Very disappointed in the service of this business. We got into the store at 8:30 on a Friday…read morenight, knowing the store closed at 9:00 we were going to be fast. At 8:40 we were told my daughter could not try on a couple of pairs of jeans because the "dressing rooms close at 8:30." Why do the dressing rooms need to close THIRTY MINUTES before the store closes?? Especially when three of the employees were just sitting behind the counter chatting away! We would have for sure bought at least two pairs of jeans tonight - that was our reason for being there. But us and at least one other family were turned away from using the dressing rooms so we both decided to take our business somewhere else.

There's A Home Goods too but not sure that's an actual anchor store. It's a beautiful mall to walk around and shop. Lots of smaller stores many of which I had never heard of. A smaller food court compared to most malls. For there only being 3 days until Christmas I was shocked at how dead it was. We had pictures with Santa at 12pm and I got there early as I anticipated a full parking lot. But nope no issues parking. Found Santa right away in the middle of The mall by JCPenney. That truly is a beautiful set that he's in. He's also a good looking Santa! We didn't stop in or purchase anything in the stores, although we did walk thru Round 1 which was a cool arcade / small bowling venue. Lots of empty stores. . The center elevator was also out of order. So you I'd be nice to see a restaurant in here and eventually attend the Mammoth hockey practice arena to watch them practice. Also a Mammoth or Jazz souvenir shop would be really ideal.

My family stumbled across the City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City when we were just…read morelooking for downtown parking and found an underground garage...and then a big Nordstrom's sign right in front of us as we got out of the vehicle. As we poked our heads out from underground like groundhogs, we saw we were in the middle of a giant indoor/outdoor mall. We explored the mall and really enjoyed the naturally lit indoor spaces with wide walkways and nice artificial water features. We ended up spending about 3 hours here visiting stores we've never seen back in AZ. There's 4 different wings and most wings have shops on two floors. They have a large food court with the restaurants spaced where you can easily walk between. There was also plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! Thanks City Creek Center for the unexpected but fun exploration of our tenants!

Regardless of the reasons behind the policy, visitors and residents reasonably expect a downtown shopping center of this size and caliber to be open seven days a week--especially on a weekend day when people actually have time to shop, eat, and spend money downtown. Salt Lake City has become an increasingly diverse and cosmopolitan destination, and City Creek should operate like the major urban shopping destination it is. Closing every Sunday feels unnecessarily restrictive and out of step with what many customers expect from a modern downtown retail center.

I bring this up because Tilly's is almost indistinguishable between them and the cool clothing and accessories stores like a Bronxton, Hollister, Hot Topic, PacSun, Zumiez, etc. Well, that may be exaggerating a bit, but the boys and girls fashions are unique (a bit more hipster industrial, ironic trucker hat vibe in sports. But they have Van's when I'm across the street from a mall with a Van's Store. While they say "Men's" and "Women's" they really mean boys and girls in their teens. Still, an ample selection, very nice staff, and I'm sure you kids will find something cool. Adults: you needn't go further in the store beyond the kooky socks and cools shoes. Most of it won't fit our sturdier frames!
