RUNAROUND AUTO 1 Star - Absolutely unacceptable and exploitative…read more This has been one of the worst auto repair experiences my family has ever had. All Around Auto in Socorro sent my dad the WRONG transmission, and instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they left us dealing with the consequences. Because of their error, my dad had to pay labor costs AGAIN to remove and reinstall the transmission. We were very clear with them that we are financially struggling and simply cannot afford repeated labor charges due to someone else's negligence and yet they pushed forward anyway. What makes this even worse is that it feels like we were given the runaround instead of a real solution. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a business fixes them. In this case, it felt like "ring around the rosie", endless back-and-forth, no accountability, and zero concern for how badly this affected us. When a shop sends the wrong part, they should make it right, not financially punish the customer for their own mistake. This experience felt incredibly unfair and, frankly, like we were being taken advantage of because we had no other option. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially if you're on a tight budget or expect honest, responsible service. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the frustration, go somewhere else.
