So I drive for a living and because of this I buy gas pretty much every night. QuickChek stations are one of my preference as the price seems to be a little bit less than others and their coffee/ cookie selection is incredible. Now I reviewed this particular chain before out in Middletown New York and it wasn't a very nice one, and unfortunately this one isn't that great either. My main concern/ complaint is the lack of windshield washer fluid at the pumps. I've even gotten a hold of corporate in the past and they said they were on top of it however I've been to this particular location two nights in a row now and since about a week and a half ago at least if there's no washer fluid.... Well actually no I stand corrected there is actually washer fluid in the reservoirs tonight, however there's only two squeegees to go around four different sets of pumps. I will attach a picture of one of the squeegees to this review as it is the most ugly, decrepid looking piece of equipment I've ever tried to use to wash my window. Not sure exactly what anyone thinks a person is supposed to do with this thing but yeah My other observation... Well actually let me go back to the coffee and cookies and once again say that they are phenomenal. I hate being all negative when there are positive aspects. But as I was just saying, my other observation is the garbage around the pump areas and the cigarette butts in the parking lot as you walk up to the door. Coincidentally I'm at the same gas pump tonight as I was last night and the same garbage /paper cups are in the same places that they were yesterday. Someone took the garbage out because they were overflowing yesterday but nobody picked up the trash around the pump. Nobody has swept cigarette butts and quite a while or at least I'm guessing because judging by the number on the ground either it's been a while or there was a group of about 45 people smoking cigarettes all at the same time. So anyway, I'm actually going to stop at a couple other locations later including the one in Middletown that I reviewed earlier just out of curiosity to see if their washer fluid situation has changed any. The corporate office said that they were on top of it however who knows maybe it takes a couple weeks for word to get down the corporate ladder to the managers of the stores to get stuff done. read more

Worst sub ever! I used to work on the road and got the best subs at Quick Chek, even over sub specific stores but not anymore. I got a veggie sub and my partner got a ham signature sub. They were empty! Subs should be packed with fresh veggies and lettuce so that you cannot get them closed. My partners you could only see ham peeking out, where are those veggies he requested and lettuce. Mine lacked more than a tiny bit of shredded romaine?, cukes, and banana peppers. Maybe they were running low? Then tell me, don't let me anticipate crunchy goodness and fail! I've tried twice now and been sadly disappointed... you've lost my business. read more

I went into the location on 5/10 as I normally do with my 3 children 9,6 and 3. We were grabbing stuff as normal to be paid for we get to the counter my son the 6 year old runs behind the counter he just has a habit. He never touched anything or grabbed anything he knows better a white male that works there decided to say jokingly which I didn't find nothing funny and say my son was stealing out loud. The white female next to him decided to laugh at which point I immediately got uncomfortable and my Anxiety grew I immediately grabbed my kids and walked out before It escalated. Not only is my son emotionally scarred but he has to deal with feeling nervous and anxious going in a store as a 6 year old. When I am done with this quick check because they seem real Racist and nobody ever holds them accountable especially being in the the community they are in they don't need to be working there if they don't know how to deal with and interact with the public especially poc and I will bring change. I had money I spend money there all the time I have never crossed this man anything so if you want to be treated unfairly and a poc stay away from here all money ain't good money don't spend your money here and it doesn't matter about the money it was how my child a 6 year old was treated !! read more

One of the better QuickCheks I have been and living in NJ I have been to a lot of them. - Very good gas prices for NY state. If you are in a pinch leaving from the Catskills be sure to tank up here. - Really nice workers. They ask if you want the receipt in the bag or handed to you. (I always wanted it handed as I verify all credit card receipts monthly.) - They actually know how to read the sandwich orders, ask for your special request, and execute it flawless. Lots of red tobasco! - The sandwiches are decently packed and not miserly looking as sometimes is the case at a few NJ locations. When my favourite Chinese take-out is closed in the Catskills, suppose this is gonna be plan B. read more

Food quality depends on who makes the food. I commonly come to this Quick Chek while I'm on my way to work being that you can get a decent lunch sandwich for about $5. Their breakfast items can be pricey for the size of food you get. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO - $4 BEC Wrap). The place is clean and the coffee is good, although the price of the ice coffee is kinda high, especially for having to make it yourself! read more

I'm a huge fan of Quick Chek. I used to go there a lot when I lived up north. Loved their sandwiches and soups and the coffee! They also had the best prices for gas and sold lot of other groceries, beer, etc. Bathrooms are always clean and the service is always good. read more

Basically one of only 3 gas stations I go to on a daily basis. They have everything: your typical gas station snacks, a food counter that has various breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections made to order (pretty quickly I might add), goooodddd coffee, healthy snacks like yogurt and fruit, and CHEAP GAS. It's definitely worth it if you're in the area-damn gas prices are going up, but it's sooo much cheaper to come here! Get a QuickChek card, you get a 5 cent discount on the already lower prices. And you can use the extra money on your QuickChek card thingy to buy snacks. Awesome. read more

Slightly after I began to learn the benefits of saving money on gas by using their discount card, I started to come in here. It was fairly common to notice me in here buying gas on my way home from work. I'd stop off and give them some money to pay for discounted gas. I rarely had a line here. Things seemed to move fairly quickly here. Besides that, they also sell miscellaneous things that make this a good stop for common staples of American life such as milk and butter and sandwich utensils. Surprise, surprise, there's even a sandwich making location here along with a self-serve drink filling location here. The aisles are wide and I have never seemed to find a problem coming to this location. I've only found the sandwich they make to be disappointing. The sandwich they make for the price they use, is definitely a disappointment. You get a much bigger sandwich at Subway for a much smaller price. I do like though the style of bread they use for the 6" sub. They don't use just half-rolls as the 6" roll Subway uses, however(the only plus about the breads they use for their sandwich). Also, I do like the self-service technologically-advanced ordering station. Makes things a breeze to order exactly what you want in a short period of time. Although I'm currently taking a break and using another Quick Chek down the road for my gas purchases, I currently keep this one in my thoughts and will use this station in the future. read more
