Setting up an account on Quest website was easy. my lab results right there at the touch finger.

The care I received Tuesday, June 4, at the Quest Diagnostics location at 10620 W Forrest Hill Blvd was beyond appalling. The woman assigned to my bloodwork entered the waiting room loudly yelling my name, followed by, "she's not here anymore," presumably referencing another patient. When I followed her to room #3, she asked for my paperwork. I provided what I had and mentioned that I had additional paperwork in my email. She curtly replied, "that doesn't do anything for me if it's in your email." I then had to request the email address--information I know they possess--to forward my paperwork. She pointed dismissively to a paper on the wall. Upon examining my other documents, she declared one test couldn't be done until July and threw the paper on the floor; she did pick it up afterward. Despite having another set of orders that she could have started on, she instructed me to wait in the waiting room until she received my email. She subsequently emerged twice, with an attitude, claiming she hadn't received my email and blamed it on my cell service, prompting me to step outside to resend it. On her third trip to the waiting room, she again claimed she hadn't received the email, despite it showing as sent in my outbox. When I inquired if there was a possible mix-up between an "O" and a "zero" in the email address, she dismissively responded that it didn't matter--something anyone familiar with email would know is crucial. I was about to ask for my paperwork back to leave when another, much kinder woman came out to inform me she had received the email. The original phlebotomist, realizing her inappropriate behavior, did not return to complete my bloodwork. While this unfolded, I witnessed her dismiss an elderly woman seeking support for her appointment entirely. Having bloodwork done is already stressful, and the blatant disregard for patients exhibited by this associate was, as stated, appalling. I will not be returning to this location and will request my doctor send future bloodwork to LabCorp instead. Quest should investigate this particular associate (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she was in room three, black, with bangs, a nose ring, and long acrylic nails). While I understand that everyone has tough days and we should assume positive intent, her outward rudeness was inexcusable. Quest diagnostics locations can be incredibly hit or miss for me. This location does accept walk ins so it can boost your wait time just a little bit but they do prioritize those with an appointment. I've probably had to wait max 10-15 minutes for most appointments. The phlebotomist on staff for the most part are friendly at this location, I've had a few that aren't as gentle but they are quick. read more

I had an appointment at 10:30 am , just like many other people and after almost 1 1/2 half of wait I'm still here waiting to be called . Really horrible service as only one woman came out to apologized after they were already late by more than 1 hr. The same woman just left for lunch a few minutes ago with a full room of people with appointments . I'm sure she deserve a lunch but most everybody here is waiting while working like me and we are already leaving our workplace on our lunch hour just to make it here - 2 hrs later we are still waiting with no lunch . What you can do better : respect people's time . read more

My appointment literally lasted 3-5 minutes. The lab tech walks me back, we sit down and she ask for my paper work. So, I begin to show her my paperwork in the spruce app my doctor uses and before I even unlock my phone she says "it has to be printed". I offer to email she says can't take it. Before I can say another word she goes "c'mon and walks me out of the office. Once we get to the lobby she goes, "I'm not taking anymore walk-ins, but you can print it UPS if you don't have one at home". MEANWHILE MY DOCTOR IS WILLING TO FAX THE DOCUMENT. If you had taken 10 seconds to let me speak instead of kicking me out, maybe we could have found a resolution (Ex. Recommend trying another location after printing vs. "come back another day" or let me offer to fax). I wish I knew her name because this was so rude. Just because you don't like your job or are having a bad day doesn't mean you take it out on patients. read more

I received great service from the young African American woman with Braids AKA Ms. 5stars but before her a Middle Eastern or Latin older woman was rude after calling my name I walked to the door handed her my sleep and attempted to go in like everyone else and she stopped me after taking my paper and had to make sure I was who I said I was. I let her know I wasn't happy on the greeting and she said I was getting too close to her is why she stopped me. I'm thinking to myself how else would I get in after giving you my paper. I truly think she wanted to serve someone else and since I no longer could trust her I turned my camera on silently in case I got any more bad service. She asked me let me see your phone and told her no and is there some law or policy she can show me. She left upset and brought in the friendly African American lady I would give 5 stars+. Ms. 5stars told me they had a policy about cameras and that they would do no harm to me. I explained I rather her do mine because I don't trust the other one she seems very uncomfortable with me from the beginning. I showed her my footage of filming myself and I could erase. The rest of my time was great in and out. I think The other lady is more comfortable with Senior citizens and may been some additional training. My recommendations is Quest check their employee and policy because I know hospitals, clinics can have their own policy and refuse service for all the Karen's and Kevin's but we also have the right to fair treatment and if we feel in danger we can request someone else to do the service. read more

although i tried several times the web site would not let me make an appointment. I am a repeat customer of Quest.

The worst expeexperienceience ever. Their automated system is horrible. Doesn't recognise every other person with an appointment. Since system didn't recognize my scheduled appointment I proceeded to make a walk in appointment. Was told 30 to 60 minutes. After waiting for almost an hour a representative comes out and states it will be a 2 - 3 hour wait, advising everyone waiting to leave and schedule a new appointment. There is no way to reach a live representative or seak help to resolve. These automated services stink. No one takes responsibility. Save yourself find a different provider! read more

I was in shock with my appointment. The woman was on the phone the entire appointment. This is really unacceptable. She only spoke a few words to me I felt like it was was bothering her time off. I will look into a different quest!! read more

I have had some bad experiences in the past at this location but today I had Roush take care of me, she is exceptionally compassionate, understanding, explanatory & extremely gentle. Quest needs more employees like her, she takes pride in what she does and in caring for patients. read more

Look, I think we all can stop kidding ourselves into thinking getting bloodwork done is ever going to be a "pleasant" experience. That said, I think I can say with ease that this was the best bloodwork interaction I've ever had. My appointment was at 7:15am (perhaps key to the downright pleasant experience), by the time I checked in, sat down and took out my phone to waste some time someone came out and called my name. When has THAT ever happened at any medical appointment? Right, never! The technician took my temp and directed me to our little cubby where I found the single most comfortable blood/testing patient chair I've ever seen. No joke. I want one of these chairs to have at home for TV watching! So comfy, I told her this was majorly impressive! The tech was really nice, we had a chuckle over the green gloves which I thought were "fancy" and I was out in less than 15 minutes. I'd questioned whether or not I wanted to be bothered going to an outside lab for bloodwork as I'm used to doing it at the doctors office but this was a dream. Now the best part - as I was leaving, another woman was also heading out and she says to me (from a respectable social distance) "Isn't it great? I love coming early, in and out!" That's the trick! First thing in the am and you're in and out without frills or crowds. And check out the chairs while you're at it. read more

I had a very unfortunate and disturbing experience at the Quest Lab after they failed to administer one of two tests my physician ordered for me. I returned to Quest in Wellington as a walk in (and waited for almost two hours to be seen). The door inside the waiting room to the testing rooms is locked. I waited until they called another patient and went over to the door to ask the nurse how much longer the wait would be and explained what had happened and why I was there. At that point she asked me in direct earshot of the other patients, what test I was there for. This is a direct violation of HIPA laws. She went in the back and came back with my prescription and handed it to me. I could see that it was the same one that was sent over prior to my first visit. I was told to continue to wait in the waiting room while they went in the back and looked in to what had transpired that led to me not being tested. She returned and said that it was not their problem nor their fault and again I was not told what had happened. All I wanted to know was what happened. I was not looking to place blame, but no one would tell me. Not one person expressed even the slightest bit of acknowledgement for the error that was clearly theirs. I did hear from three different individuals today at the lab, all who made sure to declare to me that it was not personally, their mistake. This is not to say that everyone was difficult to deal with. The technicians who draw blood do a great job and some employees were perfectly pleasant, but read on. Eventually they called me back to perform the test and as I was entering the waiting room to exit the lab, a technician who was holding open the door said to me " I don't like liars". I have no idea what she was talking about, her comment caught me so off guard but I left the building without saying a word, nevertheless it was entirely inappropriate, unprofessional and absolutely uncalled for and again this was said to me within earshot of the other patients. I left feeling disgusted and appalled. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by those who claim to be healthcare professionals. I simply can not understand how a business can be so ineptly run by people who are rude, dismissive, unpleasant but more importantly, unprofessional. At the very least, the employees could benefit from a review on proper procedure, some interpersonal training and a strong refresher of HIPA laws. read more

This place is absolutely horrendous! Incredibly unorganized and very rude staff. No one seems to know what's going on and the staff is incredibly rude and condescending. Unfortunately, there are very few lab center options, especially with certain ones not accepting different insurances. I really hope I never have to come back here and these people absolutely need more and updated training! read more

I arrived at my designated appointment at the Quest office on the grounds of the Wellington Regional Medical Center and was pleased to see only one other customer, a walk-in, in the waiting room, which was well-lit and clean. I scanned the appointment confirmation at the check-in kiosk and within a minute was called to the front window. The receptionist was friendly and professional. Within about five minutes, she entered my insurance information, checked my ID, and entered the three blood test my physician had prescribed into the system. Less than a minute later, the phlebotomist, Carmen, led my to the room to have my blood drawn. Carmen was friendly, professional, and most importantly, technically well-skilled. I have difficult veins to find, but she had no trouble whatsoever. She immediately found a vein and drew three vials of blood: no pain, no bleeding, no bruising. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I have never left a bad review but this is the worst location I have ever been to. I don't understand why this location is still opened. The staff is rude and dismissive. God forbid you have a question they roll their eyes like it's your fault they have to work. If you do not like your position you should find another line of work. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

One star only because I couldn't write a review without it! My experience started with a technician that was on the phone with a personal call throughout my entire appointment! Very little interaction with me and then handed me a bag with 9 specimen cups and a mail in form for the 10th. I asked if I needed to make an appointment to drop them off and she said no. Just come in, sign in on the kiosk and someone will come out to collect them. I returned with my specimens on Mon since they are not open on the weekend and checked in. When I see a technician come out for another person I said I was just there to drop off. She asked if I checked in and I said yes. She said she would look for it and brought the other person in with her. After an additional 15 minutes another person came in with her specimen cup. The next technician that came out sees the other lady with her specimen cup and asked if she was just dropping off. She said yes and I said I am as well. She tells the lady that arrived after me to go back and leave it on the table. I asked if I could do the same. The technician was rude and basically told me to sit and wait even though I was there before the other person. Thankfully, Olivia returned to help me. As she was going through my order she said I should have been given another (10th) specimen container at my initial visit. The lack of customer service at this location is very disappointing. Olivia is the only one that is concerned for the customers! She should retrain all the other employees! I was a half an hour late for work which could have been avoided. I will not go back to that location!! read more

I am not a fan of quest labs. I find them understaffed and help not always helpful. In this case the phlebotomist was very nice, but was too busy to see me on time. I had an appointment at two and I was seen at 2:20. The bathroom that I had to use for my urine sample was out of toilet paper and paper towels. The faucet was mounted so close to the porcelain that it was hard to wash my hands. I think Quest could do a better job. read more

Nicole was beyond rude to me, and has no problem with being rude to patients in front of other techs as well. She slammed the door in my face when I asked her for her last name to file a report. I had a blood test appointment, once in the room I asked nicole what the blood test would show if anything and she told me "I already told you once I'm not repeating myself." And I was taken aback, I responded "I forgot what you said can you tell me again?" To which she responded "no im NOT repeating myself, I told you once." In a harsh tone. I was super shocked that she was responding like this to me and I again told her that I didn't remember what she said and for her to just tell me again bc what's the big deal right? She responded "no I SAID I'm only telling you once, look it up, you got a phone don't you?" while she raised her voice and opened her eyes wide, her thick glued on lashes lifting in the corners. I was shook and confused at how she was talking to me, I let her know that this is unacceptable to be talking to a patient like that and that I would like to speak to someone about this. She then said "it's too early for this" and I told her "I got the time" we both walked to the hallway where she told me to go wait in the waiting room for someone else. I was like um no I would like to speak to someone about how you're talking to me and she just kept telling me to go to the waiting room and I repeated myself knowing I would just be left there. Just in time another tech came walking by down the hall and I let her know what happened I was shakey and my voice was too, prob adrenaline rush from the whole ordeal. This tech then told me that she would take care of me instead and lead me into her room and told me in a nice tone that the reason the other tech Nicole was saying no to me was because my doctor should have told me what the test does and she's technically not responsible to tell me. I told her about my mom booking the appointment for me and I didn't know, I was just curious about what it would show and it wasn't about her not telling me that it was about her tone and how she was talking to me rude. Nicole then came into the room slammed an empty vile on the desk and told my new tech "draw it and get her out of here". I was like "wowww, there she goes being rude again." I felt like crying at this point and my new tech was shaking her head prob in disbelief. I asked the new tech if this has happened before with her talking to people like this and she kept quiet which is an answer within itself. After I got my blood drawn I went back into the waiting room and Nicole came out as well to grab a new patient, i told her that I would be filing a report on her and I asked for her name. She said "Nicole", I said "and your last name?" She then immediately turned her back and slammed the door in my face so loud causing waiting room patients to turn their head in our direction.
