I came in for some requested bloodwork from my doctor, and the only appointments I found was in the afternoon. When I arrived, I only waited an extra couple minutes because it wasn't busy. Marie, who is amazing and has such a fun personality. Let me know that I needed to come in the morning to get bloodwork, but there was no availability so she just asked me to come in at 7:30 in the morning and she'll get me. I honestly don't ever go to the doctor so I was not prepared for how my body was gonna react. Marie was barely able to get one tube of blood before I started getting very fuzzy and lightheaded, was about to pass out. She was so nice and got somebody else to assist. Put some cool air in my face to calm me down and an ice pack on my back. They waited until I felt a lot better and brought me to a room where they laid me down and use a faster method of removing blood. Just by changing things to get this done was a complete 180. She was able to take nine tubes of blood for me very quickly and I didn't pass out. I was talking to Melissa who was there in support of my issue with getting this done and she was so sweet and kept me distracted. She even stayed longer afterwards to make sure I was OK and I was able to sit up right. At the beginning after almost passing out I honestly didn't think I was going go get through this but they done this before they know what they're doing and what a huge difference. Everybody takes such great care of you and they're extremely busy in that office so please be patient. The last thing you wanted to is rush them when it's just not working out for the patient and they need a bit more time. I got in after 7:30am and left at 9 AM. This honestly should've been 20 minutes max, but because of having such a hard time getting blood drawn that it held up other people. I do appreciate it and thank you taking care of me and getting the job done. read more

I haven't written a review in years but this morning I had such an exceptional experience, I must share. I arrived at 6am for their 6:30 opening. I didn't have an appointment (along with a police officer there at the same time) and we were told it could be several hours. Both of us decided to take our chances and wait. In less than 30 minutes, we were each called in and at least for me, the service was fantastic. The technicians (I didn't get names) were so efficient and nice. They offer appointments knowing they don't have the staff to handle them and the patient ends up waiting an hour even though they scheduled an appt. You have the technology to text with appt info, how about you text your customers and let them know you're an hour behind. I schedule an appointment at a specific Quest diagnostics location on the app when I arrive at the location, I try to sign in on the kiosk, the system tells me it cannot find my appointment and to please make another for the next day. I have a 1:15 appointment and they are still working on 1pm. What is the use of having an appointment if you are not on time. So, now I am being shuffled off to another row of chairs because they are still running late. I was told they are short staffed, how is this my problem. It is not. The staff at check in area are so rude. Really rude. I'm so taken back by this. I'm currently sitting in the waiting room. Waiting 20minutes so far even though i made an appointment. I'm currently sitting in the waiting room and there is a member of staff who has the whole waiting room feeling anxious. As seen in the photo the garbage is over flowing. The signs are confusing as it says - Walk Ins please check in here Appointments please sign in here Then a peace of paper that says - sign in at kiosk. WTH- complete misdirection. I signed in using my number. did not get called for more information My number did not come up on the screen. I had to do it online and now wait another 23minutes I regret coming here. It seems this place is lacking a receptionist. I just witnessed a woman ask if they have received a fax from her DR. A staff member then antagonised her asking when exactly was it sent. What date what time. What's your name What's your DOB What was the Fax about And she is unable to check the computer for a record. She has to ask someone else. She then sighed and asked her coworker to check the computer. I felt like stepping in to protect the customer from the rude staff member. Are these actually medically trained staff? It feels like you took the rudest unemployed bad- mannered people off the streets. Stuck them in this centre and told them to be as rude as possible to waiting customers in hope to do less work. Also the floor is filthy. The door needs painted. And the lime green walls/ chairs look like dogs vomit UPDATE : contacted quest directly. No response. Their response is automated and unmanned. It's not always easy going in to get blood work. As much as I didn't want to be nervous I think I was a little bit nervous. The check in situation was so easy. I got called from a nice lady who was pleasant when checking me in. I could hear some of the communication behind the desk, and the staff was very friendly to each other and were great at keeping it professional! The school board sends us here for time sensitive, mandatory drug screening. When we all got here, we were told we didn't have appointments and we're to wait 30-45 minutes (no notice about that). The staff is disgustingly rude, they ignore questions, shut the door on us when speaking to them and give the nastiest facial expressions. They treat us horribly and give false wait times and tell us to just basically deal with it with no further information. SO HORRIBLE. What a horrible staff. read more

QUEST is the DMV of the medical industry: they call your name from a screen, obscene wait times, place is packed, ineffective, dull/rude staff. Atrocious wait time, despite making an appt or not. Today we did a walk in visit, we did the appt visit last week, same experience as I'm about to describe. 20 min wait, ok. Get called back to the second waiting area where they confirm your insurance which took 2 min, then we waited another 30 min sitting there. Get called into a room finally, wait another 30 mins for phlebotomist to come in. The actual blood draw took 3 min. So if you have 90 min - 2 hours to carve out of your day for a 3 min blood draw, I highly recommend this place. If you enjoy wasting your time, I highly recommend this place. If you enjoy inefficiency, I highly recommend this place. And the best part is, each and every time I've come to this locations, it's the SAME EXACT STORY. From Now on, I've changed all my lab work over to Martin Health, and will pay more just for the expedience and ZERO wait. Get your act together! read more

I was skeptical about visiting this office due to previous reviews, but I was surprised. From the given picture, the place is definitely remodeled. New paint, chairs and two up to date check in kiosk. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! When I walked in, I was scared I was going to have to wait due to it being so packed, but once I checked in, I was called only a minute or two after my 10 am appointment. The gentleman who called me back and started my paperwork, rushed through it, so he missed a code I DEFINITELY needed to be screened for! Glad I caught it, and just like with everything now-a-days, make sure you double check your papers. The phlebotomist who came in to draw my blood was polite and respectful and gave me a second since I was being a baby (hate the anticipation of the needle going into my skin). Of all the times I've had to get my blood drawn, she was thee gentlest and quickest (and I had 10/12 valves filled this day)! I have had only one problem with a tech who could not draw my blood , was very rude and stuck me three times. The best tech I have had is Rita. She is so knowledgeable, patient and very professional. I have very fine veins which are very hard to detect and some of the techs are afraid to draw my blood as my veins are so hard to find. Rita is a pro. One stick, no pain. Keep up the good work Rita. If I could give Quest a 0 star review I would. I have had negative experiences with this company no matter what location I've used. For example this location even with me being a patient who would've been paying a co-pay wouldn't allow me to use the bathroom. Once I drop off my sample this will be my first and last time using this location and I'll be switching back to LabCorp. read more

They had no guidelines in place for babies who are not able to wear masks to be placed in a separate area so they are not exposed to the vast number of adults in the waiting room even after waiting in the car for a text. Long two-hour wait, while employee staff went to lunch and abandoned all of us in the waiting room. The entire staff went to lunch behind a break room door ~All at the same time. There was a receptionist, but NOBODY to perform tests. After a solid 30 - 40 minutes of break time, the staff started to come back out to start up testing again. All they had to do was stagger their breaks, to help keep things moving a little. The waiting room was standing room only, and many customers were frail seniors. Bad. read more

Was called back for insurance info and paperwork less than 5 min later. I was worried because it was so busy and I had my 2 year old with me. I was there at 8:30am and out by 9:00am!! The billing lady was wonderful, fast, and friendly. My technician Alexa was awesome! She was quick and bubbly and efficient. Atrocious. Horrible service. The front desk staff are always giving a rude attitude. Highly inappropriate when dealing with sick patients. This past time was the last straw. I brought my mother in to fill an order for an upcoming appointment. We did all the prep work because of previous experiences with Quest not receiving orders. I ensured the order was faxed manually to this location and not uploaded into the computer system and then confirmed with Quest the day before that it was received before going in. We even confirmed the doctor's name on the order at check in. For some reason, between check in and then being taken into the back to get the blood drawn, the staff pulled and filled an order that was not supposed to be filled for another 3 months from a different doctor. As patients, we went above and beyond to ensure we were prepared for my mother's appointment, but because of Quest, this doctor's orders were not filled in time for the appointment. I had to take my mom to another Quest to fill this order and will have to redo the other doctor's order when the time comes for that appointment in 3 months. I have called Quest and requested a supervisor to call me back for an explanation multiple times and have not received any calls whatsoever. They have collected money from the insurance company. The insurance paid. No consequences for them whatsoever. The only result of this is complete frustration and inconvenience for the patient and family, an incredibly amount of time wasted and excessive blood drawn from the patient. I understand mistakes happen, but own it. This is the medical field. A mistake like this needs to be addressed. I am completely disgusted. read more

I had an appointment for my 6 month blood work today an it was a pleasure. From the minute i checked in with the new Kiosk system it took 8 minutes for me to be called in the back for my insurance paperwork.The billing lady was fast & friendly & that took about 5 minutes.
