I was being lied to repeatedly and told to just "wait, the results are coming". They were supposed to be sent to 3 different locations and none were sent. This is the 3RD TIME Labcorp has lost, misplaced, forgotten to handle my bloodwork in the past year. Now I get to spend a few more hours of my time chasing down the billing issues (I'm getting billed for lost lab work) and having to re-do all the bloodwork and try to speak to a live person which is made very difficult if you require more than a canned online reply.

First off, I had the address and you can see the business name on the shopping center sign but it is not on the building itself. My appt was at 9am and I went back about 9:15am. They had others scheduled at the same time but they were in and out of there pretty quick. I just needed a blood draw to check my numbers and the phlebotomist stuck me in my arm perfectly in spot that others struggle to find a vein. That's amazing. I was out of there in record time. I've not had a reason to visit Baptist Beaches for a personal reason. I've been there to visit a…read morefriend and to take a family member there for their own injuries. While visiting my friend 5-ish years ago things didn't sit quite right with me. She was in the hospital for nearly a month with an excruciatingly painful kidney infection that just wouldn't heal quickly nor easily. To me, that seemed odd... but I'm not a doctor. She didn't seem to be getting what she needed to heal properly. Upon being discharged she sought other doctors for prolonged care. About two years ago, my mom fell and dislocated her shoulder. I took her to the emergency room at Baptist Beaches. Knowing she was in pain, she wasn't actually seen for any type of care (just checked in and places in a room for several hours before even meeting the ER doctor. While waiting she wasn't given anything for her pain, either.... Not even some ice to place on the shoulder. Once the doctor came him he was VERY short with her and spoke rather rudely, almost as if to childishly mock her because she, too, was being short and raising her voice. However, she was the one in pain! He even threatened to 'walk out of the room and not come back' after she told him that she didn't want morphine. She related it to another family member's death and it was an unpleasant trigger for her. He behaved quite immaturely as I waited for him to stomp his feet as he left the room. I literally had to be a referee for the two of them. To this day, my mom STILL cannot lift her arm much higher than where her elbow is. However, that is in part because she didn't go to physical therapy after her injury. A couple of months ago, I again had to take my mother to the ER immediately following a visit with her general practitioner. It was discovered that she had a blood lot in her leg. To this day, we don't know how big it is, if it's dissipated, where she's bleeding from, or exactly how serious it was. We DO know that this visit was much more palatable for her 5 day stay. The nurses were more polite and orderly in their interactions with her. They seemed to be knowledgeable and very thorough with their responsibilities and communications. In both cases, I'm grateful to have had an emergency room so close to her home!

Medicare allows these organizations to keep a portion of the healthcare savings they generate. This is a terrible hospital. Do not let your love ones go there for any reason.

We came back from a six week trip to mold in our master bedroom suite! I knew something smelled…read morefunny when we walked in the front door, but when we went into our suite, it was horrible. A black jacket that I had left hanging on my hook, was covered in white mildew/mold. I found Spencer's company through Chat GPT! Apparently two of his employees were out, so he came himself & did a complete walk-through of the master bedroom, sitting room, two walk-in closets (one with a full-sized velvet couch) and bathroom. I did get an estimate from another company, but we decide to go with Pure Maintenance because they would not only do the mold remediation, but thoroughly clean the ducts and sanitize the grates as well. I could not have been happier to have chosen this company. It took them four days, and we are so pleased with the professionalism, the thoroughness, and the results. I would highly recommend them! And if we ever have mold again (which we hope never happens, but we do live in Florida!), we will call Pure Maintenance again!
