I called and left a message. They called me back and told me we don't do that type of job and started referring me to a well-known reputable place to get it done. They were on the phone with me for at least five minutes. They were kind, helpful and they didn't even have to call me back.. They went out of their way to call me and direct me to a place that could fix my equipment. The 4 other places I called, never called me back. the service was amazing, my pc's ssd broke with the Os on it, so they had to get me a new os and dusted my components and when I came and grabbed it the helped with opening my doors. my pc works better then new as very fast service request, no need to call in. just head in and ask if you can get it repairs. sure you may need to pay when you bring it in. Sometimes when you leave but it's worth it if you need it. and they take about 1 day to fix, maybe more If it's really complex. and if I have any other PC repair questions I know where to go. Absolutely the best service ever. Having lived here five years, it is so difficult just to find anyone to help me with anything let alone computer help which I thought I would never find. I was so grateful when Bobby showed up. He saved the day fixing my printer and my computer and updating me into a better position. I'm so grateful someone like this is around to help people because some people are just too Important to bother. Just knowing that there's someone that I can call when I need help is amazing. Bobby is awesome. My PC lost its mind and its cloud backup and I thought the worst. Celeste reassured me that it would be OK. And Bobby got right on it so I had it back later the same day. Bobby saved the day for me. THANK YOU BOBBY!!! Celeste was also so comforting and optimistic when I was freaking out about my laptop which I magically locked myself out of. The invoice amount was extremely fair and the turnaround very quick. I am so glad I found them in the "yellow pages" of an old paper telephone book. With no computer and my iphone also out of order recently, the paper yellow pages helped me find them. Located right next door to the South Beach post office, I highly recommend their services. Do NOT go there. My husband and I gave two computers to them for fixing. They charged us $60 (30x2) for a "diagnostic" which led up to them saying they could not do anything ... I had a make and he a PC. They did not touch the Mac because it couldn't start (well, that's why I took it there- you're supposed to find a way to make it start !). As for the PC, they said it could not start either when it could at home! What we thought was a fan problem was a graph card problem and we were told it would take $300 dollars to fix it because he would need to replace EVERYTHING inside. The computer was 6 years old so we did not think it was worth paying that much money for. We went there because they were the closest but we should have read reviews online before. Honestly, they are not even that knowledgable-i brought in a new charger for my Mac since they told me that that was the problem (they offered to sell me one for $50 but AppleCare provided one for free) and the lady (bobby's mom apparently) did not even know how to take it appart and almost broke it ! Of course, that was not the problem either and the computer still did not start. So I ended up going back one week and a half later, with two still broken computers, $60 less in my wallet and a whole lot of bitterness. Hope that they go out of business and that someone else worth going to takes over. I repeat: do NOT go there. September 2014 UPDATE: The seller contacted me in private to let me know that both computers had a motherboard problem. This was WRONG. After I wrote the review, I ended up going to the Apple Store in Corvallis (one hour each way) to have them take a look at it. They let us know that my Mac would not turn on because of a problem with the keyboard (the On button being included in it). We had them take a look at it and got it back 4 days after that. It has been working wonderfully ever since and I did not have to pay to replace the motherboard. Do NOT take your business there. read more

I recently moved to OR and just as I was getting ready to open my photography business here... it happened. The computer started acting up. I had just happened to recall driving by this place, making a mental note of how good it wass to know where to find a computer repair shop. Little did I know, just a couple of short days later, I would need to call on them! I left a message before business hours and within minutes of opening, my call was returned. I dropped of the tower in the morning and tech communicated with me through out the day about my options. Long story, short: the tower was fixed by the end of the day and the final cost was actually less then the quote as the tech was able to find less expensive solutions than the original one proposed. I'm extremely HAPPY with them and will refer them and use them from now on! :) read more

Called to bring in my business PC and talked to somebody that "thought" they could fix my PC, so in a pinch during my lunch hour I went to visit knowing they were not there from noon to one. After eating at the door until 1:15 we left and returned to work late, nothing accomplished. I even called and left a message to "rekindle" my business, no return call. Hi everyone! I am a bit confuse that anyone would give a one star rating! I went in and was treated in a very friendly manner and my old MacBook Pro was beyond repair for it's age! I bought a new DELL PC and Bobby was able to transfer all 270 GB of my files and actually spent 2 hours extra on my mess without charge. I feel he did a really superior job and went very far above anyone else I have ever had do computer repair and service for me. I think you shall be very happy with the results you shall get at Quick Computer Service. I totally screwed up my laptop and was told by a friend that it was toast. I took a gamble and contacted a computer service I had never used and was so glad I did. Quick Computer Service saved my laptop, explained what was wrong, had it fixed to perfection in a timely manner and the cost was so fair. I would highly recommend this to my friends as THE place to have your computer fixed. And I might add, the people who work there are so friendly and took time to explain to me what I should and shouldn't do - I need that advise as I am pretty illiterate when it comes to all this technical stuff. Rip-offs! Do not buy or go to this place. The store looked ok at first, but his prices are unreasonable, and everything is so out-dated it's like stepping back in the 90's. Everything is low-end and mostly used parts. I purchased a power supply from him because I was building a custom pc for my son for his birthday. Of course I could have ordered online from Newegg but I wanted to support a local business. I immediately installed it and nothing. Completely dead, so I thought maybe I should double-check my hardware. I put it in another pc I have that I know works, and nothing again. Finally I put it in my high-end custom gaming rig I built (probably worth more than all of his inventory) and not a damned thing. We then used a multimeter to test it and sure enough the power supply was dead. I should also add that it was missing a 6 pin connector so I bought that from him too- something that should have came with it according to the online specs from the manufacturer. I called them immediately to let them know both things and he straight up called me a liar and told me that I burned it out. First off, I have been building computers since I was a teen. My father was an engineer for Intel and AMD so I grew up around computers, and my husband builds semiconductors. I have worked as a tech and supervisor for Apple, Google, and Microsoft and never have I fried a component, because I always check the specs for compatibility. It infuriated me that he was talking to me like I was an idiot trying to rip him off. He told me that he tested it in front of me as I was buying it which was a bold faced lie. He did not test it, and my husband who was there attested to that. I even gave this jerk a free brand new motherboard I had no use for just to help support his business and I regret doing so. He told me that everything sold is as-is and no refunds. I didn't even ask for one. I asked for a replacement. He does not have his policy posted so buyer beware if you buy garbage from this guy you're not getting your money back. I was shaking after the phone call. Never have I had someone be so rude to me and belittle me like he did. I took it back to the store and the woman at the counter told me that he tested it in front of me. Yet again a lie that I am tired of hearing. I left it for him to test himself because I highly doubt he ever has. I finally called my bank to ask for an investigation and chargeback and they did it immediately. The rep told me that they had no problem doing so because they have him marked as a bad business. I found out recently as well that he has a terrible reputation in this area. I was laughed at by a co-worker because I guess everyone here knows to avoid him because he's a jerk and scammer.
