is not available so do not say it is. It is like playing lottery trying to get time. Better odds winning the lottery than using this service. read more

I have never been to Quest before. Just moved here from St. Louis and LabCorp was always closer to me. I looked up LabCorp on Google and the reviews all had only 1 or 2 stars for feedback on each of their three locations (I don't expect people to take the time to give good feedback) but that was ridiculous. Quest had 3.4 average and actually were closer so I went there (if it were further I still would've gone because of the higher average feedback). Donna called me in and took my information and then back to the room to take my blood. I was waiting for the needle, something I hate terribly. I had to look up because I didn't feel anything. Donna did an amazing job, I was so happy you wouldn't believe. Also, I am extremely hard to find a place to get the blood as most people have to stick me a few times until they get it (and no, I'm not that bad a guy) I would go back to Quest if just to get Donna to draw my blood. Also, she was very friendly as was the other woman there. Nice waiting area as well. read more

My 98 year old mother has gone twice and has been treated absolutely horrible. The first time she didn't know they only take appointments now so they said she had to come back. She explained she lives in Assisted Living and she was dropped off and would have to wait awhile for the bus driver to come back. The let her stay but not before being rude and nasty to her. The next time I made a appointment for her and again very rude and nasty telling her she had no appointment. This was all from the person that sits by the window. She finally started to leave and a man came out to call her back in and he was also nasty. I always make a appointment and still have to wait longer then I should. This place is pushing people to go other places. read more

I like Quest Diagnostics a lot, but I dislike this facility. Expect long waits and surly employees. Do yourself a favor and go to Venice, North Port, or Port Charlotte instead. The shorter wait will more than make up for the longer drive. The Quest website shows the wait time at each facility, so there is no need to tolerate the ill-tempered staff in Englewood. read more

I have the need to get blood work done a minimum of 5 times per year. I always make my appointments online and never have to wait more than 5 minutes. I do not believe the negative reviews and the allegations of long wait times, especially in June?? Off season (i.e. no snowbirds) they are never crowded. If you walk in without an appointment in January or February, then you are just too stupid for words. Labs, doctors offices, hospitals, you name it. Everything is jammed in the peak season. Make an appointment and avoid the wait completely. read more

Had an Appt. Was the only person outside inside were two other people walked up to the desk and a very rude receptionist yelled at me to wait outside! Supposedly their was a sign on the door hardly readable to wait outside till someone gets you. First of all print a bigger sign and fire the rude receptionists!!!! read more

I just moved to this area. I have only had positive experiences in other quest labs that I have used in the past, which is the reason why I chose quest again for blood work. I specifically called to make sure that walk ins would be taken because I am up early and have anxiety about needles. The woman who unlocked the door at 6 AM was very nasty right away. Didn't acknowledge anyone just unlocked the door and started to walk away. I walked up to the kiosk to check in and it told me there are no appointments available today. I walked up to the desk and the same woman said they take walk-ins but there would be no guarantee that I would be taken for my bloodwork. There were only two other people there besides me. She was very nasty and yelled at another gentleman because he forgot to put on his mask. I don't understand why people would choose a job to work with the public if this is how they are going to act! read more

Friday, 6/15/18 waiting room completely packed. While waiting, they only called one person back in a half hour. Wait times over an hour. Blood draws take like 5 min. Working people had to walk out. A lot of chit chat going on but no one is working. This is not "season", they should be more on the ball. Come on people, it is not rocket science! read more

I walked into an empty waiting room ten minutes before the posted closing time only to be told that my blood work could not be completed because it required a 30 min spinning process and the Quest facility closed in ten minutes. Apparently, I WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS- How? I don't know, but none of the three idle Quest employees standing around the office were able to wait the 20-30 minutes to process the requested blood work. I of course- don't know QUest policies but it would seem that if the client presents before closing- the staff should provide the requested service and if necessary- stay to do the obligatory processing. None of the staff looked very professional in their hoodies - and obviously were not at all focused on customer service. I won't go back. I looked on the Quest website and there was no mention of arriving 30 minutes prior to closing or any other similar instructions. read more
