I purchased a toasted buttered roll and a coffee from Quick Check, Route 9, Howell, NJ, just to be left with an expensive, leather, vintage purse, drenched in an excessive amount of butter from the roll. My bag is ruined! After professionally corresponding with Quick Check's CS Dept., they offered me a refund for the roll & butter. Management has ignored my many requests' to have my bag cleaned or replaced. I am a disabled senior citizen, who frequented this establishment for many years. It seems that as long as you patronize them, they love you as a customer. If there's an issue, you simply do not matter. Should have been going to Wawa. Lesson learned. read more

Never sure what's going on here, kiosks and automation proliferate but simple things like making a sandwich correctly seem to be at the bleeding edge of their capabilities. What staff there is seems pleasant and eager but I'm not here to hand out participation trophies and gold stars for a spirited round of guess the condiment. I just came from here and they gave me my order of cheese fries with no fork and when I asked for one they said it's in the dining room but the supply was out so I came back to ask for a fork and they made me wait for 10 minutes while they said that they were checking to re-stock them but the guy seemed to be hiding around the corner. It was so annoying because I already paid for my cheese fries but don't have a way to eat them. read more

i just moved to the howell area and have gone to quick check twice in a week, the store was clean, the workers were friendly, helpful and extremely kind. i purchased a sub and other items, everyone was kind and knowledgeable and complimentary as long as helpful and honest. i really felt special being a senior citizen. it is so nice to see young people so kind and helpful. i will be going there to get my gas and other items there. Twice i had a very pleasant experience shopping there..I will definitely share this with friends and families.. Even the customers coming in the store were friendly..Kindness spreads throughout the store..It was truly a pleasant experience for me.. A cashier came to give me more money for a ticket i had cashed in, and it showed the honesty of the workers. I was very pleased to shop there..i will be going back even for gas.. The young lady helped me with ordering my sub on the screen..very kind. I love that..A very pleasant experience. read more

It's a nice clean place, and the customer service is very good. I do have one minor issue with the one gas attendant, maybe he is just being cautious. But he starts pumping the gas, then insists that you pay before it's done pumping. Maybe I am being paranoid, but that makes me nervous because I had someone at another gas station try to make me pay twice that way. It's probably an innocent thing, but just be mindful of that when fueling up. read more

I made an order with QuickChek in Howell and they messed up so I called them to tell them and they said they'll be happy to make me another one but I would have to contact Grubhub to come pick it up. What a great deal I got two for three dollar burritos and I'm a vegetarian and I could custom order them and they still gave me the price! I also found a chai tea under their hot lattes. But the girls that make the things in the morning are just lovely I will be back! read more

Wawa is the shit. I love this place so much. Hogie fest is the best. I gave u five stars Bc this place really tingles my Bells. It soothes my melons. It roasts my turkey. It spins my meat. I usually love this place--in and out for coffee and pretty reliable food--but the last two times have been different. My food order was messed up because the guys were too busy doing a Laurel and Hardy comedy routine to pay attention to what they were doing. Loud talk, throwing "funny" insults at each other, hardy-har-har while the line gets longer and I get ham that I didn't ask for. Can anything be done? read more

Pros: Good gas prices, same price for cash or credit. Store is clean. Cons: Many of the gas attendees (not all) are rude. They don't even speak. Me: Good morning. Fill it with the regular please. Employee: Silence. Just takes my card. Done filling the tank. Me: Thank you. Have a nice day. Employee: Walks away saying nothing. There are a couple of older gentlemen that work there that are very nice, but unfortunately a few bad apples spoils the bunch. read more

First off - kiosks not actual workers but with morons asking for $15 an hour to do a part time high school or college kids job what do you expect??? OK I know the economy is in the dumper jobs are scarce but it's still a part time job not a career. Coffee - horrible, more like water and that was the dark roast - WaWa has the coffee hands down Early morning staff - only 1 good pleasant young person the others seem annoyed when you need something and ask for it from behind the counter. OK so I'm liking the kiosk thing a little bit more since I don't have to speak to annoyed workers in the morning. Gas attendants - also not the friendliest they def do not seem as if they want to work there. Even gave a couple of them a tip and still not satisfied. All in all a big waste of a store - I started driving south or further north to go to WaWa at least I feel welcomed and appreciated there. Will only go there for convenience and that's maybe twice a week at most. I'd rather pay more elsewhere and that's not to say they are cheaper (about the same as WaWa) just once in a blue moon I don't have time to stop elsewhere. I just went to get a sandwich at this time 12:31 pm on Thursday morning and every time that I go there the same person is working there with a disgusting attitude to perform the work she is being payed to do and the chicken from the sandwich I bought was chewi and nasty. A half ass job if you ask me. I know that I am not the first client to experience this but it needs to be rectified because when I pay for a quality meal as quick check claims to have I expect it to be that way, not have the descubrí get experience attitude and food that I have received from the cook at that time of day. read more

Inquired directly to Quick Chek online, no reply. Hot foods require to be kept at a certain temp. Something wrong here. Coffee doesn't compete with Wawa anyway. Won't go back.
