I had a wonderful experience at this Quest. It's in the Outback shopping center. I got mixed up on my appt time, so the sign-in kiosk kicked me off. :( BUT the staff was so helpful. They came out and helped me get on the wait list. Everybody was kind, patient, and professional. Every time the staff would come out to the lobby, they would have multple people wanting help of different sorts. They were all very patient and kind. read more

Who loves getting bloodwork?? No one? Listen if you said ooh ooh I love it...I'll think you're a bit odd, but ok. Unfortunately I get the pleasure of having bloodwork at least 3 times a year, sometimes more often. I prefer my dr office but they're booked out 6 months and recommended Quest Quest has an online app where you can schedule an appointment, put in your insurance information, and answer a few basic questions. The night before your appointment they send you reminders as well as a QR code. Arrived for my appointment and was seen within five minutes, the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. All told I was in there for less than 15 minutes start to finish. No one will ever love getting their blood taken, but Quest made it as painless as possible! read more

Went to receive lab work waited 40 minutes when the wait time said it would be 20. Finally saw someone to be told I was supposed to fast, although my doctors office said that wasn't necessary. There fore I had to return the next day. Checked in and it said my wait was going to be 26 minutes. Not too bad, yet I waited over a hour to get the test work done and left with out it being completed. read more

I hate yearly visits to the office but these guys have made it less horrific. They're located on Jax Beach in the back corner of the Trader Joe's shopping area. As soon as you walk in, sign in on the kiosk. Then you'll see the wait time on the right side of the television screen. You can make appointments but they do accept walk ins. Then you get called back to verify your address, identity and insurance card. Payment is processed, but not charged until your insurance pays. You'll be told the approximate cost, sign papers and then to a room. In the room, under sterile techniques your bloodwork will be drawn. I was blessed to have Ms Pat take care of me. She's been with the company 23 years and really rocks! I have made this my go to place for labs in Jax. read more

I've been to this location a few times now and most times I'm just a walk-in and have been very lucky as the wait time was never more than 20 mins. Some times I'm the only one there! I love their new sign-in tablet. No more clip board! With the new tablet you they ask you a few basic questions and then have a sit! Your name will be on the tv along with your wait time! Service has always been good, no issues here. If you're getting blood work that takes a while they will have you sit in a small room with 2 recliners so feel free to nap. That's what I did for 3 hrs. I came in Friday to get lab work done that is super important. And there is a sign on the kiosk saying they were understaffed and not taking walk-ins and to come in the next business day. I walked in today, Monday, and nobody is in the waiting room, but they won't take me because they're understaffed and not taking walk ins again. There are employees back there working and nobody was in there getting lab work done, and they still denied me! This is for a cancer screening. One lab!! I am livid!! read more

I have been sitting in their waiting room now for 25 minutes with about 8 other people. No one is getting called back. I have been to other Quest locations in California that have been much more crowded than this one, yet things moved. At this rate, I could be here an hour before I even get called back. I may just have to walk out and find another lab. I did not think I had to schedule an entire morning just to have blood drawn. This place is seriously disappointing. read more

Can't depend on this lab. Lost four of my blood vials and never notified me. Doctors office called and stated no results. Called Quist stated my blood vials where on hold. Went to office told they don't do that. Numerous calls to numerous numbers, call switched to recordings. Just think your blood might be mine. . read more

I have never had a better experience than I did at this location with Debbie. I have always been very nervous with needles and she made me feel comfortable and was very pleasant to be around. Normally when I have blood tests done it is harder for techs to draw blood from my veins for whatever reason and Debbie got my blood drawn quick and painlessly! I was shocked at how good she is. Better than nurses I have had at very accredited hospitals. To say I am impressed is an understatement. I went to another Quest location previously and left bruised for days. Not today. I will always try to see Debbie and go to this location. Surperd experience. I would recommend booking an apt before online because if I had not booked one I would have had a longer wait, however upon arrival I was taken right back before others because I had an apt and they did not. read more

Quest is really convenient in that you don't necessarily need an appointment to get your lab work done. Our oldest child needed some bloodwork and was nervous to say the least. They did a great job of distracting him and making him feel at ease. They were very quick and managed to get us in and out. I'm not sure if this location is new, but the waiting area was pretty empty which is unusual for the few times I've gone to a Quest lab elsewhere. If you are coming from A1a, this location is more towards the back and right of the shopping plaza (closer to Bed, Bath and Beyond). Anyway, I booked my appointment yesterday online and luckily found a 7:45am time which is perfect since this place was on the to my work. The process was pretty easy. You sign in, then they call you at your designated appointment time ahead of the walk ins. If you have online access, I advise that you spend the time to book an appointment, it beats waiting. Also, make sure you get in before you scheduled appointment. If you miss it, they will consider you as a walk-in. I like this location and most likely keep using this location while I live in the area. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this Quest location. The waiting are is far outdated compared to other locations in the area. The person calling names says them from behind a wall and doesn't lift their voice higher than a normal sealing volume. I was 5 min late for my appointment and instead of letting me know the my appointment was canceled, they let me wait 45 min until it was too late for me to complete my required lab work. I asked to speak with the manager and allow them to fix the situation, the person never came me their name and told me 'look! We are short and you were late so you just get treated like a walk in'. I made an appointment at this location one week in advance - I've been to Quests where the wait is insane if you don't make an appointment. When I arrived at this location on a Friday morning, I was shocked to see how quiet the waiting area was. I was in and out in no time! The receptionist was friendly and the phlebotomist I saw was great! No bruising from the needle and I didn't feel a thing! Appointments here are a joke. Showed up for an appointment and it is now 30 minutes later and there are still four ahead of me. Slowest and most inefficient operation in the area. Only come if you have no other place to go. Only two technicians for entire office and they must also do all the administrative paperwork. No value for time and expense.
