This is my third visit to Quest in Stuart, Fla.Ironically,everything was ok(wait time,check in)except the blood draw.The WORST MOST INCOMPETENT phlebotomist ever.She was rough,grabbed my arm and just jabbed me hard.Im certain she was taking her bad mood out on me.I have to say,it was the most painful blood draw Ive ever had.Disgusting person.Will never return to this location.The room I was in was dirty and it was only 10:30am. read more

I had to get some blood work done and Quest Diagnostics was not too far from my house. Even after I read the reviews on Yelp I picked them. I recommend booking your appointment online as it does save some time. I was able to get an appointment fairly easily using the online booking process. You can provide insurance info during the booking process which makes it easier at the office. The office itself is fairly difficult to find. There is very little signage until you are actually at the office door. (It's located at the far east end of the building closest to Palm Beach rd). Once inside it's all automated. Meaning there is no one to check you in. Check in is through automated kiosks that take want a picture of your photo ID and insurance card if you are using insurance. Once this process is complete, wait for a nurse to come get you. The waiting room is big, and they have some good displays about who is next, appointment time, etc which was nice. Due to the amount of people in the waiting room when I arrived I figured it would be a while for my appointment however right at the appointment time I was called. That's really nice. Do yourself a favor if you can book an appointment online do it. While walk ins are welcome it seems you'll wait a while as priority is given to those with an appointment. The nurse taking my blood was nice and efficient. The only real hang up was that the Physician that requested the blood work was not in their system for some reason. That took a little extra time they got the results where they needed to go. Before the blood draw the nurse told me possible charges not covered by insurance and scanned my credit card in case the did not cover any portion. All in all a good experience. I can't emphasize enough though to make your appointment online if you can. This makes the process much easier it seems. read more

RUDE STAFF, Never any appointments for the morning and I was smuggly told that I could be seen anywhere within the nex 4 hours if I wait. i have to test every 3 months and I am a regular at this lab. I shouldn't be expected to wait FOUR hours because it is "season" now and all of the snowbirds are in town. The changes in policy here make being seen a nightmare! Came in to pick up a specimen capsule on a Saturday. Did the electronic check in with no appointment. Within 5 minutes, I was seen. Came back to drop off the test sample. Again. 5 minutes. The facility waiting area is comfortable. When the techs come out to bring someone back, they were generally good at answering questions to help with the check in process. Not sure why folks are leaving bad reviews...personally I think it's how you treat them as well. They are seeing so many folks and have to keep track of critical samples. My appointment was on November 20th 2023 at 11 AM. I arrived at I0:45 decided to go at 11:30 because I have a life to get back too,32 people in the waiting room. How do you get 32 people behind? When all you're doing is drawing blood and taking samples impossible. There's no way to talk to the staff. They're all behind the wall. You don't talk to anybody when you get there. It's all electronic check in very very impersonal. The one staff member that I did see come out and try to help people was about a sharp as a bowling ball. I don't think you could find the ground but this feet. This place is probably collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars a week and insurance money. And treated patients like shit. I'm gonna have my doctor see if there's another place. I can go to here in Stuart Florida I do not wish to go back there again. read more

These women are the rudest people around. The app shows Saturday hours as 7:00am-11:00 so I arrived at 10:35 for a quick blood draw. About 8 minutes after checking in an employee pokes her head into the waiting room and asked me if I I had an appointment. I told her I did not. She told me they were no longer accepting walk-ins and in fact had stopped taking them at 10:00. I told her that isn't mentioned online and she said it was. I use the MyQuest app regularly and I promise you it's not shown there. She had no sense of customer service whatsoever. My advice to people who don't want to work on a Saturday morning is don't work on a Saturday morning. Don't be rude to paying customers. She could have very easily defused the situation with "I'm sorry but we're no longer taking walk-ins today." She had no "sorry" in her game. It was MY fault for even showing up. Is a paper sign regarding the walk-in hours on the door too much to ask for? For her it must've been because she instead asked me very sneakily, "how are we supposed to get your blood processed in 15 minutes?" As if that's my business to know the ins and outs of her job. Change the hours to close at 10:00 if that's what you need them to be. If a business closes at 11:00 you should see customers until 11:00. Then close the doors and process your samples while you're closed. Very simple. No need for bitchy phlebotomists. read more

Rating of no stars, Made an appointment with the Palm City clinic. On arrival they said their computer was down. And they had people at lunch. Wrote my name down and said come back in an hour. There is no check-in station or receptionist just a computer on the wall. try to find someone to tell them I was there there. No one to Recheck-in. The Quest website indicates that the location found at 900 SE Ocean Blvd Ste 144E is open until 3:30 pm on Wednesdays. I arrived at 3:20 and was turned away by the employee standing outside of the entrance. I expressed that it was not 3:30 and that I needed to drop off a stool sample. I further expressed that I had driven from Hobe Sound, which is 12 mile, which is a good distance away. She repeatedly refused to allow me to enter the facility. She stepped inside unlocking the door only to let out employees. My pleas were repeatedly rejected even when I explained that my child is ill and needs the lab work processed. read more

My husband had an issue checking in on the app the other day (it didn't register until we went inside and use the letter code to check in, so I knew to go inside to check in when I went today. Very smooth process. With appointment, I was in and out in about 15 minutes total. Carla (2) is THE BEST and my veins are small, so not an easy draw. I had an appointment at 9:45 so I arrived 15 minutes before and signed in. They ask if you want to wait outside or in the lobby, I chose outside and gave them my cell number and they were going to text me. About 45 minutes went by so I went in to see what the delay was and I was informed that I missed my appointment. I told them I never received a text, they told me that I would have to sign in again and the wait would be 3 hours, because they were at lunch@ 10:30. I will never go there again! read more

I just had routine blood drawn and am very afraid I could have caught the virus. The waiting room was full and not 6 feet away. I saw one of the technicians quickly spray a can of Lysol in the air for approximately 2 seconds. Then she asked me to stand up and she quickly sprayed my chair. I am sure this did not disinfect the chair. The blood draw room was better but the arm rest was only wiped down on the top leaving out the sides. I'm very grossed out. Mlm read more

This was my second visit. Last time things, once I was actually able to be seen, went fine. Schedule posted was not accurate and so I had to come back twice. This time I made an appointment and was seen promptly, no problems. However, I have a horrible deep purple raised bruise on my arm. The needle stick hurt and continued to hurt while all the vials filled. I tried to suggest using my other arm in the beginning, but nope, we're using this one and we'll make it work. So I had an appointment and was taken 35 minutes after my appointment and I get it. Covid is here & everyone has limited personnel. I wasn't upset about the wait. The woman directing everyone & calling them into the back offices was extremely rude & barking orders at everyone. I had to wait outside and got a text when they were ready for me to come in. I did and went to tell her my name & I received a text that they were ready for me and she said "stop talking". If I ever spoke to a customer where I work like that I would be written up. She definitely needs sensitivity & CS training. The phlebotomist Joyce was very nice which made the experience tolerable. Get her some training! read more

The Staff was Extremely Rude. I had an appointment and they said my Dr. never sent any requests. It was sent 3 weeks before and my Doc's office gave me the Confirmation code but the nasty woman would not even look at it. They told me to go outside. I called my Doc's office again and they RESENT an electronic request. Again the nasty technician said she never received anything. Finally, I called the Doc's office AGAIN and they would FAX it. When I asked if she received the fax, the nasty woman told me she got nothing and to sit down and wait because people with appointments were before me. I HAD A DAMN APPOINTMENT!
